Adipex Diet Pill (Adipex-P)

What is Adipex?

Adipex, or Adipex-P is a sympathomimetic amine, which is similar to an amphetamine. It is also known as an “anorectic” or “anorexigenic” drug. The more common name of Adipex is Phentermine. Phentermine is one of the most popular prescription weight loss pills available. You can get an idea of this by how many Phentermine 'knock-offs' there are. Seriously, last time I counted there were close to 20 different products who have simply misspelled Phentermine and dupe people into thinking it is the real deal. Not so.Phentermine is available only at a pharmacy.

Adipex is used along with a doctor-approved, reduced-calorie diet, exercise, and behavior change program to help you lose weight. It is used in people who are significantly overweight (obese) and have not been able to lose enough weight with diet and exercise alone. Losing weight and keeping it off can reduce the many health risks that come with obesity, including heart disease, diabetes, high blood pressure, and a shorter life.

How Does Adipex Work?

Adipex stimulates the central nervous system (nerves and brain), which increases your heart rate and blood pressure and decreases your appetite. It is one of the more effective diet pills available on the market but only with a prescription. That being said, it is not known how Adipex helps people to lose weight. It may work by decreasing your appetite, increasing the amount of energy used by your body, or by affecting certain parts of the brain. This medication is an appetite suppressant and belongs to a class of drugs called sympathomimetic amines.

What is an Amphetamine?

An Amphetamine is a stimulant and an appetite suppressant. It stimulates the central nervous system (nerves and brain) by increasing the amount of certain chemicals in the body. This increases heart rate and blood pressure and decreases appetite, among other effects.

Does Adipex Have Any Side Effects?

Dizziness, dry mouth, difficulty sleeping, irritability, nausea, vomiting, diarrhea, or constipation may occur. If these effects persist or worsen, notify your doctor or pharmacist promptly. Young adults who abuse amphetamines may be at greater risk of suffering a heart attack. Withdrawal from chronic recreational use of amphetamines can include anxiety, depression, agitation, fatigue, excessive sleeping, increased appetite, psychosis and suicidal thoughts.

Adipex Customer Reviews

"I started this supplement October 29th. The first few days were a little rough for me. I had bad headaches, dizziness, nausea, and low energy. I worked out some kinks. I have to be sure I don't take the medicine on an empty stomach. I usually have a protein bar just before time to take it or just after. The Nausea, headaches and dizziness have subsided and my energy is picking up. I have not weighed in yet but I feel confident that I have lost some weight. This is a good program; I have known several people that have successfully lost weight with it. Just hang in there, the first week may be a little rough but it will get better. Also I have not had any trouble sleeping at night and I feel fabulous in the mornings. I have not overslept since starting the medicine and that is normally a daily thing for me."

"I agree this product will make you drop the pounds. I took it a few years ago to lose weight after having a baby. In 6 weeks I lost 17 lbs. I have gained that wieght back plus more. I've decided to try it again. I have so much energy I can't sit still. The down side is I can't concentrate. I'm very moody. I can't fall asleep for at least an hour after going to bed. Sometimes I can feel my heart beating to fast. If I don't start showing serious weight loss I may stop taking it because of all the side effects."

"I've been taking Adipex for about 3 weeks now and I'll tell you I have more energy and my appetite has decreased dramatically. I am able to stay on my 1400 calorie a day diet without any hunger pangs. I don't know how much weight I've lost yet, but my co-workers say they see it. I just know I'm not going to stop until I reach my goal of 200 lbs by my 50th birthday...January, 2009. I started out weighing 276 lbs."

How much is Adipex?

A 30 day supply of 60 37.5mg tablets retails for $159. Ouch! Don't let the fact that it is a prescription drug fool you. In recent months the prescription turned non-prescription drug Orlistat has become available in the form of Alli - which has become one of the most poopular, I mean popular diet pills ever.

buy alliApidexin is "the" prescription-free alternative to Adipex-P. Apidexin contains 8 clinically proven weight loss ingredients. Apidexin retails for $99.95 but is available here for as little as $24.99! Act Fast on this limited-time offer!

Adipex Conclusion

Adipex is a strong weight loss pill that was designed for the morbidly obese. If you have between 10-50 pounds to lose, you probably don't fall into that category. The long-term side effects of Adipex are pretty serious. There are plenty of Adipex alternatives available and would consider using one of those safer alternatives before taking a chance on Adipex.

This pill works, and works fast! Although it can be hard to get from a doctor, if u are over weight this is deffenetly the right pill to take. I lost 33 lbs. in 3 months. My friends take it and have gotten the same results. It takes away your appitite so you should try changing your eating habbits while your on it, because when I stop taking it I start gaining the weight back. I only take it for 3 months at a time. It seems safe, once in awhile I notice a chenge in breath but not anything dramatic. I highly reccomend this pill, and Ive always gotten the off brand, it goes for $20.-$25. It works fast!

Adipex Review
I have used Adipex about 3 times already and every time I have used it I've had excellent results. I am not over weight at all but I felt over weight so I asked my doctor if I could try it out. There are tests involved when taking Adipex for the first time, such as blood work and getting your thyroid checked, but if all turns out okay you can get the pill. You can only use it for 3 months at a time no more then that. Within the first week I lost about 5-8 pounds, but like I said I am not over weight I just wanted a smaller stomach. This pill is great, you get a little hyper but that is what it does, your heart races and it's like being on speed so you can burn the calories as your working or cleaning the house. At times I find it hard to go to sleep at night so I would recommend taking the pill at about 5am so you can go to sleep at night. The point is this pill is a GREAT way to loose weight and I would recommend it to anyone!

adipex results
I have been using adipex for a month now. I have lost only 5 pounds. I exercise on the treadmill almost everyday and never less than 3 times a week. I walk for an hour each time(3 miles). I have not felt hyper at all. As a matter of fact, the opposite is true for me. I feel tired and stay sleepy all the time. I am not overweight but wanted to lose 10-12 vanity pounds(as my doctor calls it.) I can't continue to take adipex due to the tired, sleepy feeling. I take them about 6:00 am and haven't had a problem falling asleep at night. I do, however wake up after about 4 hours of sleep. It takes me a little while to get back to sleep.
#3 - vickie - 11/10/2008 - 10:57
As a first time user of Adipex, I must say I was very skepticle of what my results would be considering my physician made me sit down and set a goal weight for myself. I used the Adipex for 2.5 months and lost 32 lbs., which was 2 more lbs. than I had set out to lose. I definately think that this was worth buying. I do have a bit of trouble now that I am off the prescription due to the fact that I want to sleep alot, however I get up and do things that need to be done. Once you see the results of this pill, it makes you have lots of will power that you never saw in yourself before. I would recommend this to anyone who is serious about their health and lifestyle.

adipex
I have tried adipex three times. Each time I use it I always get results. The first time I lost about 30 pounds and 3 inches off my waist in one month! The second time it wasn't as effective because I did't take the pills consistantly. This is my thrid time and I have been on them for a week 1/5 and I have lost 7 pounds. What I am doing differently is trying to change my eating habbits so that when I am off the pill the weight will not come back. I would recommend adipex if you really want to lose weight and lose it fast...the only thing is keeping the weight off! Oh yeah, the one side affect I hate about adipex is the dry mouth!!!!!!!!!!!B-)

