EZDoze Review: At least it will give you good breath

Have you heard of EZDoze? If you have you are like the rest of us who have trouble sleeping. Recent estimations show that approximately 64 million Americans suffer from insomnia each year. Our fast paced lives have lead to us getting a lot less sleep and our bodies are paying the price. So it is natural that hundreds of different kinds of sleep aids have sprouted up recently.

ome of these sleep aids are powerful prescription medications but can come with horrible side effects and addictive properties, and others are over the counter medications that might be very effective or very weak. With all of the new options it is hard to pick one that might work for you and will not give you any bad side effects.

EZDoze has a novel idea to attract your attention to their product. It is a strip that you place in your mouth and it quickly dissolves, just like one of those little Listerine fresh strips. It’s a neat idea, but does EZDoze really work? Well, unfortunately it does not work nearly as well as you would wish. Lets take a minute to look at some of the problems with EZDoze.

#1: The dissolving strip method that is used by EZDoze is effective for giving you good breath but not for delivering your sleep aid medication. The idea is that it will be quick acting because it will enter the blood stream through your mucous membrane. This logic does not make too much sense to me. Does that mean that when you put one of those fresh breath strips on your tongue, it gets absorbed into your blood stream? Maybe there is some other science behind it that I don’t understand, but there is no explanation on the EZDoze website and from the reviews I have read, this stuff does not work very fast (when it works at all).

#2: I have seen very few reviews that say that EZDoze actually works. Most people said that the strips tasted minty and gave them good breath, but did very little to actually help them fall asleep. From what I read, EZDoze is better for people who have small sleep problems and not actual insomnia or sleeplessness. The reason that EZDoze does not work too well is due to the active ingredients.

#3: The Ingredients in EZDoze are not bad but they are not enough to really make much of a difference. There are only two active ingredients, Phenibut and Melatonin. Phenibut can have unpleasant withdrawal symptoms that can actually lead to more insomnia and extreme anxiety and Melatonin is effective but can be purchased relatively cheaply at any pharmacy. Most importantly, these two ingredients have not been shown to be effective together and there is just no data to support EZDoze!

EZDoze sounds great; it gives you good breath and seems to be easy to take. But come on people; are pills really that hard to take? No. And EZDoze is just another product that relies on a gimmick to attract naïve consumers.
