Beauty is big business; there are literally thousands of companies out there with hundreds of thousands of products. Unfortunately, few of these products actually do what they say they do and sometimes it is difficult to sift through all the different products to find one that will work for you. I would not count on Dermitage.
While Dermitage does come in a slick package, it makes some promises that are just a little too good to be true. Lets take a couple minutes and go over why you should not get sucked into the Dermitage program.
How Dermitage works
There are many different ways to tackle the problem of wrinkles. Some products will focus on prevention while others will focus on treatment. Dermitage is one of the many products that focus on collagen production. Collagen is a natural substance that your body produces that helps to tighten and tone your skin. As you get older, your body slows down its collagen production and your skin starts getting a little more wrinkled. Dermitage has a two-part system that features a lifting crème and a skin renewal complex. The idea seems good but it gets a little hazy when they explain how it works. The makers of Dermitage claim that the lifting crème uses “lifting spheres” to penetrate your wrinkles.
There is a little graphic on the webpage that shows these lifting spheres in action. It all just seems a little too gimmicky to me. The Dermitage people also promise that you will see results after just one application of their product. That is hard to believe. Even people that receive direct collagen injections into their wrinkles do not see results in one visit, so it seems pretty impossible that Dermitage can make a difference after just one use! There are many reviews of Dermitage online and it seems as though most people were slightly disappointed with their results while a few were satisfied. So if you want a risky buy…go for it.
The Dermitage "Scheme"
While the effectiveness of Dermitage seems to be a mystery, the ethics of the company are not. Dermitage uses one of the oldest tricks in the book to get you to buy their product, they tell you to order the free trial (you only pay shipping) and then just return it within 14 days if it does not work. I’m gonna let you in on a little secret right now… this stuff is not going to be free. The Dermitage Company is out to make money just like anyone else and they would not make any if they really did give this stuff away free, especially if it worked after only one application! So how do they make money then? Its simple: you only have two weeks to try the product and if you don’t want it you need to call customer service and cancel your order and send it back. Well if they don’t pick up when you call, then they can’t cancel it can they? And that is exactly what they do, they just don’t pick up! It seems as though dozens of people have tried to return the product only to be ignored by the Dermitage customer service. So when you cant cancel your free trial what happens? That’s right, you get charged. About 75 dollars to be exact. Not only that, but they stick you on an auto–ship program as well. If their product were really that good, the people that make Dermitage would not need to make their money in such sneaky ways.
Dermitage Conclusion
These kinds of schemes suck, plain and simple. You get a slightly inferior product and get swindled into paying more than you want.

Freezox is by far the most powerful wrinkle fighting and anti-aging product legally available today. It's the only product reviewed that received a 100/100 in wrinkle reducing power. If you want to lose your wrinkles as quickly as possible and look like a million dollars, FREEZOX is well worth the money. It would have easily of been the #1 rated anti-aging products if it had not been for it's below average safety rating. Their have been widespread rumors that FREEZOX contains a topical grade extract of the wrinkle reducing ingredient Botulinum Toxin Type-A (BOTOX®). Having thoroughly reviewed FREEZOX we have found no traces of this substance. FREEZOX does however work faster than any other anti-aging product ever created which leads people to question its ingredients. This literal fountain of youth doesn't come cheap. A 28.3 gram bottle which lasts 3-4 months costs $579.00.00 USD. There are rumors that FREEZOX will soon be taken off the market so finding bottles in the U.S. is rare and hard to come by.

Prototype #37-C uses only the highest grade peptides including syncoll, acetyl octapeptide-3, acetyl-hexapeptide-8, pentapeptide-13, matrixyl 3000, and eyeservyl. Syncoll is the only peptide that can increase your skin’s natural collagen production by 119%, and eyeservyl is the only peptide that specifically targets eye wrinkles such as crow’s feet. One of these would be sufficient to stomp out the competition. But they choose to go to the highest levels and use all of them in the highest concentrations possible.
Prototype #37-C really has no competition. It is the only wrinkle solution to climb to this caliber of treatments. Commercials for certain other products say that they beat the $400 and $500 moisturizing creams. Moisturizing does not heal your wrinkles or reduce them. But Prototype #37-C easily beats the wrinkle fighting effects of even the $1000 products. And yet it is available to the common customer at just $149.99.