I HAVE BEEN ON ADIPEX FOR 5 MONTHS NOW AND I LOVE IT BECAUSE YOU DO LOSE THE WEIGHT IF YOU CHANGE YOUR EATING HABITS AND WALK AT LEAST 10-15 MINUTES, A DAY. I GO TO THE BARIATIC CLINC, AND THEY HAVE THE HCG SHOTS THAT ALSO MAKES LOSE WEIGHT ALONG WITH THE ADIPEX.. I HAVE LOST 67 POUNDS SINCE AUGUST 15,2008 AND ALL I DO IS WALK THREE TO FOUR TIMES A WEEK AND WATCH WHAT I EAT AND HOW MUCH OF IT AND DRINK PLENTY OF WATER THATS THE MAIN KEY AND IF I DO GET HUNGRY I EAT A BOWL OF CERAL OR EAT SOME FRUIT, SEE I FOUND MYSELF EATING AT THE WRONG TIMES AND THE WRONG FOODS SO I TRY NOT TO EAT NOTHING BUT FRUIT OR CERAL AFTER 7:00P.M. ITS NOT REALLY WHAT YOU EAT,ITS HOW MUCH U EAT OF IT,I WAS AT 284 POUNDS WHEN I STARTED GOING TO THE BARIATRIC CLINC AND I WENT DOWN FROM SIZE 26 JEANS 10 SIZE 16 BUT I DO CHEAT AND EAT JUNK FOOD I JUST DO EAT A LOT OF IT AND I HATE THE SIDE EFFECTS OF THE MEDICINE, BUT IT ALSO HELPS ME TO REMEMBER THAT I COULD HAVE HAD A DEADLY EFFECT FROM OVER EATTING, GOOD LUCK EVERYONE AND GOD BLESS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

adipex
I have just started taking adipex, have only been taking it about 2 weeks now. I have lost 12 lbs so far. I don't have too many of the side effects listed, but I have noticed that I do get dry mouth. I dont get the jitters or the rapid heart beat. I have had to have several surgeries and am forced to stay inactive for now. I have noticed that my appetite is nowhere near what it used to be. I can eat only once or twice a day and I don't get hungry in between. If I choose to snack I am satisfied with a smaller portion. Like the other person I have found if I do get hungry later at night, I can eat a bowl of cereal or some juice and it seems to satisfy the urges to eat. I am just worried about it being an amphetamine. I have read that it does have a habit forming problem and that it should only be used in 3 month increments. I just don't want to be hooked on something just for my weight. I am considered to be obese, I was 284 when I started and now I am 264. That was my last weight. But if it works then I guess that is the goal. Congrats to all who have and are succeeding with this.

ADIPEX
I AM VERY HAPPY WITH THE RESULTS I HAVE GOTTEN FROM TAKING ADIPEX. THIS IS THE FIRST TIME I HAVE EVER TAKEN A WEIGHT LOSS DRUG. I STARTED TAKING THEM A WEEK AGO AND HAVE LOST 15 POUNDS SO FAR. I AM NOT HUNGRY AND DONT CRAVE SWEETS THE WAY I USED TO. WHEN I DO WANT SOMETHING SWEET I WILL EAT A LOW CALORIE GRANOLA BAR OR PUDDING. I HAVE ALSO STARTED DRINKING A LOT MORE WATER SUCH AS VITAMIN WATER OR SOBE WHICH ONLY HAVE 40 CALORIES. I DID HAVE THE SIDE EFFECTS SUCH AS RACING HEART, HEADACHE AND COTTON MOUTH. I ONLY HAVE THE COTTON MOUTH IN THE MORNING NOW, AND HAVE ALOT MORE ENERGY AND A LITTLE HYPER BUT IT IS A GREAT PILL FOR ANYONE WANTING TO LOSE WEIGHT AND GET FAST RESULTS!!;-)

Adipex
Adipex is an amazing product. I've been taking adipex for 10 days and I've already lost 13 lbs without exercise. I'm 4'11 and starting weight of 148 lbs. I take 1/2 tab in the mornings and that's enough for me. It gives me a huge booste of energy that lasts all day long. I don't have that crash like I did with many OTC products. Adipex is the BEST appetite suppressant out there. I forget to eat and most of the time I must make myself eat something because I don't crave food like I used to. I used to think about eating all day long, not anymore. The only side effect I have is dry mouth and I feel the need to drink water more than I used to. That's it. Before getting the RX for Adipex I had to get blood work to check for thyroid problems, an EKG to check for heart problems and a full exam. It was all worth it because this is helping me reach my goal of -30 lbs. I also take a mult vitamin daily.

Adipex
I started using Adipex in June of 2008, and was on it for about five months. I lost 40 pounds, and feel great now. I started going to the Bariatrics Center, and taking vitamin shots as well. I do have to admit to having almost all of the side affects that I looked up online - dry mouth, trouble sleeping, mood swings, horrible headaches, the works! I got the results, and I was super organized during those months...but it was also hard to deal with. Once I stopped taking it in October, I had problems coming off of it. I've never really been a depressed person. I am always super positive and happy, but that was probably one of the weirdest times in my life. I recommend people to take it, but at the same time...realize what you are taking. Anything that becomes a part of your daily routine, your body remembers once you stop. Example - try to quit coffee cold turkey...very similar. It's 2009, and I have not put any weight back on. I continue to stay active, and jog with my Yorkie about four times a week. I eat so much better, and have a completely new outlook on food. Just be careful and don't give up!

adipex
I've had great results w/ adipex, however, I got cocky an started eating whatever I wanted while taking the medication. Then came the holidays, I stopped adipex but not completely. I would take one here and there but the pills werent working as well as they did in the begining. They would actually do the opposite, make me tire and make me sickly hungry!! I took a month vacation from them in hopes that they'll start working like they used to, before I take them again, DOES ANYONE KNOW IF A MONTH IS ENOUGH TIME TO GET THEM OUT OF YOUR SYSTEM?? I have gained back the weight I lost plus 2 more llbs and really need to lose them and do it right this time! HELP!:-D
#17 - CAN SOMEONE HELP... - 01/28/2009 - 23:07
Adipex
I started taking adipex a few years ago and the first time I took it I lost 30lbs in 3 months. Then, I stopped taking it and gained all the weight back plus some even though I maintained my diet and exercise. So, then I tried it agian and the same thing happened. I just keep going back to it because for that year that you're losing weight and look and feel great it just makes you want to keep doing it even though it's failed before. I'm pretty much addicted and everyone I know that has tried adipex gained it all back plus more so don't think that when you take it it will be any different. I started out at 160lbs and am now approaching 200. So in the long run- adipex really made me gain a LOT of weight.

Adipex
I started Adipex on 2/3/09 as of yesterda, 2/12/09 I was down 8.6 lbs. This is with no exercise. I am very pleased with the results. As far as the side effects, the first day was not one of my better days... I find to have dry mouth .. If I don't drink atleast 100oz (about 5 of my cups) worth of water a day I have HORRIBLE headaches in the afternoon. I've noticed I am not sleeping as much.. but I don't feel "exhausted".. nor do I have tons of energy/feel an energy boost. I am hoping to introduce excerising into my diet starting next week.

I use to be a person where I wouldn't leave the table until my food was gone and would go back for 2nd, 3rd, even 4ths. Man could I eat! I could do a Large pizza all on my own, NO PROBLEM. The other night at dinner we had chicken strips... My meal came with 5 strips... I gave one to my sister, ate one and three went home in a doggy bag.. that would have NEVER happened before prior to Adipex.

