There is no such thing as a 'Free Trial' when it comes to diet pills. Anybody who has bought products such as Lipocerin or Stripeptin and who have failed miserably to lose weight (or wrinkles) and to get their money back know what I am talking about. These products are all brought to us by the same company. They offer "Free Trials" on all their products, but when this "Free Trial" period expires after 14 days they bill your credit card retail price.

Are you serious? There are so many things wrong about these terms I hardly know where to start. First of all, 14 days for a pretty generic blend of ingredients. Are you going to be convinced that Phenocerin will work within 14 days? If you are a day late, forget about it, you are already in for $150.
I have spoken to people who have ordered Phenocerin who have said that it is really difficult to cancel your "membership" and get your money back.
About Phenocerin
Apart from the highly unethical autoship / free trial, we should take a look at the actual diet pill. If you visit the official Phenocerin site, it claims to:
"Boost metabolism and curb cravings for maximum weight loss"
"Lose weight fast and safe - Clinically Proven"
There were "Clinical Studies" done on two of Phenocerin's ingredients - Hoodia and Chromium Picolinate. This is a trick used often in diet pill marketing. You see there were no studies done on the effectiveness on Phenocerin, only on 2 of its 21 ingredients. Not only were these studies not legitimate double-blind tests, they were done almost a decade ago.
Hoodia is good, but it is really cheap and needs to be taken at high doses. What Phenocerin failed to mention was that the amounts of hoodia and chromium administered in the trials were almost 10 times the amount that you get in 1 serving of Phenocerin. This means that you most likely will not see any of the results stated in the clinical study.
The promotional materials for this product make some rather offensive statements if you are sensitive about your weight. Take a look:
“How do you want to be remembered by your loved ones? As an invalid, old, tired, and too out of shape to enjoy life properly?”
The website also states, “Your self-image and even your life depend on your choosing to take action now.”
Shame on you Phenocerin.

Phenocerin Conclusion
Although Phenocerin contains a miniscule amount of Hoodia Gordonii I was amazed that they promoted it so heavily. And to even mention the "free trial" makes me absolutely livid as a consumer. I would never buy Phenocerin or any product that offers a free trial without reading the fine print. Due to the incredibly minute amount of active ingredients in this product, you probably won't have any success in 60 days, let alone the 14 given to you.
There are several other Hoodia formulations available that contain lots of Hoodia Gordonii and that cost less than $20. Take a look at Hoodia-GP57. It doesn't contain all the other fluff found in Phenocerin, just one pure active ingredient - Hoodia.

Phenocerin - free trial offer is a sham
I fell for the free trial offer - took the pills for one day and suffered from stomach cramps. A week later I had to leave town for a death in my family - by the time I came back and returned to business at home, my checking account had bounced, as they had deducted the $49 and another $99 dollars for a 3 months supply (which I still have not received). I e-mailed and telephoned customer service to try to be reimbursed the $150 (not to mention the $20 for an overdraft) and they tell me because the shipment has already been mailed out, I can't return it and have the $99 refunded. This is an incredible rip off, but I have no idea of where to turn to get my money back. If anyone has any suggestions, I would appreciate it.

THEY TOLD ME I COULD RETURN IT BUT I WOULD GET NO REFUND WITHOUT A "RMA #", THAT THEY WILL NOT GIVE YOU! SO AFTER GOING ROUND AND ROUND WITH LATISHA SHE GAVE ME HER SUPERVISOR. CLEE ANNE SAID SHE WOULD ONLY CHARGE 49.00 AND TO KEEP THE 3 BOTTLE SHIPMENT THEY HAD JUST SHIPPED. WHAT A RIPOFF!!!! THE BACK OF THE MAGIZINE SAYS AND I QUOTE "RISK FREE 100% SATISFACTION GUARANTEE" THATS RIGHT "RISK FREE 100% SATISFACTION GUARANTEE THAT THEY WILL RIP YOU OFF!!!" TOTAL RIP OFF!!!!!!!
I too was scammed like everyone else. I was stupid enough to try the trial offer. When I was charged again in January for my 3 month supply, which I NEVER received, they told me they terminated my membership but they would not refund my money. After going back and forth with Latisha, I gave up. Then in April they charged me AGAIN!!! I was so upset. I called and spoke with David who was so rude! When I asked to speak to a supervisor he said I would get the same answer that he gave me: I can return the product and the membership will be terminated again but I will not receive my refund. Then after 15 minutes of arguing he changed his tune and said the reason I wasn't going to get the refund is because I can't provide him with a RMA #, which wasn't given to be my Latisha the first time. In fact, I had no idea I needed this information....there was not mention of it in my conversation with Latisha. Now 3 weeks later, I am disputing the charges with my bank. They are claiming they will refund my money if I send back the product. So I had to call the bank and explain yet again....I DIDN'T RECEIVE ANY PRODUCT!!! And this company KNOWS that. So after a back and forth battle the supervisor finally settled on me signing a waiver that lets them track the packages so I can get my refund. But I know this is another way of post-poning the refund because the dispute isn't over "delivery" it's over "non-receipt". Thus if they don't have my signature signing for it, which they don't, then I will keep fighting them. I will take them all the way to small claims if I have to. Everyone contact your bank/credit card and dispute the charges. By the way, don't let the bank/credit card companies try to tell you they won't help you because it's a "contract" dispute not a "charge" dispute. No one signed anything or received anything with a counter-signature thus there are not grounds to call it a contract. My bank tried to do that with me but he didn't know I am a contracts manager, so I think I know how contracts work. Regardless of the Terms and Coniditions! Trust me....fight this!