I did not see much of a diffrence in the first few weeks. the second month is when i could see the diffrence. I took before pics. so that i could compare. I will contioune to do this evey month. I was a victim to this scam too. I was using this product a couple of years ago, happily. I cancelled my auto-ship b/c I was going traveling, but recently signed up again. I told the woman on the phone that I did not want to be set up for auto-ship because I didn't know how long it would take me to use the product and I wanted to figure out the timing first. She told me that wasn't a problem. Well, for some reason the product isn't working on me the same way as it had. My skin seems really blotchy on it. A couple of days after stopping the product I look better again. I gave it a go two more times like this and the results were always the same - I look blotchy when I use Dermitage. I'm not sure why, though. Anyway, two months later I get an email confirming my auto-shipment of the product. I called Dermitage and told them I'm not set up for auto-shipment, they told me that it was a mistake. They don't know why that email went out, don't worry, I have not placed an order. Two days later I receive a shipment. I checked my credit card statement and I was billed. I called again and they said if I didn't know the name of the person I spoke with, then they couldn't verify that I requested not to be set up for auto-ship or that I made the call I said I made. They said I could return the product, but they don't pay for shipping, so I would have to. I went to the post office and it would cost me $8 to return it. So basically, $8 spent so that I could get my $75 back. I told them to remove my contact information from their database.
My estimation: Terrible customer service and no longer a worth-while product.

DONT BUY DERMITAGE- ITS A SCAM. I have very sensitive skin and ordered Dermitage after seeing an ad online (it was a "free trial", right? What's there to loose?) The product arrived while I was away and I didn't actually open or use it until after the 14th day and I didn't see the "return in 14 days" because this disclaimer is stuff in among a bunch of other materials about how great their product is. But, I was willing to "eat" the $92 charge since I figured it was my fault for not realizing that free didn't really mean free for Dermitage. About 2 weeks later, I get another $92 charge on my card from them- thought it was a mistake. When I called, they informed me that they had shipped another box of the product. I said I don't want it and I'll send it back without opening when it arrives. Then the person I spoke with spent a lot of time trying to convince me why I should continue using Dermitage (very hard sell). After several times saying I don't want the product because it wasn't worth $92, she says that all sales are final therefore Dermitage can't/won't take the product back- I have to keep it. I have NEVER heard of a company that stands by their product that won't take it back- All the reputable companies in the beauty industry will take back their products if the customer isn't satisfied. I've taken back opened/used foundation to Lancome when I had an allergic reaction to it- Not only did they take it back, they helped me find other products I could use. I told Dermitage that their sneaky underhanded practices are exactly the reason I don't want their product and I will post my dissatisfaction every chance I get. I hope they are happy with their $184 of my money because I'm hoping my posting will stop at least 10 people from being scammed by them.

I'm 49 years old and absolutely LOVE Dermitage. I could tell a difference in the softness of my skin within one day. Within three days I saw visible results with the fine lines on my face. One week after using this product line (the lifting cream & renewal complex and I also used the Dark circle eye cream) Friends and family who had no idea I was using a new product told me how much younger my skin looked! After that, I also ordered the cleansing foam. It's ok, but I like the other three products much better. Yeah, it's an auto-ship program and I am going to call to see if I can change it to every 6 weeks rather than 4 weeks, but for me Dermitage is worth every penny. I've tried other high priced anti-aging products over the past 20 years and this is the most amazing product line I've tried. I've been using for almost 3 months now and I will continue to use it. I like looking younger!

I fell for the free trial offer just yesterday. So sorry I didn't come here first! I called this morning and tried to cancel, but "of course" it had already been mailed out. I'll put the sample in some other container and return immediately. The woman on the phone gave me a return code for my mailing, and I'll track it carefully. I'm so embarrassed to be caught in this nonsense. I wonder where else I can spread the word?

LIPOVOX
I never had pimples before and my skin is fairly smooth except for some few lines under the eyes. I just want a better looking skin just like everybody else so when Lipovox was recommended by some big shot TV celebrity I ordered two. They are expensive but I thought if it works, it would be worth the price. Guess what?? WRONG!!
My skin is worse than it was before and what I don't like about the LIPOVOX's "side effects" are the acne all over my face. They said it is natural the first few weeks but I finished already two bottles and the pimples are getting bigger and redder. I just hope that next time, Oprah would not accomodate this doctors who swear by their products until she has tried them herself.

