What is Colonix?
Colonix is a fiber supplement that cleanses the colon of accumulated toxic build-up and prevents the formation of new build-up through the use of herbal dietary fiber.
Continued use of the Colonix Intestinal Cleanser keeps the digestive tract from getting clogged up with mucus, toxins and metabolic waste. It helps to keep the colon clean and waste matter moving freely and efficiently.
Fiber also helps maintain a healthy intestinal flora and absorbs toxins in the colon by creating a spongy, gelatinous mass in the bowels. By swelling and absorbing fluids, it breaks down and moves toxic waste matter stuck in the folds and crevices of the colon.
What are the Ingredients in Colonix?
Colonix contains 14 main ingredients. They are Psyllium Husks, Flax Seed, Fennel Seed, Licorice Root, Papaya Fruit, Grapefruit Pectin, Slippery Elm Bark, Althea Root, Guar Gum, Alfalfa, Peppermint Leaf, Uva Ursi, Aloe Vera Juice, and Rhubarb Root.
These are all pretty common ingredients found in one form or another in the majority of colon cleansers. I really like Psyllium Husks as a colon cleanser.
Psyllium Husks increase the intake of dietary fiber. It has the ability to swell up from its initial volume when added to liquid. This bulking action can play an important role in maintaining regularity and helping to support normal gastrointestinal health.
One concern about Colonix is that it uses a proprietary blend. This makes it impossible to tell how much of each ingredient you are getting. I called Colonix to see if I could get some more information about the quantities. When I asked the customer service represetative for the exact amounts of each product, she did not know. This isn't suprising because most companies won't disclose proprietary blends for various reasons. I like it when companies just tell you what is in their product and how much by listing it on the packaging.
Who Makes Colonix?
Dr. Natura makes the Colonix product and has been around for about ten years. They were one of the first companies to market a colon cleanser like Colonix.
The Colonix Regimen
For Colonix to be most effective, you must follow some strict guidelines. This is common for most detox programs.
You must drink the EXACT amount of water outlined and follow the strict diet that is recommended, you will suffer from headaches, painful cramps and horrible constipation. Constipation is the Anti-Colon Cleanse. Constipation is probably the most common problem and while it is possible to follow the instructions as required, it is very inconvenient and can be avoided with similar colon cleansing products.
Colonix Side Effects
Everyone is going to have different kinds of side affects whenever they use a colon cleansing product like Colonix or any other program. After reading around the internet, it seems like the most common side effect that people seem to get from Colonix is cramping.
This is something that usually comes and goes, and this is actually just because your colon is working on cleaning itself out.
Some people do have abdominal pain, which is a little worse than the cramping. This just shows that some peoples' bodies react different.
The other most common side effect is diarrhea. This has a lot to do with the fact that Colonix is cleaning out your system. The diarrhea is backed up waste that may have been left in your body.
The worst Colonix side effect would have to be the headaches. In fact, some people say that they have constant headaches. This could be due to some kind of reaction to one of the ingredients in the pills.
Colonix Claims
One thing that drives me nuts about Colonix are what they claim are the reasons why you need to detox. The list things like gas, mood swings, bad breath, skin problems, powerful food cravings and a protruding belly. Those justifications probably account for a large majority of regular people. Does the fact that I have a tummy or just passed gas necessarily mean that I need to detox? Hardly.
Where to Buy Colonix?
The lowest price I have seen Colonix going for is from Amazon.com. At Amazon, you can also read more customer reviews.

All you do is take the 1 T of powder in the morning - drink lots of water during the day (but no more than any one should drink on a normal basis) - and have a cup of tea at night.
What is so regimented about that? I have recommended the program to a number of friends who have all been happy with the results - even a father of a friend who lost 10 pounds in the first month.
Of course, if Colonex is not advertising on this site - or paying you a fee - perhaps that is why you only recommend the others????
my colonix review:
powder and tea taste awful.
results: just some gas.
other products I've tried:
oxy-powder: I give it a B-
Colovox Kit: I give it an A-
Bowtrol: I give it a C+
I give COLONIX a C-/D+.
I'd recommed others not try this product. It doesn't work too well and is way way way overpriced.
I'd recommend Colovox or Oxy-Powder anyday. They both work better and are cheaper.
I'm going back to Colonoxy. That product works incredibly well compared to colonix and evercleanse.
The drink is WAY too thick and gross tasting. The thought of it now make me want to gag.
I got MUCH BETTER results with Blessed Herbs colon cleansing kit -- BUT I didn't like their deceptive billing practices of putting me on "autoship".
So far to date I have gotten the BEST VALUE from a product you recommend called Colovox. BUT... the colovox drink doesn't taste great either. Tastes twice as good as colonix but thats not saying much. But boy oh boy did colovox/puravox cleanse me.
its harder to drink the colonix drink than it is to chug vodka.
Colonix powder drink mixes about as well as oil and water do.
IF you cannot tell I have buyers remorse.
Good luck to everyone I hope you find something that works for you.
colonix mixes all lumpy and clumpy and tastes really chalky with a hint of poison.
I have been using Colonix for 3 years now. The first year, I did a three month program and the 2 other years, I have done 2 months. I suffered from IBS for many years with medication that made me feel worse. Ever since I've been doing the Colonix cleansing program, I have no more symptoms nor do I take medication.
If you follow the instructions properly and buy yourself a small mixer, you will find that the fiber mixed in properly with OJ actually tastes very good and is not thick. You obviously need to drink 8 8oz glasses of water like you would with any fiber or else you will be constipated.
I have had great results and so have all my friends which I recommended the product. I guess it's a small price to pay when you want to take care of your health. I have no unpleasent side effects.
You guys are funny, Colonix is the highest rated Colon Cleaner out there on any other site besides yours. I can tell you have people come on here and beat on it, success is hard to replicate for ya? I have used it many times, and it has always done a fabulous job every time, I used to do the Master Cleanse for my Colon, but I switched to Colonix because it's more effective and not near as harsh, and the Paranil is useless? C'mon guys, you can get more creative with your beat downs. Sheesh.
Use Colonix, It does work.
I recently researched in great detail a colon cleanser and must say that I can and will recommend COLONIX to anybody wishing to receive more or less immediate benefits.
Yes the tea tastes horrible but you donīt suffer from any side effects and if you do itīs probably that you were suffering them in the first place.
If you want to feel cleansed do yourself a favor and give it a try because IT WORKS .....

( caused by constipation from statin drugs which gave me a fissure) it is PRICELESS. Awesome product in that stool after a while had little odor.
I did a one month cleanse using colonix, toxinout and paranil. After 2 weeks i started seeing egg like things that looked like rice. The energy boost after the cleanse was amazing.
It is pricey but i found all the products on ebay for about $140 for 1 month.
I've also used metamucil, and walmart's brand Equate... they work to bulk up stool but not in the same way that colonix did. The per dose amount was about the same but the colonix fiber produced more long painless effortless stool. There was no rush to need a toilet. I believe Colonix is a superior product with the difference was the herb mix...many herbs are synergistic they work better with other herbs and not much is required.
There was just such a sense of well being with the colonix. It's been a while and I'm getting ready to do the entire cleanse again.
Colonix is putting out a less expensive produce found at walgreen's called Colonaide, it's about $40. I'm looking forward to trying it, i hope it has the same ingredients of paranil. I learned first hand that parasites can be a cause of fatique and mental fog. I didn't lose weight but they don't tout it for weight loss it's for cleaning the colon...some people find weightloss to be a pleasant side effect.
The energy i got from the produce made me feel like exercising and being more active. I also took the products exactly as directed.
