Metabolife AquaSlim Review: Too much for nothing
Metabolife recently released a new line of products including Metabolife Breakthrough, Caffeine Free, Extreme Energy and Green Tea, all of these products have two things in common, hydroxycitric acid and they don’t work.
But the list of new products does not stop there; they are also selling a weight loss drink called AquaSlim. It also contains hydroxycitric acid and it also is not very effective. But I still would advise buying AquaSlim over any of the other Metabolife products. Why? Because you are only wasting six dollars instead of twenty?
On the table in front of me, I have a low calorie glass of orange juice that has been fortified with calcium; my glass cost me less than a dollar. I could have paid six dollars and gotten four bottles of AquaSlim that is also fortified with calcium. They promise you that AquaSlim will help you to suppress your appetite and shed some unwanted weight. But I would much rather just stick with my orange juice.
The Metabolife people have put a lot of stock into hydroxycitric acid. As I said before, almost all of their products rely on this ingredient as their key weight loss ingredient. But they should have put their trust into something else. Does hydroxycitric acid actually work and suppress appetite? Maybe, but clinical studies have yet to prove that it has any effect.
In fact, a study that was run on hydroxycitric acid showed that it failed to produce any significant weight loss in the people that were studied. Personally, I believe that hydroxycitric acid may have good potential as an appetite suppressant but it should not stand alone as the only active ingredient in a weight loss product. Well, hydroxycitric acid is the only ingredient in AquaSlim that is intended for weight loss and it is not enough.
Lets pretend for a minute that hydroxycitric acid really was powerful enough to help you loose some weight. Even if it worked, why would you ever buy AquaSlim? One whole bottle of AquaSlim has about as much hydroxycitric acid as one tablet of one of the Metabolife Ultra pills. There are about 45 tablets in the Metabolife Ultra, so that means that you would have to order at least 10 or 11 four-packs of AquaSlim in order to get the same amount of hydroxycitric acid you would get from one bottle of Metabolife Ultra. That’s about 60 dollars, and that is way too much. Now I am not saying that you should run out and buy Metabolife Ultra either, because it only contains hydroxycitric acid as well and as I said before, this stuff really has not been proven to work.
Don’t bother with any of the Metabolife products. They are all too weak to really make any difference and they wont help you to achieve your goals…unless your goal is to waste your money.