DO NOT BUY IT! this is a scam, as the other reviewers said. It is not "free" for 30 days, it is only for 14, and they do give you a very hard time in returning/crediting. It also isn't that great, look at ingredients and then compare to what you get with any name brand like L'Oreal or Olay or Garnier --- identical at a fraction of the cost. This is a horrible example of false advertising and taking advantage of consumers. STAY AWAY from it, and all the other "deals" on line, if it looks too good to be true, it is!

After having been fooled by other free online offers, I decided to call customer service to see if in fact the folks at Dermitage would answer the phone. The hours included Saturday morning, 7am-3:30pm so I placed my call at 8:40am. Once connected, a voice marketing Dermitage products played intermittantly with music while I waited for nearly 10 minutes. I agree with the reviewer that although the products may be beneficial, the program rates pretty high on my 'scam-o-meter'.

Dermitage Anti-Aging System
To Whom this Concerns:
Today I received what I perceived to be my free sample of Dermitage Anti-aging product which I had been charged $3.97 postage and handling. I was excited to try your product. I was shocked to read that this was a ploy to enroll me in monthly mailings of product if I do not call and return your product within 14 days of receiving it.
I am on a fixed income. Automatic withdrawals for skin care are not in my budget. I do not appreciate your tactics . You are targeting the elderly who have aging skin and may not have computer savy and willl likely be your next unsuspecting clients.
Today I called the number on your cover letter, the prerequisite for returning the unused product. That number does not work. The call can not be processed, whatever that means. Since number 1 step is impossible, I will go to step #2. I will put the unopened product in it\\\'s boxes and return to you. Please refund my $3.97 and take me off your list.
I am disappointed and was looking forward to wonderful results.
Thank you,
Pamela Dale

I was suckered into trying the so-called free trial and didn't read the small print about the 14 day return time. I got a second order before I contacted them to stop and hope I won't get another, too, before they actually cancel more shipments. I agree this free trial is a scam.
An even bigger scam is that I didn't find the products at all effective for me or my husband. I tried them out regularily for a month on half of his face and neither he nor I could see any difference. I used the products on all of my face and neck and couldn't see any results, either. It's an expensive rip-off and costly lesson!

I ordered this product. I have been using it and not really seeing too much improvement in my skin. I did call customer service to cancel my order when I got my next $100 + shipment. I hadn't even finished half of the product! They actually answered right away and asked if I wanted to receive the same products (the two main ones they are selling) for 1/2 the cost and every four months instead of every month. I still may cancel, but I want to see if I see any improvement before I cut it off completely. I thought that was a much more reasonable price. I checked yesterday and they had credited my account $49 and it was about a week ago that I called. Maybe they are actually reading some of their really bad reviews...

Hey, I was just about to get the free trial, it sounded good, but surched before if I could trust the company and the product. Am very happy to have found this page and reviews.
Thanks, you saved me from spending all this money for a scam ! ! ! ! Can't trust these companies. They even offered me to send it for "only" 2$ shipping, because I filled in my name and e-mail-Adresse, but hadn't sent it off yet. The next day I got this "great offer" just for me and just for a limited time about the 2$ shipping.
These products are overpriced anyway, don't fall for it.

Scam product. I took an online survey and was promised a FREE gift only had to pay $3.97 for shipping. That's how they get your card number. This was presented as a gift nothing more. The box arrived when my wife was out of town caring for her father. When my wife returned I gave her the box and that is when we found out it was not a free gift but a 14 day sample. Of course the 14 days had expired by then. They claim it was all upfront on the website and that is false!!! a LIE!!!. Now we have a $99.50 charge on our card. Dermitage does not deserve anyone's business using these tactics. If the product were that good it would sell itself.

