Avesil (Avasil) Review

When your order Avesil (and keep the product) you'll then be charged $19.95 automatically from a company called Fit-Factory, a diet coach webpage. They said they sent an email with instructions to let them know if you don't want their service but I never recieved an email. Thankfully they agreed to cancel my membership and said they will refund my money so time will tell. If you don't return the unused portion of Avesil they start billing you again for the $89 per month.

I was not satisfied with the product. I saw no difference in appetite. They hit my card for 2 orders within 2 weeks of each billing. I sent back both bottles, and still no credit from them.

My opinion is that it is not a very reputable company to work with.

This company runs a scam. They promise a "free" trial and when you return it certified with a RMA number, they will not refund your money. I am taking my case the the Better Business Bureau, and suggest you do too.

I wish that I read these comments before ordering my "Free TRIAL" that is now costing me $89.95. There was nothing on my order confirmation that said I had to canel withing 30 days and return the bottle. They say that it was on the packing slip, who reads the packing slip? I found out today when the $89.95 was deducted from my checking account. I will also file a complaint with the BBB.

Okay, I have to say that I am so glad that these are not my results. I am, however, sorry to hear that you've had such bad experiences. I had no problem at all. I paid the S&H of $5.95 and they shipped as promised. I did print a confirmation once they processed my order (just for record purposes - since I keep maticulous records). I like to be prepared for anything. Anyway, I received my product and read the packing slip and all other material. This took all of maybe 2 minutes. They did not include any tedious instructions. All was simple; very well organized.

Even though they probably threw the RMA number in the process just to be a hassle, that was very simple. I set an alarm on my cell phone for a reasonable cancellation date and called once the alarm went off (and this was over the Christmas/New Years holiday). On day 13 I called cancelled and received the RMA # and mailed the empty bottle back around the end of January. See the catch is you have to cancel and receive the RMA by the 14th day. You actually have 30 day to mail the product (empty or not) back to the company. I received the cancellation confirmation email and was instructed that I would not receive any further charges. That was that. I used the product along with Leslie Sansone's "Walk SLim". It worked great. I can only sing praises for Avesil because the product does work.

What a scam. I returned my bottle within a few days and I'm now being charged $89.95. Don't order this product. Once they get your credit card number, you are stuck. I did not like the product because it made me feel "hyper". No one told me I would not be able to drink diet soda if I used this product. It's worthless.

Same as the rest. Received the 2nd bottle before the 1st one was 1/3 used and then the policy is sketchy. Just cancelled 2/14 via email and am hoping to stop the supply. I am a dedicated natural body builder and found no difference in weight loss for a competition in April 09. Not worth $89.00 and now certainly not worth $180.00. Better Business Bureau is next for me too.

I've experienced the exact same situation as above #3. I actually called and e-mailed the very next morning after making the dreaded mistake of accepting this offer to request they cancel the order. I was told it had already been processed at the warehouse (which I'm starting to think is someones basement) but "they" or Cassandra who is the only person to respond from customer service were kind enough (haha) to give me this RMA# to write on the package when I received it and specifically told me in an email to write that number on the package and Return To Sender. I did this just as instructed and can you beleive they have no record of receiving it. Shocker - Of course not! Now that this has happened and I looked into their website more regarding returns it says you can't do Return To Sender but I have an email from them telling me to do this so I'll definatley fight it all the way. I am fuming mad over this...I'm also seriously considering having my credit card replaced with a new number so I don't have to deal with a recurring charge from these jerks!

I just have to reiterate what Doug said to Kristi....if the product worked so great for you....why DID you return it....or was it just because you wanted to tell us all about your incredible organizational skills? ;-)

In the interest of "fairness" I need to come back and say that after several emails back and forth, with day in between, they did finally credit my card. Not before going to great lenghts to explain how simple the return instructions were therefore implying that I must be an idiot (from their point of view) but none the less I have my money back! Good luck to everyone else! All I can advise is cancel with 13 days or the initial order placement if you don't want it and for God's sake if you return use a trackable means so you have proof even if they tell you to just "Return to Sender".

Ya wanna lose some inches, then get your target heart rate using a simple calculator online and do some cardio, then walk at an elevated position to cool down. Eat right and stop doing the McDonalds thing, ITS KILLING YOU, slowly but surely! Let me know how it works out for you. These major pill companies are making billions of people like you~

Ok, first I must say the stuff is junk. Doesn't work at all. Second I canceled my subscription 7 days after it began. Then I mailed it back and go figure they didn't receive it. Well today when I saw I had an 89.95 charge from them I decided I was going to call them. I sat on hold for 57 minutes listening to that crappy elevator music and not once did a rep come on phone. So I called my bank and disputed it. within hours my money was back in my account. if you are thinking of using it, DON'T and save yourself the trouble. I guess the weigh loss I am experienceing and have been for the last few years is slow but worth the wait. at least my natural weight loss doesn't charge me 90 bucks for nothing.

I tried to get an rma # and they wouldnt give it to me because I was a day to late.It looks like they go by the date they ship it out, not when you receive it.Very impossible cst service. Blamed me for not calling them earlier(because I did not receive product for a week,it was shipped out on a SAT.) If they want you to call them when you receive it,they should've noted it.Stay away from this company, FREE TRIAL(what a joke) I should of knowing better. Im going to the BBB.

Thank you so much for your reviews! I was seriously going to buy this product and I see now, it's like so many weight-loss products online... they get your credit card and boom- hassle-city! I do think a couple of the people reviewing positively work for or were paid by advesil.

I am another of the Scammed! I canceled by phone and left on a trip(airline pilot).Returned to find a charge for 90 some odd dollars and a bottle of auto shipped Avesil.Returned it with a code e-mailed to me and no refund.Just called and was told out of return window,which I had spoken to the agent about as returned to USA after their return date, even though had a code and told not an issue.Agent says she has nothing on her computer file allowing late return.Tuff!.Watch these folks as you are waisting money on useless product and dealing with dishonest company.

Does have anyone have another number to cancel this? I have been listening to elevator music for 30 minutes now...

I also emailed to request a cancelation number but haven't got one back yet... and it says without the number they will not process your cancelation... Has anyone sent it back without the cancelation number and not been charged?

This is one of those \'too good to be true\' things. I mean we all know that nothing in life is free, someone someplace has to pay for it. I guess that someone is all too many times the gullible customer.
Despite my better judgment, I was seconds away from ordering this product. Sorry for everyone\'s loss and bad experience with this company. However, I can not thank each of you enough for taking the time to post your comments. You all have saved me from an ill fait.

agree- this is a TOTAL scam. I emailed to cancel during my “expiration period” by emailing for their RMA number. I never received a response but my credit card was charged for the $89.95. I called and was told my email was recievied the day after my expiration date therefore it was not refundable. I disputed this but have no proof since it was via their WEBSITE! I will try to dispute the charge with my credit card company. Very arrogant customer service once they hook you. Useless product. Wish I would have read the negative reviews before considering. BUYERS BEWARE!!!
Please help spread the word before anyone else is fooled.

You can do it all on your own, you are built strong-just reach within yourself. Please read on. If you want to lose weight then knowing how many calories you eat and burn will be important. Here are some guidelines you can use.

The total calories that you should be consuming depend on whether you are a women or a man. It depends on your body structure and your activity level. So you need to make some adjustment on the numbers I present.

If you have been eating around 1800 calories per day you can slowly move your intake down to 1600. Work down from this level over a month's period to 1400 calories. Don't go below 1200 calories per day. Otherwise you can over stress your body.

If you have just started out and are eating 2400 calories, decrease your calories to 2000 or 2100. If you don't lose weight in 2-3 weeks reduce your calories lower. Over a month's time you can move down to 1600 calories and see if you start to lose weight. If you do, stay at this level.

It's not a good idea to make a drastic shift in your consumption of food since your body can react and get into a "starving mode." In this mode your body will store more fat making it difficult for you to lose weight.

Remember not to eat junk food. When you eat quality food, it takes less food for you to become satisfied as compared to eating junk food.

Protein, Carbohydrates, and Fat

There are many ideas about what combination or percentages you should eat of the various nutrients - protein, carbohydrates, and fat. I don't believe that exact percentages exist, which will provide weight loss and good health for all individuals. Each one of you will require different percentages depending on your weight, health, body structure, emotional make-up and a variety of other conditions. For this reason some diet programs work with some people and not with others.

One of best eating habit programs that will help you to lose weight is to eat:

* quality protein

* low glycemic carbohydrates

* quality fats

* high fiber

* high water consumption

Quality Protein - is essential for the body to survive. There 8 essential amino acids and 14 non-essential. Protein is used to regulate certain body processes by contributing to various chemical reactions and by creating a number of body chemicals.

Eating excess protein results in an acid body, which favors disease. Protein eaten alone causes a 25% increase in your metabolism. When combined with fat and carbohydrates there is only a 10% increase. What this means is that eating more protein and less fat and carbohydrates gives you a boost in metabolism.

It is recommended that around 30% - 35% of your eating habits consist of protein.

Carbohydrates - consist of simple and complex sugars. When carbohydrates are eaten they are broken down into sucrose, which is readily accepted by your cells. Sucrose is converted into energy in your cells. If you eat a lot of high glycemic carbohydrates, your bloodstream becomes overwhelm with sucrose. The excess sucrose in your cells will be converted to fat and stored.

Because most people have been adding weight eating high glycemic carbohydrates, it best to change your eating habits and decrease your intake of these carbohydrates. In general people have been eating 80% high glycemic foods (HighGF) and 20% low glycemic foods (LowGF.) You need to change that to 80% LowGF and 20% HighGF.

