DecaSlim

decaslimDecaSlim is a diet supplement that, according to the NDA, qualifies as a "SuperFoods" supplement. SuperFoods supplements are appearing all over the place to treat things from weight loss to acne and wrinkles. DecaSlim contains a solid blend of the 10 most popular SuperFoods, but will it help you lose weight? Will it get rid of your love handles? Will it improve your skin?

In this review we will take a deeper look at DecaSlim, the popular Superfoods diet pill.

What are the Active Ingredients in DecaSlim?

  • BroccoPlus™ ( Broccoli) - The fact is, broccoli is one mean green. It boasts a fistful of phytochemicals, including sulforaphane and indole-3-carbinol, that may detoxify cancer-causing substances before they have a chance to cause harm. In women, indole-3-carbinol may turn the estrogen associated with breast cancer into a more benign form. A number of studies have linked regular consumption of cruciferous vegetables like broccoli to a reduced risk of breast, colon and stomach cancers. Broccoli is a rich source of beta-carotene, fiber and vitamin C.

  • Futureceuticals Spinach 7000ppm Lutein ( Spinach) - Spinach is loaded with iron and folate, a B vitamin considered so important that it is now routinely added to flour. Folate not only prevents neural-tube defects in babies but also lowers blood levels of homocysteine, an amino acid that irritates blood vessels and is linked to heart disease. Just as impressive, spinach contains two phytochemicals, lutein and zeaxanthin, that seem to ward off macular degeneration, a leading cause of blindness.

  • Garlic - What makes garlic—and your breath—smell so bad is precisely what makes it so healthful. The odor factors are sulfur-based compounds known as allyl sulfides. Health gurus promote garlic as a cure-all, which it certainly is not, but many scientists agree that allyl sulfides and other phytochemicals in garlic may help protect the heart. Studies show that the sulfides can reduce cholesterol and may make the blood less sticky. Scientists are fairly confident that garlic also has antibacterial and antifungal powers. Preliminary reports even suggest that garlic may block the parasites that cause malaria. On perhaps less firm footing is the theory that allyl sulfides can stop tumor growth, a notion so far borne out only in the petri dish. SPECIAL NOTE: Don't Worry! You won't Stink Like Garlic! The Garlic is Odor Free!

  • Tonalin CLA - Derived from natural safflower oil, CLA inhibits lipoprotein lipase, an enzyme that breaks down fat from our diets. Once the fat is broken down, it is stored in the body. By suppressing this enzyme, CLA helps reduce the amount of fat that is broken down and, therefore, the amount of fat that is deposited and stored. Decades of research indicate that CLA (conjugated linoleic acid) actually changes body composition by reducing body fat and increasing or preserving lean muscle mass—giving you a leaner, healthier appearance. Results of a pilot study, which showed a 20 percent reduction in body fat percentage, were announced by Dr. Michael Pariza of the University of Wisconsin, Madison, who discovered CLA and has been instrumental in studying its role in the reduction of body fat and promotion of lean muscle mass.

  • ViscoFiber - You've heard about dietary fiber for years.  But do you know why dietary fiber is so good for your overall health?  If fiber were invented today, it would be a revolutionary breakthrough in health. Dietary fiber – also known as ‘roughage’ or ‘bulk’ and found mainly in fruits, vegetables, whole grains and legumes – is best known for its proven health benefits, especially to the digestive system.  But through decades of research scientist have discovered that some dietary fibers can provide other health benefits as well, such as binding cholesterol in the intestine, helping manage your blood sugar levels and keeping you feeling fuller longer without adding extra calories.

  • Lyc-O-Mato® ( Tomatoes) - Several studies have linked the cooked tomatoes in ketchup, soups and sauces to a reduced risk of prostate cancer and other cancers of the digestive tract. Tomatoes contain lycopene, probably the most powerful antioxidant among the carotenoids, the compounds that turn fruits and veggies deep orange. It is so good at mopping up free radicals that Lycopene outperforms the best-known carotenoid of them all, beta-carotene.

  • LinumLinfe Extra Flax Seed- A unique flax ingredient rich inlignans. Lignans are intensively researched for their phytoestrogenic effects. LinumLife provides lignans in a 10 to 30 times higher concentration than any other flax ingredient. Lignans are phytoestrogens, which are scientifically related to many beneficial effects on health such as:

    * Prostate health
    * Hair loss
    * Acne
    * Antioxidant
    * Menopause
    * Osteoporosis
    * Cholesterol
    * Blood Sugar

  • VitaBlue Blueberries - These little blue jewels may contain more antioxidants than any other fruit or vegetable. The most powerful health-promoting compounds in blueberries are anthocyanins, phytochemicals that belong to the flavonoid family. Besides combatting the free-radical damage linked to heart disease and cancer, anthocyanins may boost brainpower—at least in rats. When fed blueberry extract for nine weeks, elderly rats outperformed a control group at such tasks as navigating mazes and balancing on rotating logs. And when aging rats ate a blueberry-enriched diet for four months, they performed as well in memory tests as younger rats. Another blueberry benefit: like cranberries, they seem to fight off urinary-tract infections by preventing E. coli bacteria from adhering to the bladder wall. ALL OF THE ANTIOXIDANTS IN BLUEBERRIES MAY BE GREAT FOR YOUR SKIN