ADIPEX
I have only been on adipex for one week so far and i have already lost 5 pounds! I love adipex because it helps decrease my hunger, and gives me energy to exercise and do things that I had quit doing! The only thing I have done so far is walk about 30mins to an hour 5 days a week and I watch my calories and only eat breakfast, lunch, and supper... This is great so far! Only problem is dry mouth! Good luck to everyone!:-D

ADIPEX
I WORK IN A MEDICAL FACILITY WHERE ADIPEX IS PRESCRIBED. I HAD NEVER HEARD OF IT BEFORE AND I, AT THE TIME, WAS ABOUT 35 POUNDS OVERWEIGHT. WHEN I FIRST STARTED TAKING ADIPEX, IT WAS THE GREATEST. I WAS LOSING WEIGHT QUICKLY WITH ABOUT 30 MINUTES OF EXERCISE A DAY. IT DEFINITELY SUPPRESSED MY APPETITE. I WAS NERVOUS ABOUT TAKING IT TOO BECAUSE I REALLY DO NOT LIKE PILLS SO I ONLY TOOK 1/2 A PILL A DAY. THE ONLY PROBLEM I EXPERIENCED WAS I NEVER WANTED TO SLEEP. BUT EVEN THOUGH I WAS ONLY GETTING ABOUT 3-4 HOURS A NIGHT, I STILL FELT RESTED THE NEXT DAY. CURRENTLY I AM TAKING MY THIRD MONTH OF THE PILL AND SO FAR I HAVE LOST 25 POUNDS.THE PATIENTS WHO THIS IS PRESCRIBED TO VARY IN WEIGHT LOSS. IT REALLY DEPENDS ON YOUR MOTIVATION. SOME OF THEM LOSE 15 POUNDS A MONTH WHILE OTHERS ONLY LOSE 2. I NO LONGER EXPERIENCE PROBLEMS WITH SLEEPING, BUT I DO NOTICE NOW MY MOUTH FEELS DRY AND IT DEFINITELY ISN'T AS EFFECTIVE AS IT WAS IN THE BEGINNING. IT USED TO GIVE ME ENERGY ALL DAY BUT NOW IT ONLY LAST FOR A SHORT WHILE AND I HAVE NO PROBLEM FALLING ASLEEP. I DO RECOMMEND THIS MEDICATION TO OTHERS. IF NOTHING ELSE, IT DOES MAKE YOU REALIZE HOW POSSIBLE IT IS TO LOSE WEIGHT. BEFORE TAKING THIS MEDICATION IT WAS SO HARD FOR ME TO LOSE A POUND. IN THE TIME PERIODS THAT I HAVEN'T BEEN TAKING ADIPEX I KNOW THAT IT IS POSSIBLE BY EATING LESS AND MOVING MORE. IN MY OPINION THE SIDE EFFECTS ARE DEFINITELY WORTH THE CONFIDENCE YOU WILL GET ONCE THOSE POUNDS START DROPPING.

:-) I really enjoyed reading all of the feedback on Adipex considering I just started it 4 days ago. I am praying for positive results. It's nice to read all the tips. I have not weighed myself but feel as though I am doing very well this far. It definately takes my hunger away, and it IS an excellent time to change your eating habits now. I am using it for, a "jumpstart". I weighed in at 277lbs. the heaviest I have ever been in my life. I am fed up, scared to get heart disease or turn into a diabetic so I am determined to lose the weight. Plus, I have a thyroid that is totally non-functioning! I find the only time I get hungry or a rumbly tummy is like 9pmish, like i'm wanting that night night snack! I also have noticed it hard to fall back to sleep when i get up to use the potty (from drinking a ton of h20)! I did have diareaha the first couple of days. I wish me and you all the luck!

Adipex
:-D I started Adipex yesterday, I've lost 5lbs already! My goal is 40-45lbs, some of the weight I gained when my thyroid went nuts! The only side effects I've had so far is dry mouth, but its made me drink more water than normal! I also had a little bit of a hard time sleeping completely through the night, I kept waking up. I woke up wide awake though! I'm hoping I don't build a tolerance to it too quickly and it stops working! I've had the hardest time losing weight until now and its great! I'll start working out on Monday I didn't want to freak my body out more, but I'm sure with exercise I'll have better results! My friend took them for 3months and lost 50lbs doing nothing! So it is possible! However I'd like to get healthy so I can keep it off!

My right eyes been twitching since yesterday, is there a connection or just a coincidence?

Hi, It has only been a week today and I have already lost 5 pounds. I am praying that this will work I have completely changed my diet and I decided not to exercise until week 2, I guess I was trying to see if it really worked. Now that I know I am hoping to lose about 50 pounds within the next 4 months.

Adipex
I took Adipex about 2 years ago and lost 50 pounds! It was wonderful & gave me a lot of energy...I was walking EVERY day and really enjoying it. I stopped taking it and continued to walk and kept the weight off. Last year I hurt my ankle and couldn't walk as much and put the weight back on FAST. I found an old bottle of the pills and started taking them here & there since I don't have a lot. I'm going to the dr. tomorrow to see if he will prescribe me some more. I would recommend using it as a jump start to a regular diet. My side effects including the dry mouth (which I think is supposed to be b/c it caused you to drink more water - which is great for losing weight), I had bad headaches within the first few days of taking it, and I get heart palpatations. I'm not sure what they came from, but I will ask my dr. about them tomorrow - I don't want to give myself a heart attack or anything! Good luck & God bless to u all!

:-) Thanks for the reviews. They helped me a 6 weeks ago to decide to go to the doctor and give Adipex a try. I weighted 175 and am 5'4". First month I loss 20 pounds! Side effects: dry mouth (water, water, water),a little trouble sleeping, some increase in energy, and not feeling so hungry. I have started haveing some trouble with consipation which is also a side effect so am haveing to address that now. Overall, I have been happy with results. I do seem to have hit a platau since I have not lost any weight in about 2 weeks but figure my body is adjusting. Maybe if i get started on the treadmill... Good luck to all!

Adipex-P
:-D I just started taking the pill yesterday 5-14-09. I am very exicited and have heard MANY GREAT things about adipex.I was 130 pounds when I married my sweetheart and now 10 years and 3 kids later,I just weighted in at 207.5. I just had our 3rd little bundle of joy 5 months ago and although my husband still tells me how beautiful I am everyday,I really need to make a change for myself :) Thanks you for everyone who has left reviews, because you have helped me with my decisions about talking the pill. GOOD LUCK TO EVERYONE WHO IS ON ADIPEX OR THINKING OF TAKING ADIPEX. OH YEAH! WISH ME LUCK :) Talk to ya in a few :)

adipex
I just started these pills yesterday and I was at the store and I ususally NEED a chocolate bar from the check out stand lol but with the pill just looking at the sweets made me sick knowing that they have crazy amounts of sugar and cals where as before I didnt really care! I feel so confidant about my weight loss! I weighted in at about 248! so I gotta lose 100 pounds! I felt so hopeless to tackle such a number but now I have real hope of doing it! I do have a slight head ache and dry mouth and sleeplessness but I think those side effects are'nt as terrible as getting diabetes or heart attack from being obese! I am concerned about the safety of this drug though. If any one can tell me if I should be worried about SERIOUS and PERMANENT side effects of this drug I would really appreciate. I wanna be here for my son and I want to be a health example for him! I wish you luck and many blessings to all who are on these journy! ;-)

adipex
this is my second time taking it and i have gained some of the weight back everytime but it was only when my diet change. for those who said you will gain all your weight back then some what did you do different this time cause you r scaring me. as a third time user i would say when you get off stay off the scale and go by how your cloths fit but it is important to watch ur carb count even more at this time. i have heard both sides some gain weight after taking this med some don't.