This means that you should limit eating foods like potatoes, bread, corn, pasta, muffins, and any flour products. HighGF encourages the storage of fat since the more sucrose you have in your blood, the more sucrose is escorted into your cells by insulin.

You need to concentrate on foods, which are LowGF. Many of these foods are vegetables with small amounts of carbohydrates and high fiber content.

LowGF discourages the storage of fat since less sucrose is in the blood and less is escorted into your cells.

Quality Fats - which are eaten with your meals, prevent sugars from moving quickly into your blood stream.

You need to eat more of the good fats. It's these fats that will help you lose weight. The good fats are omega 3, omega 6, and medium chain fatty acids, MCFA.

Here is the breakdown on the quantity of each type of fat that you should be eating. These percentages are what you should be working towards so that fats provide you with good health and help you keep your weight down.

* saturated fats 10%

* polyunsaturated fats 20%

* monounsaturated fats 60%

There you have it, the numbers and percentages of protein, carbohydrates, and fats that give you a balanced diet so that you can lose weight.

So funny to read these! I am always researching the latest and "greatest" diets and this one is just like the rest!!! I have spent a lot of money (and time) on diet pills just like these in the past and luckily have figured out (figured it out a few years ago) that the ONLY way to lose weight and feel great is to do what many people have said - maintaining my diet (doesn't necessarily mean eating all salads!) and exercise, regular exercise. There is no "cure" for being fat - just watching what one eats and maintaining a regular exercise regimen. Good luck folks! And I'm sorry you all got stuck in another one of the world's scams! One would think that someone out there would start regulating this better! These people that sell these pills are smart thieves!

the risk free trial is not risk free. if your 14 days end on the weekend and they are closed you cannot tell them that you want to cancel and they charge you anyway. very deceiving. and to add to it the product doesnt work. diet, exercise and avesil. lost absolutely nothing.

sorry to hear you all had such bad experiences with Avesil. I signed up for the 14-day trial in March and have used it consistently. I've lost 18 pounds since I started so I have to say I'm happy with the results.

Avesil's refund and return policy isn't much different than what you'd find with other online companies that offer trials. If you visit www.avesil.com and click on the Terms link, everything is right there...https://www.avesil.com/terms.php. So you don't even have to enter your credit card info before you find out how the program works.

So far the product has been working for me so I can't say I'm unhappy. As for the autoship stuff, you've just got to be careful and read before you buy.

I haven't tried this product yet, but I was considering it, especially because it offers a free trial, but now I think I won't try it. I do have some advice for anyone who is interested. Whenever I order something with a free trial, I automatically figure they're going to try to charge me again in the future so I just use a Visa/Mastercard gift card. Mine will only have about $20.00 on it and if they try to charge it, they're feelings will be hurt becuae I don't like companies trying to take advantage of consumers.If I like the product, I will re order it again from my real card.

Notice how it has the phone number, CLEAR instructions for cancelling, and for the idiot who asked "why would return something if it works well??" (in bad English no less), it states you have to return the bottle, even if it's empty!
Forget about if the product does or doesn't work (thought I'd try it, even if it didn't work). All of us are duped into buying products that don't work entirely as advertised. Millions of dollars are spent to conduct research on what makes people want to buy and consume products and there is some responsibility on the part of the consumer to do some research before spending their hard earned dough. In my opinion there exists BAD CONSUMERS. By not using the product correctly it may not work as intended (stop eating bad foods and exercise you lazy mofos!). I am only on day 2 of using the product, however I've been "dieting" for nearly 5 or 6 months - I don't remember and I don't keep good records - and have lost nearly 30 pounds. I will be cancelling the trial tomorrow so look out for my post. Oh, and for the idiot who so succinctly asked "who reads the packing slip,".....you're just an idiot.

PS, the website never states "free trail," it does however say in BIG LETTERS "risk-free," as in try it first and if you don't like it you won't be charged. Just follow the return instructions! (I'll eat my words if it really is difficult, though)

I've read all the negative reviews concerning the risk free trial period and the return policy. I also read the terms and conditions before I made the decision to go ahead and try it. Just to make sure I don't let the cancellation dates slip by me, I made a note of it on my board, just in case I am not satisfied and want to send it back. So I will soon find out how this saga will unfold. I will be posting again to let you guys no what the result is.

I am very sorry to hear of everyone's failed results with Avesil, and the fact it is being dubbed as a scam. I started this product about a week or so ago and have already felt the results in my clothing. I plan to step on the scale when I believe I have lost more than 5 lbs. This is exactly the jump start I needed.

I've been using Avesil for two weeks and am very happy with my results. 3lbs gone with Avesil, exercise and better eating.
I saw the part about the autoship program but decided to go with Avesil anyway. If you don't like how its working you do have time to call and cancel.
For everyone who felt nervous or jittery on Avesil...remember there is caffeine in this stuff so you could be reacting to that. If you drink coffee in the am and taking Avesil before breakfast, you're probably just over doing it ;-)

To everyone who is still being charged for a product that you cancelled. Call you CC company or bank & report your card lost IMMEDIATELY!!!! Do not delay!! That way you know for sure that no more charges from this co will hit your card......I once made reservations at a Las Vegas Hotel & gave them my CC to hold the room. I had to cancel 1 day before my trip. Knowing they were going to charge my card for 1 night, I simply reported it lost. Problem solved, No charges.

So in short Avesil does infact state FREE TRIAL on their website as depicted from their website and here in the reviews by you. I have to say for someone most likely an employee like the others who wrote positive reviews you sure don't know how to turn things around on people. Get your information straight next time douche bag.

Oh and to everyone "The key to weight loss is diet and exercise, if your not seeing results then you just don't want it that bad (i.e exercise harder, eat even smarter) For the price this product would cost you a month you could finance your own total gym or buy the food that is very good for you. Word of advice when shopping. Stay out of the aisles and work your way from produce to meat and then to dairy. Only go into the aisles for bottled water, frozen veggies, and other healthy edible items. Yes you can go in for soap and toothpaste cause hygiene is still important. Another tip, Brush your teeth when you have a craving for a snack, chew a piece of mint gum, or pop a listerine strip in your mouth. This often causes an effect that makes you not want to eat for a good 20 minutes which would result in the loss of that craving. Also drink a glass of water if you are hungry. The body can last up to 2 weeks without food but don't starve yourself. When eating salad stay away from Iceberg, its just water. Darker greens like romaine are what you want. And don't waste your money on fat free dressing. Instead get a low fat (not light) as the key ingrediant in unlocking the nutrients in salad happens to be fat itself (yeah i know right take a college level health class )

In fact if your going to spend a hundred dollars just spend it on your local community college and take a health class. My wife has had the motivation and desire to lose weight after that class (harrisburg area community college) she eats healthy and no longer gets fast food snacks. She is even took up a fitness class because of the health class to learn how to work out better.

Now reducing your calories, eating healthier food, exercising better, and just good old plain determination still aren't giving you the effect you desire there is only 1 FDA approved weight loss program and it actually does work and is nationally approved by people like you and myself. Though I strongly suggest against using it because old fashion is the best policy IMO. You feel better knowing you did it all by yourself. But if you must know. Use Alli. Though the side effect you may hear about is infact orange colored oily poop that can be like having the runs if you don't follow the instructions. My wife tried it for a while and lost a couple pounds (about 3 weeks taking it) then she stopped it and since dieting and exercising the right way for her, she has lossed an additional 5lbs since stopping. She started at 127 lbs and is now down to 118 this very day I swear ;;o.o;; cross my heart and hope to die stick a needle in my eye. All this in 2.5 months she has lost 9 lbs. This is from shear determination (-3 lbs from alli assistance) the side effect of alli i guess is what gave her the motivation to eat better, and thank god cause man that shit stunk(but not as bad as i'm making it sound)

Wow. I am a little surprised. I am NOT an employee of the company selling this product (I work on a farm in WI). I am actually very HAPPY with this product. I've been taking it for a week and it is the first product (and I've tried a couple others) that actually suppressed my appetite. It was just the push I needed to get myself going. And I haven't experienced any ill side-affects from it either.

Please note that this isn't a scam. It tells you right on the free trial order page that you will be charged if you like it and do nothing to cancel it. Don't be upset with the company, be upset with yourself for not reading the fine print.

I too cannot afford the money right now so I am going to cancel and send my bottle back. But when I can afford it, I will definitely order more from them.

DON'T ORDER THE PRODUCT IF YOU ONLY WANT THE FREE TRIAL!!!!

I thought I had 14 days to try and decide. After trying for 12 days, I pulled out the packing slip to call to cancel and that is when I realized that the slip indicated the last day to cancel being 2 days prior. I immediately called the toll free number but calling from California (3 hrs later), I got the recording suggesting to use the website to cancel... so I did including emailing to ask why I was given less than 14 days to try. I did not receive any confirmation of cancellation or answer to my question. Today I called to finally speak to a person and found out that I am already charged for the second bottle and it should be arriving in mail anytime.
The customer service person kept stating that there has been no report of malfunction with the website and did not see any record of my email question or cancellation attempts.

I trully believe that this type of FREE TRIAL deals are never FREE... actually is PRICEY because some how it is set up for us to fail to effectively cancel. By the time we take the time to confirm cancellation, the second shipment has happened and the charge is on the way.

The product is possibly effective but I just couldn't tolerate the caffeine in the pills.

I have been exercising for the last couple of months and am losing weight consistently. I wear a sauna belt around my belly. I have dropped from a size 12 to a 10 and depending on maker and style I can wear an 8. I am a 28yr old, African American, mother of a 4yr old that never lost her baby fat and kept adding fat.

I cut out the sugar. Increased my whole wheat intake, increase my protein, started eating more lean meats, and more fish (talapia and salmon). I eat more fresh fruits and vegetables. I took salt out of my diet.