Dermitage and Hydroxatone
I ordered Hydroxatone on this kind of "free" offer. I found a slightly inconvenient way to avoid getting charged however...
Although I did cancel my product and return the jars (after taking the leftover product and putting in a different container) all within the time allowed. I wrote the cancellation number on the boxes of Hydrox, the shipping box and the invoice which I placed inside oh as well as the shipping label. All was fine and I never saw a charge. However, because I received a charge on my card for a product not related to this one I had canceled that ATM card. About three weeks after having canceled I received an invoice for 139.95 stating that I was liable for this charge and the company Hydroxatone had tried billing me but was unable. Thank God! I wrote them after trying to call and being disconnected not once but four times and told them I owed them nothing, gave them the cancellation number and asked them not to contact me again. I received an apology from the company and was told they wouldn't bother me again. Not. Again, a month later I received another invoice this one saying "final notice" that I would be sent to collections if I didn't pay the 139.95 I owed. AGAIN I wrote them angrier this time threatening to write articles destroying their reputation (as much as I could) letting them know as a writer I had the power ha ha ha, and to not contact me again giving them the copy of the first letter, the response letter and the cancellation number once again. Again, they apologized and promised not to contact me again. This time they didn't and I haven't heard from them again though I wouldn't be surprised if I did.
The company WOULD have charged me 139.95 and I'm certain I never would have received the money back IF I had not already canceled that ATM card. I got lucky... extremely.
This is the tip: Use your ATM card to order these products. It may be a slight hassel but not a huge one only that any bills I pay with that card I have to change later BUT if you find it worth it as many of these products can be, again Use your ATM card and after receiving it b4 the trial ends cancel your card and order a new one letting your bank know that you are being charged undue charges, you'll receive a new card in usually less than a week in my case 4 days, then keep the product if you want or like I did still cancel and send empty jars back as they WILL try and charge you. This way they cannot and you don't have the hassle although most may find canceling your card to be one. For me it was no big deal and I got several products this way the last time I ordered on free trials trying four different free trials on products as expensive as 400.00 for just one.

I too fell for this scam ... do not order this product!!! If any product is good, they wouldn't have an auto-reorder program and would let people pick & choose what products work for them and how often to order them. I didn't call by that 14th day and got screwed out of $100! Argue with them enough and they'll give you a partial $50 refund. A-holes!!

Yes like others, I have recieved a charge on my card that shouldn't be there.
I did read the fine print, didn't like the product for the price they are selling it for. Called and canceled and returned to them within the time they stated and yes I still got charged. Spent 45 minutes on the phone to proove to them that they recieved the products back in the amount of time they specified. I did have to provide them with a tracking number and who signed for it. They stated they will credit my account... We will see...and from how this matter was handled it wouldn't surprize me to have additional charges in the future. NOT A REPUTABLE COMPANY WITH VERY SHADY PRACTICES!!!!! BELOW STANDARDS, CUSTOMER SERVICE!!!!! LESS THAN AVERAGE PRODUCT!!!!!

Meaningful Beauty
I watched one of those middle of the night infomercials with Supermodel Cindy Crawford and her celebrity friends. Photo's of Cindy's were shown from 20 years ago and recent photo's which showed that her skin hadn't aged. She claims that a doctor in Europe provides special products which halt the aging process. The price shown for a 30 day supply is $29.95. However, when you place the call, they sucker you into having to pay for the first 3 months at $90.00 plus tax, shipping, and handling. You pay 1/2 the cost upfront before it is shipped and then monthly payments of $36.31. Every 3rd month another shipment is sent and you are billed 1/2 of the upfront 3 month charge again. The product ingredients are similar to those in drug store skin care products. Definately not worth the $ and terrible customer service when you try to cancel. I was on hold for 55 minutes, they answered and then cut me off when I told the rep I was calling to cancel. The second time I called, I asked the person's name and employee ID number in case there are any problems before I even explained I was calling to cancel, this time I was told my membership was cancelled and my last debit to my card would be refunded with 3 - 5 business days, it's been 8 business days and I've still not seen a credit back to debit card. My point is this, the product is terrible and very costly, so is the membership. If I had Cindy Crawfords money, I would probably just have a facelift and some juvederm injections.

Thank you,
Pamela Dale
An even bigger scam is that I didn't find the products at all effective for me or my husband. I tried them out regularily for a month on half of his face and neither he nor I could see any difference. I used the products on all of my face and neck and couldn't see any results, either. It's an expensive rip-off and costly lesson!