Adipex
:-D

I am 21 years old, with two little boys 20 months apart. I gained 80 lbs with the first baby, and I did not lose any weight due to severe post partum depression. I got pregnant with my second child at 209lbs and when I had him I weighed 254lbs.
My poor body ( size 2 120lbs) all through HS could not handle the weight.
I lost about 30 lbs on my own after my second son... breast feeding really helped. But... I was still overweight and could barely keep up with my 2 year old.
I went to my doctor and started the weight loss program. I have been on adipex for 3 months now and I have lost 60 lbs. I have been strictly eating HEALTHY... and working out. My goal is to get back to what I use to be!
I drink almost a gallon of water everyday because I do not want my skin to be loose and saggy. I am suprised my skin has retracted back the way it has.

My Pros
I have to remind myself to eat.
My temptations for sweets.. are no longer there.
I have alot of energy.

Cons
I think this is one of the most talked about side effects.. difficulty sleeping...
Thank goodness for ambien!

ADIPEX
I've been on Adipex for around 7 months now..I weight 189 at the time when down to 170. I've started taking 1/2 pill at first cause when I took a whole one I felt weird..so took half for a while and lost like 10 went to the Doc and he told me I had to take a whole pill for the pounds to start melting off..well I did and I've been down a total of 20 but that's it. It goes from 15-20 not one more pound and i do walk at least 3 times a week...I'm really dissapointed on the whole thing..I do watch what I eat even have oatmeal in the morning just to keep myself fuller longer maybe Adipex is not for me..i have a friend that lost lots of weight with it and she looks great! Tired of trying diet pills!!

ADIPEX
:-)I have been on ADIPEX for a week now and so far so good.
This is the first time I have ever used a diet pill, and I was a little nervous, but I have not had any bad side affects. I have been a size 5-7 all my life, and when I had my first child I gained 70lbs and have not gone down to my normal weight of 130-140. SO the results have been awesome. I eat so little now and I exercise 4-5x a week just walking 40-60min a time. I was 164 when I started and now I am 158. I can't believe how this pill works. The wieght is finally coming off.I hope it works for you too. If we can just change our eating habits we would never need to use a pill that could have some long term side affects. GOOD LUCK

Adipex
:-D
I started Adipex yesterday (6-26-09)and am pleased to say that I LOVE this pill!! I am down 5 lbs. in one day. I know that it is water weight but that is fine with me! I went to the DR. on 6-25-09 which happened to be my youngests 6th bday and when I was weighed I had a realty check that I weigh the same that day as the day she was born - 229. I never had trouble loosing weight before, I was back to pre baby weight six months after I had her but the last few years the weight kept creeping back on. I tried WW a few times and many other numerous ways to loose weight and would only loose about 10 lbs. and stop loosing. My DR told me that diet pop should be cut out completely because of the artifical sweetner prevents you from loosing weight. I thought that this would be a problem for me (I would drink a 2 liter of diet pop a day +) but while on Adipex all I want is water! Yes the dry mouth is a nuisance but I am fine with it because all you want is water. I used to think about food all the time and I now I dont even think about it. Just remember that you can not take this forever so while on it change your eating habits and exercise so after the 3 months of taking this it will be easier.

Adipex 37.5
LucyLue, just to let you know. Oatmeal in the mornings is one of the WORST things you can do. It clogs up your system, and makes you retain water. Thats no good. You should try taking the pill right when you wake up and then eating a light breakfast about an hour later, maybe a peice of bacon and some eggs. Or just some fruit. I just started taking adipex this past wednesday (5 days ago) and I have already lost 14.5 lbs. I feel so much better already! I haven't had any sleepless nights so far, the only problem i had was the first day I took it I got kinda jittery. Other than that its been wonderful! No head aches, no sickness. I've had a big boost in engery, but i've suffered from an immune system deficiency since I was about 13 and it causes me to be tired all the time. The thought of gaining all my weight back in the end scares me, I need to lose about 50 lbs, and I just can't see working this hard, just to let myself gain it back. Hopefully I'll have the will power to keep it off! Good luck to you all!!

Apidexin
My friend and I both decided to try Apidexin at the same time. With all the Hype about this product we thought for sure it would work on us. We both have different body types and both with different amounts we want to lose. Well, its been a week since the Detroxufree72 and Apidexin together and not a whole lot. We lost 14 pounds between us. We followed a diet and did cardio 45min a day. Aside from the hot flashes we both had, I got the shakes and felt extremely dizzy. We both also experienced terrible headaches. It's just not worth putting your body through to lose a few pounds. A lesson learned. THERE IS NO MIRACLE PILL. I guess I'll do it the old fashioned slow way. Good Luck to everyone.

Adipex
I started talking adipex november 2008 and stayed on them for about three month's. I was 160 Lbs and droped down to 130Lbs. I started to get sick, like morning sickness. I missed my period so i bought a pragnancy test and i found out i was pragnent in the ending of Feburary 2009. So i immediately stoped taking adipex. I gained all my weight back during pragnancy. I found out i was having a miscarriage in april 2009. I was three months praganant. I lost my baby. I told my doctor i was taking adipex in the beginning of my pragnancy and i had no idea i was pragnant. My doctor told me that adipex was not the reason for my miscarriage but i think it's bull fuckin shit!!! It was my mistake, i should have been on birth control!! When i use to take adipex i would feel my heart beat so fast like it's going to pop out of my chest. So during pragnancy God only knows how fast my babys heart beat was going! I blame my self for not being on any form of birth control, anyways i just wanted to let the females know if your taking adipex make sure your on birth control. After my miscarriage in april 2009, i started up on my birth control asap. I wanted to start taking adipex again but i made my self wait two month's so the birth control would for sure kick in my system and work. So i seen my doctor three days ago and now i am back on adipex. Lady's be careful. Just a warning so no one will make that stupid mistake! Take care and God bless.

ADIPEX
Well do I have a story for you. My best friend Jackie weighted up near 215 pounds at her heaviest. Most of her weight gain was due to having her son, (MY GODSON), weighing close to 10 pounds at birth. Anyways Feb of 2007 she started taking adipex, & as a stay at home mom, she did did a lot of running around. She's an excellent cook, so eating decently wasnt an issue for her. Thing is, being on this pill, its not so much about diet as it is excersize. While on Adipex, she did have the cotton mouth effect alot, which isnt bad b/c water is what you crave to quench it. Long story short, after some Tai-Bo at the house, or walking for 30 mins a day, she managed to drop down to 130 pounds by Aug 2007. Her transformation was amazing. She looked like a different person. Once she hit her goal weight her diet doc stopped perscribing her the adipex, and she knew that once off the pill she had to keep it up. So yeah it is neccesary to keep up a excersize/meal routine, after getting off of it. Her rule was to not eat after 7pm, keep drinking lots of water, and hey make sure to at least work out 3 to 4 times a week for at least 30 mins. She stayed away from pop as much as she could because the sugar content in that is crazy, even in the diet pop. Well she was able to keep it up until she gave birth to her second child, (My Goddaughter) Angie. She wants to lose all the weight again, but wants to try it the hard way first (Its much less expensive the hard way...lol). As for me, Im on it now myself & ive lost 8 pounds in 2 weeks. I need to drop for medical reasons, as I have PCOS. Its vital for me to lose the weight in order to keep my PCOS in control. Plus I want kids in the future & being healthy is a plus. The one thing I'd want to say to ou812virgo@verizon.net is that ADIPEX IS NOT RECOMMENDED FOR PEOPLE WITH HIGH BLOOD PRESSURE AT ALL. My mother was interested in taking Adipex herself, but when visiting my diet doc, he said absolutely NO! Its a stimulant, and can cause problems if you already have High Blood Pressure. Plus he mentioned that mixing the blood pressure meds with Adipex can have a nasty effect to your heart. After my mother heard that, forget it. I'm hoping to lose about 60 pounds. I know Adipex works, because i've seen it first hand. I not usually keen on taking diet pills, but when you've tried everything else, hey you do what works. To everyone here, I always recommend doing the hard work first before starting a diet pill & even when on this pill, it still takes hard work. Everyone can spare 30 mins of walking, 30 mins on the WII (for those of you with kids :-P), or just make an effort to climb those stairs at work than taking the elevator. Its all about puting the work in. If you do, you will definately see results with Adipex. Wish me luck people!!