I wanted to loose more weight faster so I was looking at this diet pill, but I guess what I am doing is working so thanks for all you comments.

Krystal hit the nail on the head--NEVER USE YOUR REAL CREDIT CARD. ALWAYS ALWAYS ALWAYS use a Gift Credit for these types of purchases--that way there can be NO RECURRING CHARGES if you keep the balance on the Credit card under $20.

I have done MANY of these Scam trials and have ALWAYS come out the winner BECAUSE of this. I really DO receive Free Trials because they can NEVER recharge my account.

We should ALL do this and teach these kinds of marketers a lesson!

I work out a ton so this product may or may not be helping. Nevertheless I think it is a scam as I got my 2nd bottle before the 1st one was even 1/3 used and then emailed them and they said I couldn't return it even though it had never been opened and was sealed in plastic. I was charged $89.95 which is crazy. This product also contains a potentially dangerous ingredient. I'm moving on to other products and suggest you do the same..

Wow thank you guys for posting these reviews. I was considering ordering the free trial but like many had been scammed before and found numerous charges on my cards from websites that apparently come with the free trials as well as several annoying phone calls from people that the company had sold my information to. I never ordered anything without looking at the terms and conditions again!
I was looking for something that would complement my diet and exercise but i see that most places are scams and i would be better off just working harder. Thanks again for your reviews!

Hey folks! Don't be fooled by yet another worthless diet pill. The great part about being in the US is that the government FORCES these companies to declare the ingredients in their products. The ingredients of Avesil are Garcinia cambogia, Green Tea and Caffeine anhydrous. Why spend $90 to see if this works. I bet if you went down to your local vitamin store, picked up some Carcinia Gambogia pills, green tea pills, and some No-Doze caffeine pills and took them at the same time, you will get exactly what Avesil promises (and you can even control the dosage of each ingredient). Save your self some money and don't let yourself be scammed by this or any other company.

If their is an over-the-counter diet pill that you're curious about trying, read the ingredients and go out and buy them separately. Don't let them fool you into thinking that theirs diet pill is the only one that will work. Bull crap. That would be like saying that water from China is the only water that will keep you alive!

I was reading about avesil and I was thinking about ordering a some from the company. I am so glad I came here and read these comment because now I know that this would have been a waste of money. One diet pill however that really does work is adipex. My doctor prescribed adipex for me after I had my son and gained a lot of weight. I lost 20 pounds the first month I also walked and ate healthy. If you are really interedted in losing weight talk to your doctors and ask them about adipex it worked wonders for me. And next time dont order anything offline just read about it then talk to your doctors about it and see what they have say. I stick with going to my doctor and with adipex

yep i've been gotten by these people and their "risk free trial". I ordered the product thinking it was a 30 day trial and within that 30 days I could cancel and not get charged the $89.95, I realized today I was wrong when I saw my bank account statement. How can they say 14 days and they start that 14 days the day you actually place the order? I received my order 7 days after placing the order. The lady just told me on the phone they give 17 days from the day you order. She also told me that if you need more time for the free trial you can call and request it! With as screwy as these people are I dont see that. Currently I am sitting on the phone waiting to talk to somebody in charge haha. The lady I just spoke with I talked to earlier and omg she is rude. She even said they wont send out another email verifing that I cancelled this product. She said "I cant its in the computer and they are sent out automatically after you cancel". She put me on hold and kept clicking over to see if she could hear me on the phone, finally came back and said there is not a supervisor available so she took down my number and said she'd have them call me. I told her i'd call back and she was just like "well you will just get me on the phone again". I already sent a message to the BBB about what has happened and so hopefully they will help figure something out. Hell even if not the entire amount, most of it is better then nothing!

First of all, Itikuo, you are an idiot. To have that many errors in your rant which goes on to suggest that people who want to use a diet aid to loose weight are in need of a college education is ridiculous and obviously the work of someone who should get one himself.

Secondly, I am not an employee but I have been using avesil. I don't feel jittery, but I am a caffeine drinker already. I have noticed that although I haven't changed my diet and exercise routine I have been loosing a bit more weight than normal though not nearly 3x as much. I wouldn't ever pay $89.00 for this stuff and I'm aware of the catastrophe of "free trials" so I went on ebay and bought my bottle for 30.00 with free shipping. I am entering the last two weeks before the wedding that I've been loosing weight for and I am nearly to my goal!

My advice: Diet and exercise are key but Avesil might help boost what diet and exercise does for you. Just avoid the company that's marketing it and go to a reputable seller on Ebay. :)

I ordered the trial offer and did read the packing slip. Called this morning (9-17-09) to cancel. Received the rma number and will be sending it back today. Hopefully, they will not charge my credit card. I will be watching for the charges.

I had lost 5lbs prior to taking the avesil. I only took it for two days as it did give me headaches. I really don't think the product is much good. I did not notice a change in my appetite. I have been doing fine on my own. Should never have ordered this junk.

I'm on my 3rd bottle. I'm 51 yrs old and have worked out and watched my diet for years. Since taking Avesil, I finally have the 6 pak abs I've been sweating for for yrs.

I too did not read the fine print. After seeing two auto charges on my bank statement on line I knew I had been had. The second bottle was returned with an RMA number many weeks ago but no refund, no answer to numerous ems and phone calls never get answered either. I have the original ¨free¨ bottle with an unbroken seal if anyone is interested.

I ordered avesil for two members of my family and 30 seconds after hitting the order button realized I missed the fine print. I call CS to cancel and of course that wasn't possible. I immediately got 2 RMA numbers. My account was charged for the S&H within 2 minutes of the call. Received a call shortly after to confirm my orders, and I absolutely requested the orders not be confirmed. Received product, and I followed the return process to the letter and decided that I'd better add a "receipt of confirmation" to the post office charges so there is a record that Avesil did in fact receive the product back. Post Office shows they received it 9 days after I ordered it initially but still they billed my CC. In fact,two weeks earlier than the rep advised that it would be if the product wasn't returned. I called and they only agreed to refund b/c I had the confirmation #s from the post office (Avesil showed no record of the return.) So, those charges were removed and was assured the acct had been cancelled and no more charges would appear. This morning I had another $180. worth of charges on my account but from "Dermapril" Never heard of them, never ordered from them. Turns out they are the same company as Avesil.Called them. They have no record of me and advised me to call the Avesil CS. I do that and am told that they show the product coming back but never "noted" it. So....the rep credited me again and assured me that the account was again cancelled. I am not trusting them. Cancelled my card and having a new on issued. My bank did say that a credit looks like it may go through in 2 days but that I should follow up if the money isn't back in the account. The rep (Andy Harris) at Dermapril told me he earns $110,000 a year working for them. Like I believe that line of ----.Told that to the rep at Avesil who laughed b/c she knows AH. Works in the same building. Not making that kind of money. Google Earth the satellite image of the Dermapril & Avesil customer care headqaurters. What a joke. Looks like garages in a slummy section of the city. Not a pristine lab with a up to code shipping dept! I got suckered but hopefully will get entirely credited except for the original S&H. I was charged the $89.95 from my account before I even received the product to try. So much for the trial period. I do not recommend this at all. Anythime some one can charge your account and not refund is a big RISK....

I actually lost a few pounds on Avesil, but because the company is such a scam with "free trial" turning into a $98 bill on my credit card,without my permission, and "no returns accepted" on the package. I will never deal with them again. JUST DON'T DO IT!!!!

It's working for me...Some of fat asses need to do more than take 3 days worth of pills and lay and or your fat asses.

:-( Very disappointed. I was offered a free 14 day trial. By the time I got the product I had 10 days to try it. They billed me 3.95 for the free trial. Then when I called before the trial was up I was charged another 6.99. I sent avesil back and ups took the package thru 15 states before it reached Miami. WOW!!!! Now I was charged 89.99 because it wasnt back before the 19th of october but I had the product back to them before my trial was up> I got the product on October 6 and I ordered it on Sept. 29. Now I have to fight the bank to have a new card issused and the charges reversed. What a scam.

If you want to try a product, but worry about charges hitting your credit card just buy a visa gift card. Large charges can't be made on if you keep the balance low and you can try the "risk" free trials and actually obtain it risk free!

Someone else had suggested this, but thought I would mention it again. Save yourself the headache and out smart the company!

Hi every one.
This is the 21th century before you buy anything take a little time to do your research it will save you time and money in any situation. There is no other way to weight loss other than eating less and execrising more. The basic science to weight loss is as simple as ABC.

I was a bit worried about ordering this but thought I'd give it a try anyway. I ordered it online and it took about 12 days of the 14 day free trial to get to me. I opened the package, read the instructions for returning it, emptied the bottle, kept the pills and the next day went online to get the RMA # to return the empty bottle.
I got a confirmation email from Avesil a few days later and was never charged. As long as you follow the directions exactly as they say you shouldn't have a problem returning it within the 14 day trial period which begins the day that you order it.
I tried the pills for about a week but didn't notice any difference. I still have a lot left and plan to try them again.
You really have to be careful with these companies and follow the directions EXACTLY to get your refund. I don't think it's a scam but I think a lot of people don't take the time to read the fine print and that's how they make all their money.

