Oxy-Powder Review: Oxygen Based Colon Cleanser?
There is a large market for Colon Cleansers right now and it is due largely to the fact that they show results. Almost every colon cleanser on the market will give you some kind of result because of the diet that is associated with the product and the products colon cleansing ingredients.
Most colon cleansers require a person to drink lots of water and eat only foods that promote a healthy digestive system. So even if the colon cleanser does not work, the person is going to feel better to some degree. This is the case with Oxy-Powder, it is a mediocre product that relies on gimmicks and diet changes to work. Lets take a minute to go over why you would be better off spending your money elsewhere.
The Oxy-Powder Company
At first glance at the Oxy-Powder website it is difficult not to laugh. At the top of the page there is a list of symptoms that can be associated with an unhealthy colon. Symptoms like bad breath and mood swings are listed, and then it says that "if a person suffers from any of these symptoms, that they should take Oxy-Powder"!
Well how convenient! People with bad breath and mood problems don’t need to brush their teeth or take their mood medication anymore, they just need Oxy-Powder! I hope no one is really gullible enough to fall for this kind of trick. Some of the conditions that Oxy-Powder claims to cure can indeed be caused by an unhealthy colon, but are more likely caused by something else.
Now I don’t know about you, but when I am dealing with medicine or supplements, I like straightforward diagnosis with no B.S. I would hate to go to the doctor, tell him that I am healthy as a horse, and still have him prescribe me medication just because he wants to make a buck.
On the Oxy-Powder website, there is a section where you can respond to questions about your colon health and then they will tell you if you need Oxy-Powder or not. Just for fun, I answered all of the questions like I had perfect health and absolutely no problems. After I completed the survey I was still told that I should use Oxy-Powder. So essentially there is no way to get past their diagnosis section without being told to take Oxy-Powder!
Also, the price for the bottles seems fairly low - but take a look at the serving size and dosage. Several bottles are needed to yield any results.
Oxy-Powder's All Natural Ingredients?
Oxy-Powder claims that its effectiveness is because of its simple all natural ingredients. As a smart consumer, you should be wary of believing a product is safe just because it uses all natural ingredients.
There are many things that are “all natural” that can still be toxic, and unfortunately Oxy-Powder uses some of these ingredients. Ozonated ingredients like magnesium can be toxic in your GI track, and while they come in small doses in Oxy-Powder, I would still rather not have them in my Colon! I prefer all natural plant ingredients to ozonated magnesium and germanium any day!
Is Oxy-Powder Habit Forming?
The website says that Oxy-Powder may become habit forming but they believe it would be because a previously existing bowel condition. Sounds a little vague to me.
Oxy-Powder Conclusion
Oxy-Powder may be a decent product, it may help you clean out your colon and it may even get rid of your bad breath and mood swings too. But I don’t like to take chances with my money and I would rather go with a safe bet that will work.
