I loved it but...

I loved this pill and it is possibly the best diet pill ever. However, the side effects can be a little overwhelming. I would feel amazing for the first three hours after I took my pill...after that it was a total crash. I was extremly irratable and my heart would race. Most people lost 5 lbs per week. I lost 15 in two week with diet and excercise, but after about a month of taking it I had really scary side effects such as a stiff neck and nausia...sometimes my scalp would even feel like there were a thousand tiny bugs crawling all over it. Very creepy. It does tend to mess with your mind a little. I don't recommend this for people with high blood pressure or heart problems.

phentermine does take the weight off fast, but you will put the weight back on quicker than you loss it after you get off the pill (which is very hard to do)i did expereince extreme dry mouth and insomnia for the first month after 3months my blood pressure was high and i had to get on medication

:-D I love this product!! I do this with the B12 shots. I only have the dry mouth. I started 7/17/09, yesterday I got on three different scales I lost 18lbs. already. I DID EVERYTHING my doctor told me to do. I eat only 975 calories a day, but I eat 3 pieces of salmon (broiled), steak (broiled), and NO PASTA!!! When you get on ANY TYPE of weight loss medication, your blood pressure is supposed to be checked. The doctor, (if the doctor is not your primary), then asks a series of questions, e.g. does your family have a history of high blood pressure, etc. Also, a lot of people on these forums are not being honest. They THINK they can eat WHATEVER they want, but is that not what got most of us here in the first place? I had a baby 5/10/08, prior to that I broke my foot. I gained 50Lbs. since both. I still have the foot problems now, but I still go the gym now and deal with it. I would rather lose 90lbs. and be healthy than be overweight with sore ankles. Truthfully, all of the junk I ate that got me to this weight is enough to scare me. I went to Wildwood, N.J. last week and was so disgusted with myself I did not want to take off my cover up. Found this very good for losing weight. After about a week and half I only needed to take a tablet every other day. Bit later on down the line I used to take a tablet evabout 3 times a week. I did experience some side effects. Headaches, dry mouth and itchy head. Also slight insomnia. However, the results were great. Had a baby 7 months ago and am contemplating trying them again.

I start on my diet a few months ago under a doctor's supervision. He prescribed phentermine, B-12 injections, 5-htp before dinner and melatonin at bed time. I have dropped from 270 to 226 in just over 4 months. I also follow a 1600 calorie diet. I walk or jog 3 miles every other day and play golf. My biggest issue was eating at night before bed. On previous diets, I could eat light all day but when it came to 10 o'clock at night, I would watch tv and snack until I became drouzey in a carb coma. I was wasting my time. I still struggle a bit at night but the urge to eat/snack before bed is going away and so are the pounds. If you want to try phentermine, get with a doctor and follow his/her directions. My doctor specializes in weight loss.

I justed started taking Phentermine and already lost 5 pounds. The pill works amazing, but I do have mild side effeccts dry mouth, some insomnia, but just recently I've been having the side effect of shortness of breath. I've been on and off Phentermine over the past 2 years and I've never experience this side effect before. I've struggled with my weight and I've tired to lose weight witout the pill but I've had no success so I turn back to Phentermine and it helps me out. Should I be concerned about the short ness of breath ?

I started Phentermine 37.5 in March 2010. i went from 262 pounds at 5'8" to 185 pounds by Nov. 09. I had minor issues of heart racing, insomnia and dry mouth. I had to make myself eat after being on it awhile. I would definately recommend this, if prescribed from a Dr. as there have beenpeople that had blood pressure problems with it. I hope to get back on it after I have my baby.