Oh man.. do I feel DUMB DUMB DUMB :oops: The website that linked me to Avesil was "supposed" to be a diet review website and they recommended Avesil as the best product out there. Talked about all the reputable scientific research the company had done etc etc. So, I clicked the link they conveniently provided. I was immediately suckered in because the Avesil site had a "quick, order now or this offer will expire" box flashing at me with a time counter counting down and giving me 4 or so minutes to complete the order. Not enough time to read anything. I know, I know, I'm an idiot!!! >-(
I'm going to take out enough cash to last a few days and then call my bank and report the card lost. I'm perfectly willing to pay the shipping expenses and would even be willing to pay the $89 to see if the product works but I DO NOT want to have a recurring payment for something that might not work for me nor do I want the hassle of jumping through their ridiculous hoops to return it on time. Also, I noticed a teeth whitening product on the website and I'm worried I may find myself paying for this also. So, I think the best thing to do is change my account info so they can't do that. Wish me luck. If the product works and there are a very few people who seem to think it does then I'll find it on E-bay.

This product did not do anything for me. I am so glad I only had to pay shipping which was less than $2. I have tried lots of different kinds of diet pills and this one does absolutely nothing for me. Maybe it works for some but I suspect the way this company makes its money is not by producing a good product, but by making it so difficult to get your money back or to even be charged in the first place most people will in the end pay for something they don't want.

:-( This website and the customer service is a scam! I got a UPS return label from them, to return the product and I did, unopened and unused! They still charged me $89.95. They wil not return my money. They steal your money even if the product is returned unopened and unused!! The customer service said its in their terms and conditions BUT I see nothing about unused product...I cancelled the day after I ordered it! I guess you have to deliver it yourself to make sure it gets there on time, which I was never told, in my e-mail saying my order/membership was cancelled.I didnt know ordering something and never trying it could cost me so much, how can a company rob consumers like this? its not right!

I haven't tried Avesil but I did launch an investigation when a "diet website" rated this product its favorite diet aid with a link to the site where you can buy it. Do you all know what an affiliate program is? It is a way by which the owner of one website can make commissions from purchases made of a product to which visitors can link via their web sites. A code goes to the product company saying "this order came in through the link on so-and-so's website" and BAM, so-and-so just made a few bucks of totally passive profit. I hope I have educated some of you about this widely used practice. It will make you think twice about glowing testimonials with links to buy something.

This product is a scam!! I ordered the 14 day supply and cancelled one minute later after reading that they would automatically deduct $89.95 for a monthly supply. My checking account was immediately charged $3.95 for the 14 day supply and $6.99 to return a product I had never received because I had canceled my order!! I called Avesel, they refunded my money and assured me that my account was canceled, but on exactly the 15th day of my original order, they deducted $89.95 from my checking account!! I don't trust this business and am now closing my checking account to prevent them from deducting any additional monies from my account. I would never recommend that anyone buy this product. This b

I am throughly freaked out by these reviews and mad at myself because during a last minute thing I ordered some...eek. So I went online to their site and cancelled my order. I did it all online AND they gave me a return confirmaiton and everything...it is a Sunday so the office isnt open. As soon as I get it in the mail, it is going back! Ill never do that again!

Rip off. My free trial cost me $180. Your 14 day trial is from the day you order, not 10 days later when you get the product. Because I didn't cancel the day I received it, they billed $90 for my free sample. Since you have to give them a credit card number for the S&H they can charge however they want to. Then they sent a second order. They do NOT take returns. They say to call for an authorization number but when you do they tell you that after they bill you it's yours.

umm maybe she returned it because she didn't want to pay 89.99...that's pretty steep cost for beauty.

I am shocked about these reviews, I have not tried Avesil still waiting for it, but any time there is a free trial on line, you can look at the web site and see the customer service number and call and order a bottle of it, if you don't like it call them again and return it. I called and they cancelled all credit info and sent me a confirmation e-mail and gave me a bottle at a 50% discounted price. I called again to double check and gave my confirmation number and it was true! They cancelled my info and only will charge me again if I call again and give them credit info again. Why people even order products like this with out directly speaking to somebody is beyond me, they handled me just fine. They also did tell me that if the product is not working as intended I may send it back for a full refund. Maybe diet and exercise is enough, Dr.'s have been saying this for years, the reason I decided to try this product is because I have a friend who used it for three months and lost 30 lbs. along with a reasonable diet and walking 4 days a week, which is what people should do anyway. I am not a salesman for Avesil a mother and full time business owner who would like to shed about 10 lbs. and I do exercise and eat right but hey this sounds like something fun to try, if it doesn't work I'm out $44.00, I would have spent that on something else. PLEASE try this product. I would not lie to any of you. It will allow you to have more energy and keep you going no matter your weight. It is called Ventilean. Only use it if you are going to the gym or need a bump to motivate you. My Review
I had my pre workout shake 1 hour and 30 minutes before my workout, 30 minutes earlier then usual. I wanted to take Ventilean on an almost empty stomach even thought the paper says it is good to take with food.

I got home from work at 8:00 and got ready to hit the gym. I took one packet (2 servings) of Ventilean at 8:10. It has a strong taste with a cinnamon kick. Please note that they use a liquid delivery system. Anyone who has put a caffeine pill in their mouth and let it sit for a bit knows how nasty it tastes. From looking at the blend, they did a very good job of masking the chemical tastes. While driving to the gym, I noticed that I was getting buzzed. I checked my phone and it was 8:18.

Buy the time I got done with my 2 warm-up sets, I was sweating like a madman. I also felt over stimulated. His only lasted for about 10 minutes. After that everything was smooth sailing. My energy levels and focus was insane. I had a longer then usual workout (1h 40min) and still felt like I can keep going. At this point I was completely drenched which I liked very much.

Overall Thoughts
I was very pleased with the overall effectiveness of this product. It is 11:20 as I am writing this and I feel fine, no crash at all. I think that Pharmagenx put a lot of thought into their blend. The taste (which I did not think it was that bad) and lingering after-taste was the only issue that I can see a few people complain about but come on, we are not using this product as a tasty treat.

I find it interesting that most comments here seem to be about the free trial and expecting to order something from a company just to get it for free. Whether it works or not for you how can you say that it does or does not work after using it for only a few days?

If buying a bottle of pills for $90.00 dollars is going to break you then that’s too bad. But you all seem to feel it is just fine to order something you think is free, keep the product, send back the empty bottle and basically screw the company.

Using nothing other than cutting my food intake I went from 285 down to 199 in about three years, I’m six foot two inches tall so 200 is not a bad weight for me however I ordered a months supply of these pills to see if what they do, if anything.

I plan on giving it a fair trial of say three months before I decide whether they help or not. If after buying three or four bottles I decide they don’t work then I won’t buy anymore. Yes, I will be out a couple hundred bucks if they don’t help but so what… I spend that amount just going out on the town for one night.

As for all you people canceling your credit card and getting another one because they try to get you for another bottle; what is up with that? Just call your credit card company and tell them to block any future charges from the company, no big deal there.

I had to comment because it just seems strange to me how many of you think it is ok to screw a company because you think you will scam them by getting a product for free but then when you are asked to pay for it you accuse the company of ripping you off.

I don’t sell pills and have nothing to do with this company in question but I do deal face to face with the public and have done so for some thirty five years now, many people are always trying to get something for free, free service, free products, a company can not stay in business giving what they do away for free. Why would you order something like a diet pill only expecting to use it for fourteen days? Sort of like going to the doctor and finding out you need a high blood pressure pill and then telling the doctor they don’t work after using them for a week.

Maybe the problem is not that they want $90.00 for something that may or may not do anything; maybe the problem is that poor people living on an income of only a few hundred dollars a month and food stamps are playing with their computers to look for more free handouts? Probably the same people that don’t pay the rent on time and then blame the landlord because the rent is too high. I feel sorry for you if $90.00 will break you!

avesil is a TOTAL rip off. They send you a product and then will charge your credit card $89.95 even when you send the product back unopened. They are a total scam company.

What was i thinking. Easily impressed by the hype. That's it, I ordered today, called an cancelled my card as I didn't want to mess with the drama. If all of this us true, the I did the right thing. I'm 5'10 and a size 2 and all I wanted to do was stay at my current weight of 129. Now I believe the workouts and bland food are worth it.

I selected the free trial period but canceled it 10 min after signing up after reading this. I already called my bank, had the pending shipping charge removed from my bank account and had my bank card canceled with a new one coming in 5-7 days. Ill go without my debit card for a few days if it means avoiding $90 from being deducted on a monthly basis. Ill just stick with diet and exercise!

I was led to Avesil by the glowing reviews of another website and did not continue to research the product until after I ordered. I called customer service to cancel literally ten minutes after ordering online and the woman tried to tell me that the product had already been processed and I should try the product before making a cancellation. I told her that there's no way it has been shipped out in ten minutes and was finally able to get her to "cancel" my order. She promised me a cancellation email that I have not received yet so hopefully I won't be receiving anything more than the shipping and handling charge. I agree that people should have tested this product more than a couple days before judging it however I think the possibility of being charged automatically month by month with a small chance of ever getting our credit card numbers back from this company scared most of us into trying to back out of this as quickly as possible.

I was looking for an online review of another diet product and came across dietspotlight.com, which seemed to have independent reviews of many products and rated Avesil the highest. I went to Avesil's site and ordered their product to be shipped to me for $3.95, understanding that I had 14 days to try it for free before being charged $89.95. Only after I had done so did I read this forum. I immediately went to the Avesil website and canceled my "subscription." I also got instructions for returning the product. My pills came in the mail within a few days and I called that day to say that I would be returning it and got the name of their customer service rep, and also got an RMA# from her. I then packed it up as instructed, and took it to UPS, where they ran a shipping confirmation and sent me an email when it had arrived at Avesil headquarters. Avesil also sent me an email saying that my subscription had been cancelled and they'd received my return and would not be charging me. I decided not to try this product based on the reviews, and didn't want to get caught paying for a month's supply. I will post again if Avesil does, in fact, charge my card, but at this point all seems well. I do appreciate reading about other's experiences, and I recommend using UPS to send it back (cost $8.81 to ship, but it's better than $90!) UPS will track the package and send a confirmation when it arrives so you do have some documentation. Thanks, everyone, for the great tips. I did not actually try Avesil, so I can't say how it works, but several reviewers mentioned issues with the caffeine content. Since I am sensitive to caffeine, I decided it wasn't for me.

