Donormyl Review: Donormyl - The Addictive and Mysterious Sleep Pill?

Sleep aids come in all different shapes and colors. There are all natural sleep aids and chemically engineered ones. Because there are so many different types of sleep aids, the companies behind them need to make their own product special somehow.

Donormyl is advertised as the strongest of the non-prescription sleep aids. Whether or not this claim is true, I cannot say. In fact there seems to be very little that I can say about Donormyl, as I have not been able to find much information about it.

The Donormyl website is extremely basic, there is very little information about the product aside from that it is supposedly very strong and some warnings. Of course, there is also an order section.

Because I learned so little about Donormyl from the website, I had to do a little research on my own. Apparently Donormyl is made in France and is fairly common in Europe.

There really is only one active ingredient in Donormyl and it is called Doxylamine Succinate. This ingredient is actually one of the more popular over the counter ingredients for sleep aids and when used in the right quantities, it can be very effective.

That said, who knows the quantity of doxylamine in Donormyl? It seems to be a mystery because I cannot find a full ingredient list anywhere. I tried to find a contact number for the company and struck out there too.

You may wonder why I was concerned about the amount of this particular ingredient , but it is because I know that when you have too much doxylamine, you can easily become addicted to it. Sleep aids are generally very safe unless you become addicted and then they become very, very dangerous.

Heath Ledger was a great actor; if you have not seen the new Batman movie, go see it and you will probably feel the same way. But recently he died from a drug overdose and the world lost an amazing young talent.

the active ingredient in Donormal(doxylamine succinate) is the active ingedient in Nyquil cough medicine.It is an antihistamine like benadryl.

I have personally tried Donormyl on one of my flights and I find it very effective. However , I visited their site and there's nothing much you can see there. I believe that the manufacturer should be responsible enough to inform the consumer of it's adverse side effects, especially since it's available over-the-counter.

I used Donormyl in Paris the first time I went and brought some home, because I found it to be extremely effective in letting me fall asleep in a strange bed and sleep soundly. I awakened feeling rested with no drowsiness and had my usual energy during my trip of site seeing. The French bottle said there were 15mg. of doxylamine in each tablet and most of the time I used a half of a tablet..sometime a whole tablet with equal effect. I recommend this product and though I use it seldom, I gave some to a friend the other night who suffers from horrible insomnia and she was so grateful the next day to have had a good nights sleep!

I used Donormyl FOR THE FIRST TIME AND I HAD DIFFICULTY FALLING TO SLEEP IT DIDNT SEEM TO MAKE ME SLEEPY WHEN I FIRST TRIED THE PRODUCT,SO I WENT BACK TO TAKING OVER THE COUNTER UNISOM IT HAS THE SAME DOXYLAMINE SUCCINATE ,25MG. ACTIVE INGREDIENT IN EACH TABLET THAT DONORMYL HAS ONLY 15MG.I THINK BOTH PRODUCTS HAVE EQUAL EFFECTS.I WOULD RECOMMEND THIS PRODUCT TO ANYONE WITH INSOMNIA,I RAN OUT OF UNISOM SO I TRIED DONORMYL AGAIN AND IT WAS EXTREMELY EFFECCTIVE ,I WOULD RECOMMEND THIS PRODUCT.

I have used this a couple of times and slept like a baby. The lack of information available is of course reason to worry, but the bottle I have gives enough information about the doses. I strongly doubt the objectivity of this review, seeing as directly below there are ads for other sleeping medication. I don't think a objective review is possible of any medication if the reviewer is a competing company.
