Colotrim Review: Trim your bank account, not your belly.

Colotrim is a colon cleanser, but you would not know that from looking at their webpage or reviews. Their product is advertised as a weight loss product more than anything else. And to be completely honest with you, the best way to loose weight is not with a colon cleanser. You can loose a few unwanted pounds with colon cleansers and detox products, but the kind of claims that Colotrim makes are a little ridiculous.

They say that it is possible to loose up to 25 pounds using their product. I’m sorry, but that just is not going to happen. It is insulting that these companies assumes that their customers are so naïve and gullible. So don’t fuel their fire and don’t buy their product! The Colotrim website is bright and attractive but just a quick glance at the testimonials section and you will see why these guys are not to be trusted. Look at the picture of the overweight girl in the drab outfit right next to the cute skinny girl in the red dress. I assume that this is supposed to be a before and after picture but there is no way that that is the same person. Give us some credit here!

Is Colotrim a Wonder Drug?

Another problem I have with the website is that the Colotrim people make the claim that is made by so many other companies; that “virtually every disorder of the human body can be traced back to the colon.” Not true. Your colon is very important and should be properly taken care of with an effective colon cleanser, but it is not the cause of every disorder of the human body. That is just plain ridiculous and these people are just trying to scare you into buying Colotrim. I mean, do these guys expect me to believe that if I have cancer, Colotrim will help treat it? That is what they make it seem like. Like Colotrim is some fat-destroying, disease-killing, wonder drug.

Colotrim False Claims

Colotrim claim that they are America’s #1 bestseller. This is also a lie…it is not even close. And a final lie on the website is by the section that says “Colotrim in the media” the quotes in this section are about colon cleansers but not Colotrim, but they make it seem as though these media are endorsing their specific product. Shady? I think so.

So how does it work? I could not find too many reviews that were not biased, but the few that I found seemed to rank Colotrim as a sub-standard cleanser/ detox product. Most people reported either constipation or diarrhea and said the product did not work as advertised. Those that did have results complained about feelings of uncomfortable pressure and uncontrollable bowel movements. Personally I do not want to crap my pants at work, and that right there is enough for me to stay away from Colotrim. The Colotrim ingredients seem to be rather standard with no notable exceptions, which makes for a mediocre product that will give you mediocre results, if any.

I would not trust a company that does not take me seriously as an informed consumer. Colotrim does not and I do not trust them.

Colotrim

I fell for this scam & ordered a 6 month supply of Colotrim and it does not work as advertized and they have refused a full or partial refund. Yep, this product will take from your bank account & not from your tummy! :-P

I ordered an Acai Berry product and Colotrim together as a "free trial" and only paid $4.95 shipping. Unfortunately I did not read the terms and conditions all the way through, because you get signed up for a "on line weight loss membership" and future shipments of the product without asking...you only know when you check your bank account or get the product. Then, I thought I had cancelled the Colotrim product, and I just found a debit of $79.90 on my account, so I called and they said I had only cancelled the membership, not the product shipment. I had no way to know they were two separate things...so if you order a "free trial", make sure you cancel everything as soon as you get your first shipment. The product doesn't seem to be helping much either, by the way.