I just wanted to say thank you for all the comments about this product being a scam,I actually was just on the phone with a rep. and gave her my card number while I started reading the reviews. WTF? Awesome!

NOTHING very credible here except the theme of trying to get something for nothing. Unless I am mistaken (there is a lot of reading here on this post, and I may have dozed off for a bit), no mention of any results, neither positive or negative, AFTER the recommended 12 week period. Just a reoccurring theme of trying to get something for nothing.

I have NO affiliation with this company, just a fat-@ss trying to not be a fat-@ss the easy way by the use of a few pills a day and some moderate exercise. If it works, fine; if not, then I will terminate usage and write-off the $90 per month it took to figure out that I REALLY need to NOT depend on a gimmick. But at no point in time did I EVER expect to become a non-fat-@ss for free. Reality dictates that it just does not work that way. WAKE UP PEOPLE!

This is a disgusting and dishonest business. They charge your credit card before the trial period is over. They are essentially running a scam and using this product to enable them to do so. Your credit card company will claim you signed a contract by placing an order for the on-line free trial offer. Suggest the affected complain to the Attorney General in Florida and the state in which they live. Somebody needs to stop these thieving liars.

I just read gpj's review (#107). I ran along about the same route. Ordered it after reading the reviews on the dietspotlight.com site and then found this site. :( After a sleepless night, I called Avesil first thing in the morning and found that their offices don't open until 9 am eastern time. So, I went back to their website and went thru their online cancellation process, receiving an email that my cancellation was complete and it included the RMA authorization. I called at 9 am, sat on hold for about 15 minutes before speaking with a customer service rep who assured me that my account HAD been cancelled. She sent me an email, verifying it had been cancelled. I thought it was all taken care of and then I received the trial bottle 2 days later. As soon as I received the package, I repacked it all immediately in a box and took it to the post office to send it out by certified mail with a return authorization request that showed it had been received. In the box, I included the original packing slip (made a copy for myself) and the email with the RMA#....and crossed my fingers. I emailed them several times and only received an automated response, never an actual response. I got the card back, no signature just a date stamp, but it had been received a week before my trial was due to end. I was still nervous. So far, so good. It's been 5 days since the end of my 14 day trial period and I have only been charged the initial $1.50 for shipping my trial bottle and it cost me a little over $8 to send it back by certified mail.
I agree with gpj. I read everyone's suggestions. I can't use caffeine either so this product would have been a disaster for me. I only need to lose about 20 pounds so I guess I'll stick to the diet and exercise routine!;-)

I read the reviews and ordered the trial, received the one bottle for 89.00 and then stopped my order. I called, and they cancelled it happily, no complaints and no issues... I'm with Barry, nothing is for free...Do you think all the food that made everyone fat was free? noooooo, so just like that you pay for what you get. I've lost 9 lbs in 7 weeks without changing anything...well, I don't eat as much because I'm not craving foods all day long like before...It works, and you guys that are complaining about price, don't! well... i see that most of you are complaining about the process and the charges rather then the pill so im glad i read this site. i did want to try it, but rather then order from them i got it off of a store on ebay for much cheaper then the site ... and you can then purchase a bottle only when you want or need it.

OK...So I just ordered this stuff and now I am pretty terrified! I am sick to death of working out and wanted to try something new. I am really hoping that my results aren't "typical." lol!


I figure this is cheaper than lipo! I'm pretty thin now, but have no desire to not be! I'm trying to be sexy in my wedding dress!

It appears that so many of us still believe in the 'try something great for free' ploy but it's a sham. Listen up - if you feel the need to try this product after reading all of these reviews just be aware that when you return the product you need to return it with a tracking number. The 14 day trial enrollment period actually begins the day you place the order! It doesn't matter that it may take 1 week to get the product. So do the math and think twice about doing business with a company that can't even stand behind formulating a good return policy.

I hope you guys know some of the peo-le reviewing Avesil on this site actually work for the company that manufactures Avesil. I will not waste my time with this product!

I need to lose 10 lbs and just cant seem to budge even a single pound. I have a severely distorted back issue which deters me from intense exercise. This is why I gave Avesil a try. I definately would not throw this product under the bus! After 2 weeks, I have found that I'm not focused on food all day long bc my appetite is controled and I do have alot more energy. Two additional pluses for me are that since I started taking Avesil, I have been sleeping like a log and my bowels are now regular! Since hitting menopause, these have been huge issues for me to stay asleep all night. The negatives of this product for me are that I have yet to take the reccommended doseage (2 pills 3 times/day) bc 2 pills together give me a headache. Not a migraine or anything but enough to be noticable. I am taking 4 pills/day and staggering them. One at 5:30am, one at 7am, one at 10:30am and one at 1pm. Seriously, these were the times of day that I used to be frantic for food. I am overweight bc I eat too much and too often, thats the bottom line. Anyway,my slacks are a bit looser in the waistline (more comfortable)and I am feeling much more ALIVE!Because i'm not taking the normal doseage, I cancelled the auto ship piece of the free trial...I will order as needed. Hey $90 is alot but just think what you'd spend on Nutrisystem or Jenny Craig.You'd be lucky to get away w/ that for a weeks worth of food so everything's relative.Hope this was helpful

Tried the product and found no difference in appetite or energy. The extra caffeine made me jiddery even though I stopped drinking any drinks that contain caffeine. Side effects, I am restless, sleepy because I can't sleep, have an upset stomach. Have taken the product for exactly 9 days and feel terrible. Have not lost any weight at all even though I exercise regularly. I do not recommend it. I am trying to return Avesil within the time frame given so my credit card won't be charged. Let's see how that goes. Take heed, the trial period is only 10 days.

I did read the fine print and knew from purchasing another product this way that the trick is to make sure you right away request extra time for the trial and write it down when to call to cancel.

I did this. What was interesting was the date I was told was 3/20. The date the customer service person said was the 3/19. I said I called on Saturday the 20th and the office the recording stated hours of operation were M-F 9-5. So I called the following Monday on the 22nd. The customer representative repeatedly stated she was there on Saturday. I needed to be persistent and stated a few times -- the 800 number indicates otherwise and perhaps she would like to listen. At that point she gave me the RMA number to return the product and cancel my account. I am sure this is the way they are coached to handle this. But to insist about the 800 number and state she was there all day -- yikes!
The product did not work at all. I do not know what had it work for others -- but not for me. I did have alittle more energy -- but as far as impacting my metabolism -- had no results.

I have to let everyone know what dangerous experiences I have I had after using Avesil.

Since using Avesil I have been to the emergency room twice in a roll this week already. First time, after taking Avesil, I had breathing difficulty and felt like I was going crazy with heart feeling pressured and getting extremely anxious and panicking. I couldn't stop crying and felt really out of my character to act so crazy in public. And just this morning, my heart was aching so bad it woke me from sleep and I had to call 911 to be taken to hospital. I am a young, healthy 23 year old girl with no previous medical problems, and this is the first time I have felt my heart feeling this way. When it happened, I felt extremely short of breath and almost like someone strangling me, and it'd occur every 3 minutes with intense reactions. I was taken to the hospital where they had to give me injections to calm the anxiety along with other tests.

The point I am making by writing this review is that consider if this will be right for you after reading it. Life is truly too precious, if you want to lose weight, go and exercise and eat less. That is the only way you can do it. Don't be like me, foolishly thinking that by eating this pill is going to effortlessly lose it. You won't. Don't joke around with your health. I certainly have learnt my lesson, and hope this experience can tell you to be aware.

This is more than a SCAM....this is dishonesty at it's finest. I just got off the phone with the "customer service rep" at Avesil. Not only was I called a liar, but I was also called at b---h. Not only will I file a complaint with the BBB, but my attorney has been contacted as well.

I can' speak for the return policy because after reading all the responses I immediately reported my credit card lost. But the product actually worked for me as far as suppressing my appetite. I haven't weighed myself to see if I lost any weight, but I know I feel better working out and I am less hungry. Also, I planned on getting the free trial and cancelling all along that's why I didn't continue with the product but I do beleive it works.

I ordered Avesil last month and I found it didn't really work. I would take the recommended dosage and I work out 5 days per week. Don't have a huge amout to lose, but thought... hey! I'll try it. Why not? Yesterday was the deadline for my trial period. I went onto the website, cancelling through the customer service link and received my RMA#.

Well, there is a pending charge of $89.95 in my checking account! I contacted Avesil and they "mysteriously" don't have record of my RMA# and stated that I DID NOT cancel on time. I read the RMA# to the very unhelpful/rude customer service rep and she said she had no record of the number. After 17 minutes I got FED UP with her BS, so I hung up.

I called the fraud department of my bank explaining the situation to them and they are going to handle it on my behalf. I will not be responsible for the $89.95. KEEP YOUR CONFIRMATION EMAILS. CONTACT YOUR BANK AND SEE IF THEY CAN HELP YOU!

DO NOT ORDER THIS PRODUCT! There are so many over the counter products at your local GNC, Walmart or drug store that you can purchase instead of ordering over the internet. AND.. if you don't like the product, you can return it to the store! For those people who read these comments keep in mind... if you like the product and it works for you, terrific! But, if you are like me and you find it's nothing special and it's not really working; DON'T ORDER IT. You will be ripped off. This product is indeed a scam. They must pay people to write all the great reviews all over that you see because let me tell you this has been a nightmare.