  • Green Tea - In Asian societies green tea is consumed in about the same quantities as coffee is in the West. Green tea is loaded with polyphenols, a class of phytochemicals with 100 times the antioxidant punch of vitamin C. Laboratory experiments suggest that one group of polyphenols in green tea called catechins may inhibit the growth of new blood vessels, which some scientists think may help prevent cancer by depriving early tumors of nourishment. (Catechins may also prevent DNA damage caused by carcinogens from occurring in the first place.) Indeed, population studies in China link drinking green tea daily with a lowered risk of stomach, esophageal and liver cancers. Studies from Japan show that consuming 10 cups a day may reduce the risk of heart disease. If that much tea seems hard to swallow, consider using it is a mouthwash; reports suggest that swishing green tea around the mouth may inhibit cavity-causing bacteria. Applied to the skin of laboratory mice, it also seems to reduce the incidence of skin cancer. Green Tea Naturally contains small amounts of caffeine. About as much as a small cup of diet coke. Green Tea also contains L-Theanine which some claim can relax you and relieve stress. Stress is commonly linked to Acne.

  • Resveratrol ( Red Wine) - How is it that the French can eat a diet rich in cheese and buttery sauces and still suffer less heart disease than Americans? The answer to the famous French paradox, say nutritionists, is French wine. The skins of the grapes used to make red wine contain supercharged antioxidants known as polyphenols, including one called resveratrol, which boosts HDL cholesterol (the good kind). Polyphenols, according to the latest research, may also inhibit the production of endothelin 1, a peptide that contributes to hardening of the arteries. But be careful. Wine may be great for the heart, but it's been blamed for everything from cirrhosis of the liver to hemorrhagic stroke, fetal-alcohol syndrome and possibly breast cancer, so consumption should be limited to no more than several glasses a week. OUR RED WINE IS ALCOHOL FREE SO YOU DON'T HAVE TO WORRY ABOUT THIS! ALL THE ANTIOXIDANTS IN RED WINE EXTRACT MAY BE GREAT FOR YOUR SKIN.

That is a pretty impressive list of all-natural ingredients. I have been impressed with the high quality of diet supplements that are coming from the "SuperFoods" industry. They are always all-natural and safe. They provide so many health benefits that people are not just taking them to lose weight but as a daily multivitamin as well.

I have always struggled with my weight. I tried Alli, Miracleburn, hydroxycut max and Curvelle. None of them worked. Decaslim was truly a lifesaver. I was able to lose 9 pounds in one month using DecaSlim. No side effects at all! I am well on my way to losing weight and hitting my goal of 130 pounds.
**Update - I just finished my second month on Decaslim and I am down a total of 19 pounds!

I will keep you guys updated on my results.

DecaSlim
I had come across the website in my search for a safe "diet Pill" that I could take that would help me shed 90 to 100 lbs. I liked what I had read about DecaSlim being composed of the 10 power foods. So I ordered it on January 6th 2009 via priority and I had received my order on Monday January 12th 2009.

I started taking the capsules on Tuesday the 13th in the morning, (1 capsule before breakfast and 1 before lunch). I will tell you that it did give me some energy to get things done throughout the day. I did feel a little jittery with the first capsule, however it may have been because I didn't follow the directions and eat 30 to 60 minutes after taking it. It does state on the bottle that there is some caffine in it in the form of the green tea (not a big deal, I drink green tea quite often anyway). At lunch time I took another capsule, this time with a salad and yogurt along with a tall glass of water and I was absolutely fine after. Again, I had energy and I felt good.This time I had no jittery feeling, and Yes, it does curb your appetite.

All in all, I have no complaints about this product at this point since it seems to, at the least make you feel good and gives you more energy throughout the day.

I will keep you up to date on the results as time goes on.

:-P

I've been taking these capsules for about three weeks now and can verify that the work. I've been struggling with the last 10lbs. I needed to lose, and in this time, I've done it. I've experienced no side effects whatsoever, and would heartily recommend it to anyone.

I've also noticed improvements in my skin and hair as well. The best thing? It's all natural, and good for you as well as a weight lost product.

DecaSLIM
I just started taking decaSLIM today and so far I feel great but Ive been reading all these reviews and articles on this pill and I was just curious if anyone who has taken it knows if the weight STAYS OFF after you stop taking the pills or is it like every other diet where you gain the weight right back and then some after you have stopped.

B-) I just ordered my decaslim on Monday 3/16/09 and will probably be receiving it this evening. I am trying to lose those hard last 10 lbs before my wedding ceremony and cruise in May. I work out daily about an hour and eat pretty healthy, however can not manage to take of the last of the hard weight, you know when you are almost there, but not quite yet. I just want to look good in a bikini, so I will keep you all posted and see if this product is any success.