Adipex
I used Adipex approx. 1 year ago, and I lost 34 pounds. Unfortunatley, my doctor only let me use it for 3 months but made me promise to continue using Weight Watchers as I had used it with Adipex to lose the weight. Now I will be going back to the doctor to get on the Adipex again because I have gained back the 34 pounds I lost and then some. I walk atleast a mile and a half every day, drink 40 to 50 ounces of water a day and do not eat after 6pm and still can not lose the weight. I know the Adipex is going to work again, but I am afraid of gaining the weight back after the 3 months are done. Any suggestions>-(

Adipex
I just started taking adipex 4 daya ago July 26, 2009 and within the two days after taking it I've already lost 6 lbs. I love the energy it gives me, it seems like now I can keep up with my 9 month old. I don't have any trouble sleeping, just the dry mouth, I've cut out the pop and only drink water. I can't wait to see how much I'll lose in the next month:-D

Adipex
Wonderful drug. It really supresses cravings. I definitely get the cotton mouth like everyone talks about and I drink tons of water with it. First month on it I lost 17 pounds. However, I did notice the tiredness after taking it for awhile and told my doctor of this and he recommended adding B-12 and B complex injections with it every two weeks. Since the injections I have felt great, same energy level, if not more.

adipex
Loving adipex, I weighed 190 lbs, I lost down to 174 in four weeks. I did not have any side effects other than the dry mouth but that was ok because that made me drink even more water. I also joined a support group so when I get down to my goal weight, I will continue eating the right foods. I take 1/2 when I get up with a glass of water, the other half maybe four hours later and another half around three in the afternoon, that will take be through the evening. I get regular check ups with my doctor, and all is well.

Adipex
I am on my second month of Adipex. It was prescribed to me by a doctor. I lost 15 pds. the first month and it is now at a halt....due to my inconsistentcy taking the pill and not exercising like I should. I have heard and read different information about this pill. I know that if you go back to your old eating habits after you stop taking it, you WILL gain the weight back...as with any diet. I didnt take it for several days(went out of town on a buisness trip) and ate like crazy and I only gained a pound...which I lost two days later plus some after getting back on the pill. And with any diet or diet pill, you are not going to lose all of your desired weight at once. I have 35 more pounds to go and I have become impatient. I do have to remind myself that I am NOT going to lose all of that in a month...it will take several months. My side effects have weakened some...Your stomach will let you know when you need to eat..believe me...it will NOT let you starve. So, just don't get discouraged. I recommend taking it in the morning, eating a Protein Bar with at least 12-15 grams of protein, exercising 3 days a week for 30 mins or more and taking a vitamin. BTW I notice after every workout I tend to drop a pound or two by the next morning...just need to be more disciplined when it comes to exercising. So, just keep taking the pill and don't give up!Hope this helps!:-)

ok after reading all of these reviews i am super excited,i start taking adipex tommorow morning..and i am hopeing i get a great result. However my dr wasnt to thrilled prescribeing it to me because of the side affects and reminded me it was only temporary..i used to weigh a little more than 250 ten years ago, moved to FL and w/ working out and eating right i dropped the weight insanely,i got down to 120-125lbs!! then i moved back to NY and gained the weight,, i got up tp 172lbs..i gained 50lbs and for the past 4 years i have gone to the gym,ate right and i am just stuck,i dont know if age plays a factor or haveing kids but..im willing to do something to help jump start this weight loss most importantantly for my health,,i understand..which ALL of you should you can NOT acheive and maintain your ideal weight if you are not willing to follow up with excercise and healthy eating...so non the less plzzz wish me luck :-) and to all of you i wish the best!! (i will check back in ,in a few days or week and let you know what it has or hasnt done for me) GOOD LUCK!!

Adipex
:-D I started takeing adipex 5 months ago, I was 260 I am now 190. I have gotten to the point where I don't depend on the med. as much because I have retrained my mind and body with better eating habbits. My doctor is happy and so am I. The side effects are not as bad as I thought and they go away within the first week. My only problem with it is that if I go for more than a few days without it I get real sleepy. Keep in mind this is a stimulant and your body gets used to the energy. I would recomend this to anyone that needed to loose weight. Worked for me and I used to be a major emotional eater and addict. I was never full now I can eat just a little bit of something and save the rest for later. Chips and candy. I eat what I want just not as much of it, so I don't really feel deprived of anything. I am rambling now so just try it. If you ever want to ask me about it E-mail me. unplanejayne@aol.com
Good luck! All hope is not lost!;-)

Adipex
I started taking adipex last Friday, and had the jitters and a little trouble sleeping, but I felt rested. I was on a body cleanser when I started and the dr. said that it was fine, but after 4 days, I still and not seeing the difference on the scale. My appetite is hardly there, but I do make sure that I am eating healthy. I still have a few days left on my cleanser, but I am wondering if this is causing the weight to stay put, does anyone have a suggestion or have you heard of this happening?:-)

Adipex
Iam 56yrs and have been taking Adipex for 4 months and have lost 27 pounds so far. I am stopping it for now even though doctor says I can continue as long as I "listen to my body. I have 28 more to loseto get where I want to be and I have a good head start. I refuse to become addicted to a pill. I was not taking it on Sundays and Wednesdays anyway because I have to sing at my church and the dry mouth is a big problem when trying to sing. I do brisk walking, step aerobics, zumba, and some weight training (different one each week so my body dont get use to one thing). I eat small portioned meals throughout the day and a tablespoon of extra virgin olive oil daily. Its good for the body and helps to "move things along". I'll let you know how I'm doing. I believe I can do it. Love Adipex, but refuse to be a slave to it.