1. I applied for the product on 3/26/2010
2. I didn't receive it till 4/01/2010
3. The '14 day free trial' ended on 4/09/2010

This obviously is not a lot of time to try the product and supposedly send it back.. but anyway.

4. By 04/07/2010 I had GAINED 3 pounds.
5. I started calling to get the *RMA Code 4/7
6. No one answered. Left message.
7. Called back 6 times on the 7th. No answer.
8. Called back on the 8th.. see above.
9. Called back on the 9th.. see above.
10. The 9th passes and now I am 'outside my trial period' so I am out $90.

So I know the best way to diet it to eat right and exercise, but I needed something to give me more energy though, so that is when I decided to try Avesil. I bought it before I read the bad reviews about the nightmares everyone was having after they got their free-trial and them being charged the full price. Well I got my trial yesterday and then went online and canceled my order got my RMA# and Priority Mailed (which is 2 days) the bottle back (empty) with the RMA# on the outside of the envelope back to the address they said to send it too! I also put a delivery of confirmation on it to make sure that it was received.
I took just one pill yesterday in the afternoon and did notice quiet a difference in my energy. I only took half the dose because Im not a caffeine taker and was afraid I'd get the jitters. I had no problem going to sleep that night either. I took 2 pills this morning and felt energized and had no jitters. I've taken 2 at lunch and still feel great! I'm going to exercise and see if I start losing weight like the Avesil site says you do (states you notice weight loss within 10 days) Im trying to lose weight gained from my last pregnancy.
I will post back to see if I get charged. I will also post back to let everyone know how the pill works. :-[]

I hope others learn from all these reviews. Avesil did not work for me, but I missed the 14-day trial deadline. So, I'm stuck with a $95 bill for a product I don't want. I called to see if there was any way to resolve this, but they wouldn't budge.

Their business model appears to be based on this scam. The idea behind most trials is that once you try the product you'll be willing to buy it. If not, the company generally doesn't charge you; the goal was to get you to try the product, not to scam you. Avesil has a different business model. Their model is based on tricking enough people by the trial period. It wouldn't surprise me in the least if most of their revenues came from these single sales (canceled after the first order), not long-term subscriptions. Avoid this company. Find a company that has the confidence to stand behind its products. >-(

I did want to share that the companies policy may have changed I did 14day trial and decided this product was too spendy for me so called cust service number (there was a long wait) and cancelled I recieved a confirmation email and was instructed by cust service rep and email not to return product and have not been charged since. I do use prepaid credit cards for these kind of online purchases on the off chance they go horribly wrong tho. But all in all besides the long wait on hold wasn't that painful of a experience.

DO NOT ORDER THIS JUNK!!! It does not work at all. They are very deceptive in their tactics. I too am on the way to reporting them to the BBB.

I signed up online, I cancelled online, I got the RMA# from cancelling online, I sent the bottle back as instructed, and not a glitch anywhere. I still take the Avesil but I bought the second bottle on eBay for $30. So far, we have increased energy, get fuller faster, and no jitters. I haven't seen a change yet, but we're still sticking with it. Since we get fuller faster, we're now having to watch our serving sizes so we don't get over-full! Probably taking the pills with a full glass of water and eating smaller servings will do the job. I'll be ordering a third bottle soon! :-D

I tried to cancel the next day after placing the order, after reading these horror stories. They told me that it wasn't a good idea. Not only do you need to cancel within fourteen days of placing the order, but the product needs to be returned to the warehouse within fourteen days of canceling the order. WTF!!! So, it's not a good idea to cancel to early, before I even have received the product, because it might not arrive in time for me to send it back within fourteen days. And, of course, if it arrives in thirteen days and I forget to call the next day, I'm stuck paying the bill. I feel some pretty black hatred for these people. I have already cancelled my credit card.

In response to some of the reviews I've read about the start date of your free trial, when I received mine and saw the date did not reflect the full 14 days promised, I called customer service, told them I had just gotten my free trial that day and asked if the date could be changed to reflect that. They did. you see if you don't ask the answer is always no. In response to the cost. It is pricey, but as I heard a convenience store owner tell a customer when he complained about the price of an orange - It's conveince! So you may be able to get the individual ingredients for less money, but I don't want to tote around more bottles than I have to. I haven't noticed weight loss yet, but I have noticed a drop in appetite and cravings. So I believe this is the kick-off I need to get me started and get a better meal plan in the works as well as increase my physical activity. I'm not looking for a miracle. I've done enough diets and other programs to know that's not the answer. I'm willing to give this the 3 months they say it really takes to kick in. I believe the trail is really to see if the product agrees with you not to see if you can drop 10 pounds in a week.

Gives you the gitters!!! Doesn\'t really reduce your appetite. Gives you slight munchies the first couple days. I\'m young, but couldn\'t take the shakes. Made me feel like I was getting sick. Doesn\'t really work. Caffeine can make you eat. There\'s caffeine in this. Don\'t buy.

As mentioned in many of the comments above, Avesil's 'trial' is a scam. Even if you return the merchandise, if you do not produce an RMA they will still charge your account.

While disputing the charge with my credit card company, an Avesil representative got on the phone and indicated to me that they wish to offer the best levels of service possible to their customers.

How about not ignoring multiple requests to not ship product to a customer? Or maybe providing a full refund when product is not accepted? Not building a business by pissing off consumers and charging them with hidden fees disguised as a free trial.

I lost a couple pounds in my wallet.

So much for a refund. You better like the product or consider yourself scammed!

Okay, about Avesil. Here's the deal with me.
I ordered the free trial to give it a ry. I figured with the cancellation policy the most I could loose would be $5.
I placed the order on 5/14.
I got the product on 5/20...yes, already 6 days into my trial. So I figured, since they want to play that game, I wouldn't give them a chance to trap me. So I began the cancellation process almost immediately. I wanted to make sure I gave myself time to get the RMA# and send it back.
I used the online method to get my RMA#. I know those 1-800 numbers are iffy, so I went straight to the website. I am suprised no one has mentioned the online method of cancellation. It is simple and easy. The instructions were in my package.

I got the RMA# on 5/24 online and also via email. I compared the #s to make sure they were the same (just in case). The instructions also said to make sure the # is clearly marked on the outside of the package when you send it back, so I used a Sharpie.

I sent the package priority overnight on 5/25. I opted to use FedEx instead of USPS to ensure tracking and faster delivery. I figured the money I'd pay for faster reliable shipping was worth it compared to what I'd pay if i got trapped in this membership.

I got an email on 5/26 saying they had cancelled my subscription and I would no longer be billed.
So that's my experience. I think you just have to read and follow instuctions carefully. I also believe that more than just trapping you in a membership, they probably send a "less effective" batch of pills on the trial. If anyone has actually stuck around to try another bottle, I bet those pills are more potent and effective.

I have last about 2lbs so far (with no diet or exercise). I don't get jitters or any other bad side effects. I could tell I had more energy almost immediately. I think if I add a better diet and some exercise I can lose more weight. [Did I mention I emptied the bottle before I sent it back :)] For the most part, I can tell it speeds up my metabolism because I am pretty "regular", if you know what I mean. I do have a lot more energy but the pills do warn NOT to take them close to your bed time because of the caffine. You have to read.

Oh and another thing,
I received my package via USPS which does not offer tracking capabilities. Therefore, I understood how Avesil wouldn’t be able to know when I actually received it. So my trial did start the day I ordered it on 5/14 nbot the day I received it.

However, and this goes back to reading and paying attention, I received a confirmation email the day I ordered it that had my TRIAL EXPIRATION DATE on it. So I knew when it was even before I got the pills.
THEN when I got them, that same date was on the packaging. They made it easy for me to keep up with my time line to cancel.

The moral of the story is: you have to read and pay attention and follow instructions. The company probably did make it hard to try and trap you but if you play by the rules and don't wait until the last minute, you are good.

Product does not work. Will not refund your purchase even if you do not use the product AFTER your trial period of 14 days expires. one person works customer service. No supervisor according to that person. No person to complain to. this is a total scam that cost me 90 bucks. I was under the impression that you return the unused portion for a refund. They say this is not the case after your trial period. Will take this up with the BBB.

:-):-)I don't get why all the complaints and saying Avesil is a scam. I ordered the free trial. Empty the bottle and returned it overnight with tracking # and RMA number. Called customer service (only had to call once). Explained that I needed more time then when I got the product to try it and that I had returned the bottle. She asked for the tracking #; located my return and cancelled and sent a confirmation email. She said that if I do like the product and would like to reorder when I run out I can call in and she said they usually have specials.

Now, I have been taking this for 2 days and so far so good. I weighed in at 188.2 and today I decided to jump on the scale and I am at 186.4! Avesil has helped with keeping my in check with what and when I eat. I stopped eating after 7pm. I am usually a good exerciser but this is my “woman” time of the month and have 0 energy to work out at the moment. But like anything I don’t want to pay for something that won’t work.

