Fortex Review: Is the Fortex Another Infomercial Crap Exercise Machine?

The Fortex is another product that is marketed by the Slendertone Company. If you don’t know anything about Slendertone, they pretty much specialize in products that are designed to replace a workout at the gym. Do these products work? To some degree, yes they do. But do they work as advertised…definitely not. People…you just cannot replace the effect that you get from hard work, no product will do that for you. But if you are going to buy a product for a quick fix, I still would stay away from anything with the Slendertone name on it, and that is because they make cheap products.

The Fortex is designed to help you with your upper body strength. The actual machine looks like a glorified pump, you pretty much just pull or push one end as you hold it in different positions. Will it make you stronger,? Yes it will. But you could hold two books in your hands, do the same motions and see the same kind of results.

In other words, the Fortex is unnecessary. It would be nice to see some user reviews on the net for the Fortex, but I could only find two or three. But these two or three reviews were very revealing. Each person that reviewed product said that it was much easier than they thought and that the pump did not provide enough resistance to really give you a good workout. Also every review that I read stated that the pump was cheaply made and broke easily.

This is a common problem with Slendertone products and I think these guys really struggle to make a quality product. Personally, if I am going to be spending 100+ dollars on a piece of workout equipment, I would want it made out of something different from cheap plastic. Fortex Conclusion

The Fortex workout system is not for everybody, in fact…I would not recommend it to anybody. If you really are serious about your fitness, you should approach it seriously and not with gimmicky products like the Fortex. I have tried a lot of these quick fix items and while they do make a small difference, you just wont see the results that you will see at the gym. If they did, every athlete and fitness guru in the world would be using them instead of going to the gym.