adipex (phentermine)
i started taking adipex in october 2008. right away of course i felt the energy, jittery feeling. lost weight right away. from october 2008 to about may or june of this year (2009) i lost 35 pounds. i lost that 35 pounds and have kept it off since. i think a big reason why i kept it off was because i didnt loose it all in 2 or 3 months like some people. if you loose weight that fast, you will gain it back that fast! i would take it for 2 weeks, then be off for about 3 or even longer. i feel like i "trained" my body that way and when i got back on then i started all over again with the energentic feelings i had. but when i was off of them i was eating very small portions, no sweets just as if i were on them. my friend just started taking them again about 2 weeks ago and she has already lost about 10 pounds, and i suggested to her to get off of them for about a week or so and see how you feel. bc once you loose your "goal weight" the LAST thing you want is to gain it all right back. trust me since June ive gained MAYBE about 5 pounds at the most but only because ive got so used to people telling me how great i look all the time i thought , hey i have nothing to worry about ...so i didnt watch or portion my meals. but now im back on track and i actually just filled a new RX yesterday and im on day 2. hopefully i can loose about 15 more pounds and be at my original goal =)

p.s
i started at 166 and in mid may/june i was at 132
im 24 years old

the past year went by extreamly fast, its worth stretching out the weight loss rather than rapidly getting it done ! ;-)

adipex
I have been taking adipex for 50 days and my starting weight was 294 and i'm down to 268 as of 11/01/2009. The reason I take the pill is, i have been overweight for 11 years and have just had enough. I have thyroid problems which makes it very hard to loose any weight. I went to the doc about 2 months ago to see if I could get the lap band and she said no, I have to try this first. I will tell you the first couple days was hard for me; i had started out with just a half a pill in the morning and the other half after lunch, but i got the worse headache you can imagine as well as dry mouth. I called the doc and she stated to take the entire pill at once, started doing that and no more headaches, only dry mouth. I drink four 32ozs of water a day if not more, changed some eating habits (mainly no more fastfood and more home meals) and so far so goood. So yes, i would recommend this to anyone who has a severe weight problem:-D

Adipex
Hello all. I am 25 years old and in May of 06 I had the gastric bypass surgery. I weighted 343. Now as of today. I weight 210. I want to get to my old weight 180. I just received my Adipex prescription and a Water pill also. My doctor said that he would only allow a 3 month prescription because the body will get us to this. He said with Exercise I should lose the 30 pounds. All I need to know is how can you get your skin tighter I have alot of loose skin.

generic adepix
I just started taking the pill today, I took it at 8 am and then ate breakfast at like 9 something. I have felt pretty good all day except for really bad dry mouth but I've been drinking lots of water. I haven't felt jittery or anything but I have had a lot more energy and more of a drive to do things. I worked out for about 30 mins and that made me feel great. I'm 5'6 and weighed in at 161...I had a baby 5 months ago and have lost 30 pounds since then but I need to lose about 40 more to be looking good. I really hope this gives me the results I'm looking for. Thank you to everyone who has left reviews, it really helped me make the decision to do this. I wish everyone luck!;-)

Adipex
I lost 11 lbs in one week taking adipex, seriously they really work.I walked on the treadmill 3 to 5 times a week depending on my schedule.I only ate fruit, and I tried the Special K diet.I have a slight headache some days but for the most part my energy level is great I take half a pill in the morning and that is enough for me I don`t think about food I don`t snack or anything like I used to.I think Adipex is the best thing going if you want to loose weight fast.

I started taking adipix in November of last year & I wieghed 278 pounds & I dropped to 250 pounds by April of 2009 but with this pill I took water pills along with these shots B-12,Amp,Lipo-b which contain ammino acid&fat burner. But the visits started getting to expensive so I gain 283 pounds back & I have heard that this medicine puts holes in your arteries & I also heard it will make you feel like you were having a heart attack I felt tightness in my chest & if I took it after 10am I would be woke that night so I would have to take it about 8am I did little excerise I had to force myself to eat most of the time & I crave for alot of water & my sex drive was much higher than usual & I onlly would take a half of a pill aday & sometimes every other day so if you start feeling funny stop taking it:-)

Adipex
I started taking this pill 5 months ago.Starting weight was 227. I currently weigh 190.I am happy 37 lb. weight loss and I still eat the foods I like, the pills have made me really realize to only eat when I am hungry and as soon as I feel full to stop. I will go 3-5 days without taking the pills and I do just fine. My doctor told me he will prescribe them up to 9 months. I am very hapy with my results and I am looking forward to continued weight loss. ;-)

Adipex
Just started Adipex yesterday, current weight is 210, hope to lose 50 pounds over a period of time. Doctor said he would only allow me to be on this medication for 3 months, then I have to be off for 6 months before I can have anymore....therefore I do plan to change my eating habits...as everyone else has stated, I can not get enough water...yet that is not a bad thing. I did not sleep well last night, yet I do feel rested today. Wish me luck!!!

Adipex
I have been on and off adipex for about 10 years now. I recently started on them in September 2009, I'm currently on my fourth month and I have lost over 30lbs. Adipex isn't for everyone. You have to change your way of life, with diet and exercise while taking these pills or you will gain the wt back and more. I must say whenever I want to lose wt, adipex has came through for me. Becareful of brands that claim to be adipex and isn't. I recommend this pill to anyone who is serious about losing wt and keeping it off. Because if you think u only gonna take them for a short while and be ok, that isn't so. If u don't change how u eat and exercise be prepared to revisit the clinic off and on until u make diet and exercise a way of life. Good luck.

adipex/phentarmine
I have been taking phentarmine (generic for adipex) given to me by my dr. I had to have a consult with her and blood work done. The day I started the pill, 1/14/2010, I was 196. I stepped on the scale this am, 1/25/2010, and I am down 5 lbs. My problem is I love food. I was born and raised in the south so sweet tea, fried foods, and peanut butter are my drug of choice. Even though I didnt eat much I didnt eat right. After having my 3rd child and weighting in at 218, I knew I had to do something. I joined the gym and went 5 days a wk 2 hrs at a time. In 12 months of this I lost 15 lbs. I had cut my food intake to 1200 heathly calories a day. No sweet drink, no alcohol, no food after 7. The weight was going no where. I gave up and resolved to being "fat". My sister started taking adipex, shes an RN, and lost a decent amount of weight. Her results where convincing enough for me. I have had a few side effects. The dry mouth but also for me, I seem to be getting headaches. Usually they come on in the afternoon and hang around. I take something for them but they dont go away. They arent severe but bothersome. My muscles in my shoulders seem to tighten on me also. I am going to give it a full 7 days of being on the pill before I say something to the dr. But people, if you arent under dr's care please dont take this drug. The complications that you can have because you had a pre exsisting condition really arent worth losing 5 lbs done wrong. The dr will only keep you on this drug for 3 months. It can cause liver damage, addictions, possibly death if not monitored correctly.

Adipex
So I have read all of the reviews and I am torn on what I should do. I have been on weight watchers for a year now and have gained 3 pounds when I should be loosing. I work out between 4 to 5 times a week and I eat healthy most of the time. I have made an appointment to get my Thyroid checked out but the doctor wants to prescribe me the Apdipex pill. I am fine if it works but I have always been told the faster it comes off the faster it comes back on. I don’t want to take this pill for 30 days and then gain all the weight back and more. So my question is to the people that are now off the pill and gained the weight back: What were your eating and exercising habits after you got off the pill? Did you eat out, drink soda, eat candy and not exercise or did you measure your portions, get all your fruits and veggies in and drink all the water you are supposed to and exercise at least three times a week? I don’t want a temporary fix but I wouldn’t mind a jump start, so I just want to see what I am really getting myself into.

adipex
I have been taking adipex for the last 9 days, I suppose to take it at noon but I take it at 10 am so that I am not up all night.

The first day that I went to see the doctor he did a weight, water, and fat test, and told me what my metabolism was, and he explained everything to me, I am to take 1 adipex ever day, and gave me a diary to log in my foods, and it is different for everyone bc everyone's metabolism is at a different rate.

My food diary, states that I can have for the follow;

Breakfast: 1 grain, 1 fruit, and 1 dairy which should equal 200 calories. and I also have to log in the fat grams for each meal.