I received my pills today. It took three days to get the bottle. I was charged 3.95 shipping. I have been big all my life and I am willing to allow time for the pills to work. Granted 14 days is not enough time to see if they would work. 30 days would be more like it. However it is what it is. I did read the Trial information and was aware of the risks before placing my order using my card. If after 3 months, I do not see a positive change then IF I must cancel my credit card then so be it. Life is full of risks. To me the risk of dying is higher. I do go to the gym about 3 times a week but I have 100 pounds overweight,low metabolism and an office job! I talked to my doctor told me that strengths exercise can actually hurt me because of other problems, he suggested weight loss surgery, but my insurance would not pay it. I told him about these pills, he told me nothing is guaranteed, but he reminded me that I am worth it. ( I forget that sometimes) So in the meantime, I will continue to learn to eat healthier and if (no.. when ) I do loose weight It will be easier on my body/bones etc.. and then I increase my exercise routine. Life is full of chances. Weight loss surgery costs over $14,000, Triple by-pass surgery due to a heart attack would cost more. I will take the money I used for restaurants, and junk spending each month to make sure I can pay for it if need be. Oh buy the way, the company promised to pay $1200.00 if they use your success story. I do NOT work for this company. I think everyone's body reacts different to different medicines. Why do you think there are several dozens of pain killers? Or several types of cold medicine? IF the pills don't work, then I can not say I did not give it a chance. I don't believe in "free trials". I'm having terrific results with this product. I just received my second bottle and it looks like I have maybe a weeks worth left in my current bottle, however, I think two days I only took it twice rather than three times because the day got away from me and I didnt' want to affect sleeping that evening. I have not weighed but clothes that were too tight now fit and I've had people tell me I look like I've lost weight and how did I lose so quickly. I also see loss in my stomach, face and arms.
I too was concerned about the cost but I realized the product is actually cheap if you consider the cost of Calicum which I was taking and no longer need to buy and the amount of money i am saving in food purchases. I am a food obssessive person so this product has already changed my life. I no longer think about food. I have to now plan my day to make sure I am eating. I have made healthy eating choices. Prior to this product I did not. But, I think this product has motivated those healthier choices. I have energy through the roof which has resulted in me getting so much done that I feel better about life generally.
I admit I have not checked my bank statement to see about any scamming. I'll do that today. Even if something odd is up, I'll just demand correct but I won't stop my auto-delivery. This is the only thing that has worked for me. If I do weight watchers, I become further obsessed with food.
So, if you are like me wanting to lose weight and not be obssessed about food all day try this product. I will tell you this, don't eat for one to one and half hours after your morning dose. I believe that is key. One day I did eat sooner than that and that day was not as successful of a day for me. All the other days when I waited longer after the first dose, my day resulted in far fewer calories (I didn't count but reflecting on what I ate, I know I consumed approximately 1200 calories), great energy levels, focused on my work, focused on housework once I got home, walked my dog, worked in the yard, etc. Finally, if evening eating is a problem, don't give into it. The product is probably wearing off later in the evening before bed. Tell yourself to wait for the next morning. If I can do that, anyone can! The product works with those simple adjustments for me.

It's July 1. Maybe I'll return and post my continued success.

Unlike everyone else I decided to call and cancel just in case...LOL I really don't have much to lose however I don't want to stuck with a charge amount when I can empty the bottle and return it without the product and just continue to take it and lose the weight. I'm not into the quick fix of things I walk 6 miles 5 days a week. I called today and canceled the product got an RMA and stated to the customer service rep that if I do inquire a charge I will report them and cancel my card. I did not run into any problems nor did I get poor customer service. I've tried many other products and like I explained to them I decided to cancel due to being informed of another product that was less expensive and productive. They offered to give me 2 additional bottles for the price of 1 and keep the trail bottle for free. I said thanks but no thanks. I think I'm going to keep using the product because I have noticed a change in my appet. and will return the bottle empty at no cost other than shipping. It does seem to work longer when you wait the 2 hours before eating a meal, and try lemon water it's great in adding to weight lose.

;-)Don't waste your money, the ingredients are good for you and for weight loss but you can buy green tea extract, Caffeine anhydrous, and a combo of Citrimax and Chromium online or at a vitamin store. I bought a 3 month supply for $40, requires balancing more pills but much better than $89 a month and credit card hassles! Also it works great, lost 10lbs in 2 months, no miracle, but healthy and lets face it there is no miracle pill that will achieve better results.

I was scammed the same way most of you were. It said on the webiste try it for 14 days free. I haven't even had the product for 14 days and I was billed last week. I called for the past 3 days and FINALLY after putting the phone on speaker and waiting it out did I get a live person. He told me not to return the bottle and I would not receive a refund. He says it states it in the terms and conditions. I told him the site said to try it free for 14 days and I haven't had it that long. He said the trial goes from the day you place the order, then said from the day the tracking number shows the product was delivered. I tried it for 2 days and it made me feel ill. So I stopped. Like I said I tried calling for 3 days and left 2 messages hoping a rep would return my call within 24 hours to no avail. The guy I talked to on the phone said he would give me partial credit so I'll hold my breath. I told him I wanted to speak to a supervisor and he said there was no one higher, so I asked it he was the owner of the company and he said no. My next calls are to the BBB and then to the state attorney geneerals office to file complaints on unfair business practices. We should all have received full refunds by calling within the 14 days. What a scam!

Ok, after reading a lot of positive reviews about this product, I went ahead and bought it OFF EBAY. Why? Because I can read and knew within 10 seconds that the trial would be a nightmare. I am a lawyer though so I am not going to cry about falling for some sort of deal like they and every other company like them does when it is spelled out right in front of me. Please guys ... use your brains... I will report my results after I use the product for a while.

I have read many reviews on this product and this is the first time I have seen so many negative reviews. I took my first does today and have no jittery effects as of yet. I am trying this because I can't seem to get off the twenty pounds even though I exercise 3-4 days a week. I'm only going to use the 30 day supply to jump start the weight lose. I have already set a reminder in my phone to cancel my subscription because 90.00 is a little stiff. If it ends up working then I may reorder.

If you are considering purchasing, DO NOT. Complete scam, this does not work and they make it near impossible to return. Has anyone had luck with cancelling? I have been charged twice and do not want these pills or to continue being charged. I can't get anyone on the phone. HELP!

Uber-frustrated!

This is a total ripoff. There is no such thing as a free trial, they bill you for the next bottle a week after you receive the FREE trial. At this point you can not possibly know how the product is going to work. When I found my credit card charged for the next bottle 2 weeks after the original charge I canceled the program and asked for a refund I was told \"we have canceled you from future shipments but the product that has already been billed and shipped is not refundable.\" I never received the item I was billed $89 for. I\'m sure it was really never shipped. This company and product are a total RIP OFF !!!!!

:-) I received Avesil from a friend who no longer needed the product (she reached her goal). I've been taking Avesil about one week now with no problem. With the first dose i could tell the difference in the amount of energy, still was a little hungry. Day two i could really feel it, more energy, less hunger... i havent hit the scale just yet, maybe next week. So far, so good!

I ordered Avesil in July and ended up with kidney stones prior to receiving the shipment. After surgery last week I finally got around to cancelling the order this morning. I was on day 17, 3 days beyond the 14 day trial. Initially I was told that my account had been charged, but Kim was very helpful and credited my account the $89.95. I have not tried the pills due to the extenuating circumstances. It is shameful that Avesil is not forthcoming with their customers and lures them into the automatic payment scheme. In my mind this kind of business practice should be illegal. However, their representative was considerate and helpful. Perhaps after reading a few of the reviews above the company is rethinking its approach.

This product is a scam,I ordered it and it did not come in the mail till the 14 day trial period ended. I was not able to call for 5 days and they stated I had to call before the trial date and would not give me a answer as to why it was late only said I could get a partial refund. That will take 5 to 10 working days to go back into my account. But they already billed me the 89.95. This company does nothing to keep people happy and it does not work.

well i wanted to try this product for full 30 days--so i went to customer service online and canceled in enough time to get rma# and mail back empty bottle--they immediately cancelled auto ship and iwent to post office and mailed back empty bottle and got a tracking # so i could prove when it was mailed --so now i do not have free trail but i do have a 30 day supply to try for about 7 dollars in shippin and return i can live with that--so we will see after 30 days--i have lost some weight so far so will see

I lost about 10 lbs using Avesil. It came back though eventually but that's my fault. It works well as an appetite suppressent. I never got charged because I canceled at about the 9 day mark and sent the empty bottle back w/ delivery confirmation. You have to be on it in order to not be charged. I called just now and got someone on the phone pretty quick. I am going to get my BF to get me another bottle using the trial so I will post again and say if it worked seamlessly twice. The pills worked for me, I think people are mad that let the 14 days go by. Call and get the RMA right after even if you didn't get the product yet. Maybe that would help? You can also get it on eBay but it is expensive.

i did the risk trial and took the pills as it says to, and i have had amazing results i lost 8 pds the first week, but like others i cant afford the 89 dollars a month, so i sent the empty bottle back and kept the pills so far no extra charges to my card its been 3 months since then and i have lost 36 pounds in total...B-);-)

I wish I had found these reviews before ordering Advesil.My advice? DON\'T ORDER IT!!! Here are my results and my unhappy story about this total scam:
It was completely a waste of money- I have actually gained 6 pounds. Since the trial period starts when you place your order...(that\'s what they told me when I called-that\'s convenient, isn\'t it?) I didn\'t get a chance to actually try it for any length of time before the trial period expired.
I was surprised when I \"automatically\" received the second bottle just a few weeks after receiving the first bottle. Co-incidentally, I underwent an unexpected surgery right after receiving the second bottle, so I was unable to call or cancel before the THIRD bottle arrived. By then I was able to get online and cancele the membership I was \"auto enrolled\" in, and I just spent a frustrating hour on the phone trying to get an RMA for the TWO bottles that I was auto-sent/auto-billed after ordering the trial bottle that I didn\'t have time to try for the full \"trial period\". They say they\'re doing me a favor by refunding the total cost of the third bottle and half the cost of the second bottle (both are still in the original mailing package). Bottom line is, I just spent nearly $150 for a bunch of junk that doesn\'t work- a costly mistake that I hope others will not make. I give Avesil two thumbs down- what a scam- what a waste. I\'m also reporting them to the Better Business Bureau- I hope they shut them down.

