What is Lipodrene-SR?

Lipodrene SR is one of many fat burners manufactured by Hi-Tech Pharmaceuticals. The official Lipdrene website says that this diet pill is "result of a decade-plus of research and development by Hi-Tech Pharmaceuticals that provides dramatic weight loss". Extremely doubtful, but statements like this have nothing to do with the efficacy of a fat burner or diet pill, what does matter is its ingredients.

So What are Lipodrene's Ingredients?

Green Tea: Every good fat burner will have Green Tea high in EGCGs. Hi-Tech doesn't disclose what kind of Green Tea they use in Lipodrene SR, so we don't know how effective it is in this supplement.

Caffeine Anhydrous: Do I need to talk about caffeine? It is a stimulant and works very well with green tea to burn fat.

Phenylethylamine: This is the chemical found in chocolate that induces a 'natural high' or elevates your mood. This is what is known as the love drug. PEA is also a stimulant that may increase your metabolic rate and increase feelings of fullness. The bummer is that a lot of supplement companies may say this but again, I wasn't able to find any studies that link PEA to weight loss.

Citrus Aurantium: This ingredient is commonly marketed as the chemical cousin of ephedra. The only difference that there is evidence that supports ephedra to be effective in elevating thermogenesis. I couldn't find anything for citrus aurantium, or synephrine.

Yohimbe: Though it is included in many fat burners, there is no data or research that shows that is effective at burning fat. Yohimbe is often used as a natural aphrodisiac and to treat impotence.

Hoodia Extract: Hoodia is extremely popular and extremely scrutinized. Many researchers say that over 75% of hoodia on the US market is fake. Real South African Hoodia is extremely rare and hard to get.