Lunch: 1 grain, 2 meats, 1 veg, 1 fruit, 1 fat. = 400 calories or a lean cuisine, weight watchers, or healthy choice.

Dinner: 1 grain, 2 meats, 1veg, 1fat, or 1 lean cuisine, weight watchers, or healthy choice = 500 calories.

1 grain = 1/2 cup of anything, like potatoes, pasta, rice, 1 slice of bread.

1 meat = 1 oz of meat

1 veg is 1/2 cook, 1 cup raw. 1/3 cup of juice.

1 fruit is one small piece of fruit, or 1/3 cup of juice.

1 dairy, 1 cup of milk, or 1 nonfat yogurt.

1 fat, 1 tsp of salad dressing, or miracle whip, or mayonaise. or 1 tbsp of lite, diet, low cal, salad dressing, miracle whip, or mayonaise.

and you can have unlimited salad, I usually use nonfat salad dressing.

8-8 oz of water, or crystal lite, diet soda, water, kool-aid with sweetner, and any liquids as long as you liquid in take does not exceed 100 calories per day.

so all in all this is a 1200 calorie diet.

Exercise is 30 wall push ups, 30 lunges, 30 crunches, and 30 side leg lifts.

He told me not to do any aerobics, unless I am preparing to join the Olympics, and work on toning so that it helps with any lose skin while you are losing the weight, exspecially on any troubled areas that I think would have lose skin like my belly.

to be honest with you I came home I started the next day after I had seen him, I did aerobics everyday any where from 30 - 60 mins, and 1 hr of toning working every muscle in from head to toe.

When I was talking to a friend, who had much success with the diet in the first place and was encouraged by her weight loss to try this out for myself. She told me to stop doing aerobics and do exactly what the doctor told me to, because this is what she done. I stop the aerobics, and I swear to you I felt like I lost my 5 lbs this is it, and as soon as I stop the aerobics I lost 3 more lbs.

although I dont do the aerobics no more I use all that energy I get from the adipex to clean my house, I am cleaning everything, so I am glad that I am investing the energy into everything else, I mean my house was always clean, but now it is immaculent, so I use all my energy making every really nice for my family.

I read someone on here doesn't like to cook anymore, I love to cook even still, I just look for healthier food to make for me as well as my family.

my side affects are dry mouth, which works with me because I have to drink the water, constipation, and I just take a colace before I go to bed, and that solves the problem.
My first day on it, I felt very gittery and shaking, I just layed down on my bed and watched a little tv and it subsided, after that I was good no more gitters, just a lot of energy, and I sleep fine, I think it because I am so busy thoughout the day it wears me out by the evening.

I too was having trouble losing weight, but now that I am 9 days in I have lost 8 lbs, the doctor wanted me lose 10 lbs when I go back and seem him, which will be every two weeks. I dont think I will have any trouble losing the 2 more pounds. I am very excited that I finally found something to help me get this extra weight off.

I would say to anyone trying this, make sure you are seeing a doctor and he is perscibing this to you, and is monitoring everything while you are on this medication.

and to some of the people here who has gained weight back, you can not go back to old eatting habits or you will gain the weight back, you have to take 1 pill per day, not half, that is the reason for the headaches. you have to follow a sensible diet, you do have to do some body toning.

I cant wait to see what tomorrow brings, my clothes are getting loser, I now have got into a pair of jeans that I haven't wore in a while, and as the weight goes down, the self esteem and feeling good about myself is going up.

I do know that my doctor said 3 months on the adipex, 3 months off, and then he gives something else equivent to it called metabosurge, then 3 more months on the adipex.

I would tell anybody to be careful when buy online, because there is so many scams out here, and they may send you something that looks the same but could be a sugar pill, instead of the real deal.

Good luck everyone I do hope everything I wrote helps someone out there, and I wish all of you the best of luck, and I hoping all of you will wish me the best of luck as well with this weight loss. I will be checking out this site when I get the chance to read some more stories, so thank you for sharing, and for letting me share what I have learned.

Best of luck to all of you!
Christine

adipex
I started adipex a week ago, and I have lost 43 pounds. I just can't believe it! Naaaaaaaa! not 43 pounds, I have lost 8 pounds in just 4 days of using the product. I love it, and I think this experience will help me learn just how much you "must" eat inorder to quench my appetite. that is what eating is for, nourishment, and quenching of the appetite, not gourging out and eating everything that we see on the eating table, then eating others left overs. We all need to learn that lesson. I believe as a result of this I will learn how much I should be eating, and my stomach will shrink (hopefully) so that i will naturally feel full with smaller portions.

phentarmine
I have been over weight for the last 3 years and I have tried all the fad diets, exercising, walking 2 miles a day every other day. Sweets and breads arent a problem for me seeing how I don't like them anyway. My main problem is I work nights, and thats when I get hungry. My weakness was Dr.Peppers(a six pack a night)and cheese nips. About 2 weeks ago I started drinking Green Tea and eating Yogurt, and about 4 days ago I started taking Phentarmine.I weighed myself before I started any of this and I weighed 197, I am only 5"2 and used to weighing 120.I weighed in today and according to the old truth machine I am down to 189.I know its only 8lbs but its 8lbs less than I was , and that puts me closer to my Goal of 115 by July.I just have to remember to be carful because of my High Blood Pressure, and I have a past history of Anorexia. But with prayer and faith in the mighty father I serve I will not have any complications, and I will reach a weight that is healthy for me. I will try to check in again in a week to update this review Until then May The Good Lord Bless and Keep you. I will pray for everyone and I wish for everyone to have positive results with medicine.Just one hint before I go, this is for anyone that is taking this diet pill and a detoxifying product at the same time,Stop because the detoxer is flushing the diet pill from your system along with everything else. If you are going to detox, finish it first then start the diet pills.

Adipex
I have fought a battle with my weight for nearly ten years. I have tried about every diet known. I am 5'8 and my starting weight on 12/06/08 was 247lbs. I am a binge eater... I love food and have some strange addiction to anything carbohydrate. I was having knee, back, ankle, and all over body aches. I went to my doctor and told him I believed it was my weight. He began me on Adipex 37.5mg. He had me to break the pill in half and take one when I woke and another early afternoon. I lost 50lbs in about 6 months. He increased my dose to 2 pills daily. This did not seem to change the fact the drug had stopped working. I took a break for about 5 months and have started to take it again. While I was on it initially I did not really change my eating habits, not really exercise, matter of fact I did nothing. This resulted in my gaining some weight back when I stopped taking it. Now being back on it for only a few days I have decided to take a new approach, I am doing daily Pilates, cardio, and changing my diet to a balanced low carb plan. This I am confident will pay off. For the nay sayers... well, weight loss is 50% mental. That is a fact that we all have to bear in mind. If you are positive and believe that the weight is melting away forever, it will happen. Losing is terribly hard, but it is a matter of our personal commitment to ourselves, the medication is a tool. Believe in what you are doing. The first weeks will be terrible for some, I know I am going through it again. I am irritable, impatient, trouble sleeping, and have that fluttery feeling in my chest (assumed increased heart rate). The dry mouth, that is a great thing! Hard to see it like that but it will inspire you to drink water (flush the system, and aiding in more loss). Be positive and stay focused and always remember you are worth it! It is a wonderful feeling when you get to shop in the 'regular' sized clothes versus the 'big-girl' sized clothes sections. Not to mention your entire life will change. I never believed I was beautiful until I lost weight (I am hot at a size 12/13...lol)... and that aside I feel GREAT! So keep going and when you look in the mirror after the first 10, 20, 30 lbs and get that WOW feeling remember your success or failure is your choice.

apidex
I just started Apidex today and am very excited to see what happens. I quit smoking 4 months ago and with my schedule of working 50 hrs a week and going to school, and my job is a sitting all day job, I weigh more today than I ever have. My Doctor gave me Apidex for 3 months and along with a healthy eating plan and 30 minutes of walking at least 5 times a week I am hoping to lose about 50 pounds. The only problem is that our State only allows a 3 month script and makes you take a year off before you can go back on it. I would really like to take this for a full 6 months but have no idea how to do that. Any suggestions or alternative drugs that might be comparable to Apidex?