I sent this back got my RMA number and was told I had 30 days to return the unused portion. I was charged for the product and told i had to send it back before the 14th day. Note free 14 day trial. They offered me 40 dollars back of the 89.99 they charged my card. Wish I had found this site before I ordered it.

I am not a lawyer like #148 - Maggie, but also bought the product on E-Bay, yes I paid full price for it, but at least I don't have to worry about my credit card being charged twice (or more). Can't wait to get this and try it :-D

I've been using Avesil and watching my calorie intake for about three months and have lost 20lbs. Since I don't do much cardio, I probably could have lost the weight faster. I will continue to use the product a few more months in hopes to lose another 20lbs and reach my target weight. If I can lose forty pounds in 6 to 7 months, I will be satisfied with the product. After all, it took me years to put on the pounds.

One piece of advice: DON'T BUY THIS PRODUCT. This product is trash. Also, they say it's a "risk free trial" but they WILL charge you shipping + 89.95. I canceled my trial and sent back the product EXACTLY as they told me to and within the 14 day period. I still got charged. I called the "customer service" number and was on hold so long that it just forwarded me to their automated voice mail. I left a message but I don't expect them to get back to me... shady, shady business. I contacted my credit card company and am disputing the charge. I am also going to file with the better business bureau. DON'T BUY THIS PRODUCT. IT IS A SCAM AND YOU WILL GET RIPPED OFF.

i ordered this product`s free trial and after reading about the charges, i immediately changed my mind about the free trial. so i called to have the order cancelled and guess what? i am being put on hold for so long that its frustrating and then it goes straight to voice mail. nice! i should never had ordered this scam product in the first place. Now i know they will charge me that $89. for nothing.

I ordered my free trail. Yes, trail starts day you order so it's not really a 14 day trail for you to try. I paid #3.95 for shipping. So far it's my 3rd day. It does help with my appetite. I don't feel hungry. I'm 5'1 and 130lbs. Second day I didn't feel hungry at all and had small portion meals. So far no weight loss. Will update on results.

I ordered it last night after reading a rave reviews...i dont know what i was thinking, ugh. then i found these reviews and was like omg what have i done. i cancelled it online last night about an hour after i had ordered it. then i called just now (the next morning) got through in about 3 minutes and the guy told me I was fine and no charges will appear and even the trial will not be sent to me. hopefully, crossing fingers that it worked.

With all the reviews on this product I quickly returned it as soon as I received it. I did get the RMA number by canceling on line so that was not difficult. Wow, I have to laugh at the people that keep stating "Ohh, I was not hugry" "It curbed my appetite" "No weigh loss, but I'm not hungry" HELLO, this is a weigh loss supplement, not a hunger suppression supplement. Even though yes, hunger is suppressed, that is not the main goal of buying this supplemt, the main goal is weight loss. If you're buying this supplemt for hunger suppression, you are GREATLY overpaying. Hunger suppression chews or pills only cost between $5-10. NOT over $90. By paying over $90, you bet there better be some pretty good weight-loss!

Scan, do not sign up for, doesn't work and I was sent 2 shipments ($89.99) within 2 weeks, after attempting to reach them by phone numberous times, and leaving messages to cancel. They will not refund my money and product is crap.

I must admit, I got into the trial at first thinking it was free, but after placing the order I double checked to see what I had gotten into. The website clearly says it is a 14 day trial, and if not canceled within that time period I would be billed. I ordered this completely out of impulse, but I decided to go ahead and try it. Product came 3 days after I ordered it, With an In-voice stating their trial information and the trial expiration date. I sent them an email with my info to cancel and their replied with return instructions. I thought it would be much harder than this, I thought I had made a huge mistake buying this out of impulse, and it does appear that way at first. I decided to do some research to see what I had gotten into, What I read made it seem much, much worse.

But if you take one last look, they state all their information, and send it to you.

Avesil offers a "risk free trial" and ships one sample does of product for a reasonable shipping charge. The confirmation is highly deceptive as it states "item price $0.00"

If confronting Avesil, the answer is that "you are not paying for the product but for the "trial period" (suggesting I was paying for the time).

That is snake oil salesmanship and shouldn't go unpunished.

When I purchased the product, I decided to keep the product beyond the 14 day trial period to really try the product. I did not see any difference. Without ordering or notification, the following month I received another bottle. I returned it unopened with Return to Sender - I did not order written on the package. I assumed that would be the end of that. I received 4 more and continued to return every pack unopened. I wrote a letter to the company. I have not received a refund. I called the company and was told that once they send out a product they do not accept a return in exchange for a refund. In essence, they do not refund money. DO NOT ORDER anything from this company!!!!!! I will notify the Better Business Bureau.

i was so excited by the Great reviews for this product and went ahead and ordered it about 20 minutes ago. Something said, just check the reviews(not on the manufacturers website, on GOOGLE) After reading these reviews i immediately called the 1800# to cancel it and spoke to a guy named 'Andy' I told him my name and he asked my zip code and with in seconds i got a confirmation email saying my order was canceled. I'm happy it was so simple now i BETTER not get a bill a month from now, I wont be a happy camper! lol

So I ordered this like 2 days ago because I read a great review about it on a exercise website.. anyways I decided to research a little more after the fact and I regret even ordering it. So i sent them an email customercare@avesil.com and they replied right away and canceled it. They also sent me the RMA number and how to ship it back. I don't really understand how people say they are getting scammed by something that clearly says on the website that you will be billed if you don't cancel within 14 days. And they give you 30 more days to return the bottle even if it's empty. Hopefully, they won't charge me after the fact or I'm going to be pissed, but I don't see why they would.

This product may not work for you, but I followed the simple instructions and no charges were made to my credit card. You have to follow simple instructions, and there is no problem.
I ordered the product, and when I recevied it I simply called the customer service line. They answered promptly. I asked them to start my trail data from the time I received the order, not when they shipped it. They were happy to oblige. I called BEFORE the trial was over to cancel. (kept me up at night).. They issued me an RMA number, and told me they had to receive my shipment within a certain time frame. I can’t remember how long, but it was somewhere between 14 -30 days.. I mailed the unused product back, and received an email informing me my order was cancelled, and no further charges to my card.
If you have the ability to follow simple instructions, then you wont get charged. They are not a rip off from what my experience was. Here is a copy of the email they sent me once I sent back the product on time, with the RMA they supplied..

I too fell victim to the Avesil scam. I ordered the free trial, ended up paying for the first bottle because I did not return in time, so decided to deal with the loss. I did not think the product was spectacular by any means, even though I had read glowing reviews. Wish I would have seen these reviews first. :(. I then called customer service several times,never once talking to a live representative. Instead,I had to wait 10-15 minutes listening to music only for it to end with a voicemail. I cancelled also online and received an e-mail stating I would not have any more shipments delivered. Well, this morning I found yet another bottle of Avesil in my mailbox. of course I will dispute it, but beware. This is a big scam. I hope to save someone else from a big headache.

Got ripped for 89 and change, just like everyone else. 13 days after receiving it I found a charge on my card. Called - got crappy music, which then went to voice mail. I also e-mailed customer service. No response yet. From what I have read from earlier posters it looks like they calculate 14 days from when they ship it. Bogus. Report them to BBB.

Well I was really considering trying this product but after all the negetive comments i think im going to pass. But for all of you thats still trying to loose weight you should try Phentramine I did a lot of research even talked to a few Pharmacist and they said that it does get the weight off but its up to you to keep it off and changing your lifestyle. Amid all these reviews I noticed people mentioning different dosages. Chris (quite a few reviews back) says she can only take 5 pills a day instead of the recommended 6. Someone else mentions 3 pills a day. I just received mine today and both the bottle and the packing slip warns not to exceed more than 2 pills a day to be taken 1/2 to 2 hrs before a meal. Did Avesil change their formulation since 2010 or are these people o.d.ing?
I have had trouble with free trials in the past. Using gift cards is a great idea. You can also notify your cc co. and they will credit your account and go to battle with these "scam" companies for you.

What is the RMA #?

WHATEVER YOU DO, DO NOT BUY AVESIL!!! They "free" 14 day trial is bogus - the literature even states that it can take up to 60 days to show effect. And then, when you return the product they still charge you and state that they never received the product back. So spread the word - this product and its company is a total SCAM!!!

This is a shoddy operation - these people are out to get your $$. I ordered this in mid-July. I thought why not. They charged me for a second body in early August. Because I didn't appreciate the early 2nd charge, I decided to cancel. I phoned twice. Well, turns out they didn't cancel my account so they CHARGED ME AGAIN, another $95+. DO NOT SIGN UP FOR THIS BECAUSE WHEN YOU CANCEL, THEY WILL CHARGE YOU FOR ANOTHER MONTH UNTIL YOU PHONE THEM YELLING ABOUT THE CHARGE. IMAGINE ALL THE $$ THEY ARE GETTING IF THEY CHARGE EACH WOULD BE CUSTOMER, just $95 extra one time. These people are out to steal our $$.

When I received this product, I kept packing list. Found out from Cardiologist that I should not be taking this 'safe' product. Called to cancel within 8 days of receiving the product. I also received the required RMA number when I called to cancel, then I returned the unused portion - over 2/3 of the pills - with the required RMA written on the outside of the package as they requested, and included it on the inside of package. I return shipped via UPS so I could track their receipt. Seems the product was received "one day too late" and due to that, my account was charged $89.95. Seems odd that UPS could not get them to sign for it on the first attempt at delivery - OR is it AVESIL'S nature to SCAM everyone they can!? In this economy, what a disgrace this company is. PLEASE DO NOT BUY FROM AVESIL - UNLESS YOU HAVE MONEY TO THROW AWAY.
