Benzoyl Peroxide is an antiseptic. It reduces the number of surface skin bacteria, but does not cause bacterial resistance to antibiotics. What percentage should I use?
Good question. Not only will Benzoyl Peroxide bleach your hair and your shirt (take your shirt off BEFORE applying BP), it can irritate or dry out your skin. I have oily skin, so I use 10%. Those with mild skin should use 5%, and those with dry skin 2.5%.