Adipex
I am 5 days in and have already lost 5lbs. The first day I had the jitters and everyone want to duck tape my mouth. The 2nd day I took it happen to be a weekend were I didnt get up as early so it was a little hard going to sleep that night. However I use to be staying in bed to the last min that I could and was pushing it to make it to work on time. Not any more I am out the door with in mins of my alarm clock. I think that the side effects are worth it specially cause all I have now is a little dry mouth... I can handle that! Heck I was having trouble drinking 8 glasses of water a day before the meds. Now I have no trouble. That an I am down to one meal a day. My day starts off with a glass of OJ and some Ice tea in the afternoon to water the rest of the day and one good small meal at night. If I feel a little hungry or just slightly think I may need to eat something I just slice up some apples. Some times I feel that it might be a little unhealthy that I am not eating more than this but if in the end I meet my goal of taking off these few lbs and feel the way I do now but with a better mind set then it was all worth it in the end. I wish every one luck on this journey and will be checking in when I can. To everyone else it worth it!

Adipex
I just started adipex 37.5 on the 13th, I've noticed that my appetite has changed. I don't own a scale, basically because I hate to stand on them. The last time I weighed myself I was close to 280. I haven't noticed anything yet, but it's only been two days. I would essentially like to get down to 200lbs, I think that's realistic. If we're talking wishing here, I would like to be 170-180. My prescription has 3 remaining refills, so, here's to losing!

Adipex
I have been battling my weight for 6 years now and I have taken adipex in the past and hated the way it made me feel. However i started working out with a personal trainer in January of this year and for 4 months he tortured me and i felt great BUT the scales didnt tip a pound.. So I consulted with my physician and he wanted me to try adipex one more time and give it at least a week. So day 1 i hated the way i felt but then i was fine. I continued my cardio and weight training regimen and i have lost 15#!! :-D Needless to say i think adipex was the push my body needed and i am THRILLED with the results of my hard work the past 5 months finally showing!!

adipex
I am only taking 1/2 a pill once a day, so my weight loss has been slower than most. Combined with an aggressive workout (dance, spinning and cycling), I've lost 60 lbs. since November. Unfortunately, because I only eat one "meal" a day, my energy sags by the time I get to the gym.

My question: has anyone experienced excessive overall body sweating? I am embarrassed by how much I sweat at the gym! I'm still sweating 30 minutes after class! No one wants to be near me during workouts!

Anyone else with this problem? Is it related to the Adipex?

Adipex
I just started taking Adipex. I am 4'11" and my weight would go from 155 to 165. When I weighed myself on Monday I weighed 160. I have no appitete at all I just eat a very little bit. I also have DRY MOUTH. I do Zumba for exercise and I have a sweating problem also. I have never tried a prescription diet pill before and wasn't so sure about it. But when I do feel the need to eat I want things like fruit or veggies. When I use to want bad foods. I am excited to weigh myself after 7 days I hope I lose at least 5 pounds. Good luck to all.:-D

Adipex-P 37.5
After an extremely "frank" converstion with my doctor, he simply said you are to fat. No problem with that my doctor and I have that type of relationship. He suggested the pill and after a lengthy consultation we decided to give it a try. I immediately wanted water after the first thirty minutes. I am optimistic even though I have succeessfully lost weight on my own this should really bring drastic results that I so desperately need...at 5'4 259 i can use all the help i can get...i will definetely let you know how it goes

adipex
:-) I started taking adipex in Jan 2010. It was a new year--and a new me attitude. A friend referred me to a health wellness facility and I absolutely love the entire staff. The doctor is very attentive, personable, and very approachable. I was very impressed with the fact that they did an entire blood work and history on me prior to perscribing the pill. They were very thorough and explained exactly what I was getting into.

I followed doc's instructions totally...I did get the dry mouth--and that's it. I have lost my cravings, no shakes, no depression, and no problems with sleep. The doc who gave the Rx to me stated that I may or may not have issues with the perscription. She even gave me her personal cell phone to contact her in any case of emergency or even if I couldn't sleep. That in itself was impressive so buying the weight loss program was a very positive decision.

I have lost over 15 pounds, however, through my own desires to have a brownie (or nibble here and there) that caused me to plateau. I haven't fallen off the wagon so, I am still motivated to keep going. I am also doing the Lipo-BC shots 2 times per week. I go to the gym 4-5 times a week as well. It all works together--you just can't "eat just because you know it's in the kitchen" nor can you go crazy with the food because your on a diet pill. You will lose weight, you do lose your appetite. You gain self-confidence and a better, healthier outlook on your life. When you feel good about yourself and what you look like--it all meshes together with a better life for YOU. FOCUS FOCUS FOCUS. The big picture is achievable if you don't give up, even if you do have a small piece of that brownie.. good luck to all--

Adipex 37.5mg
Today I went to the Doctor and he prescribed me the Adipex 37.5mg tabs for 14 days. I'm a little skeptical about it being that I'm already a nervous nelly as it is. I have losed 26 lbs since January doing the old fashion diet way like watching what I eat and not eating after 6pm but I must have hit an plateau and even gained 5 lbs. So here I'am today with the script and tomorrow i'm going to get it filled and start on Monday the 26th and Pray that this will help me loose the 40lbs i'm wanting to so deperately..... Brandi

Adipex
I've been on Adipex now for 4 months and lost 35 pounds. I'm 5'0 feet and started out at 175 and now I'm down to 140. I'm a very active single mother and I had never been that heavy before even after I had my daughter. My normal weight was 150, so being 140 is like my college weight:-D I've used several diet pills before(Trimspa, slimquick, stackers) but nothing has worked like this. But I have never been this consistant with working out and being very contious of what I eat and when I eat it. I workout at least 3-4 times a week consisting of intensive cardio (zumba) and recently started some weight training. Before I got on Adipex I was on a strict diet for spiritual reasons for 21 days. Consisting of whole grain bread only,no alcohol, no meat except fish, no sweets, no soda or juice, no fried foods, snacks(chips, etc.)and minimal dairy products. Halfway through this diet I began taking adipex. The Dr prescribed 1/2 a day for 3 days then 1 per day then 2 per day. For me I was seeing results with just the 1/2 pill so I did that for approx. 2 weeks then have been taking 1 pill since. 2 pills in my opinion was too much for me. I've experienced a couple side effects but I've used so many things equivilant to this before, it was nothing I couldn't handle ;-). For those experiencing headaches, that usually means you're not eating enough. I think that's why most people tend to gain the weight back because they are not eating enough while on the adipex. If you don't put enough calories and fat in you body then stop taking the pills and go back to eating regular, that's not going to work. I don't deprive myself, but I really watch my portions and amount of food I eat. I split meals and even get child size meals. I rarely eat fast food anymore (mcdonalds, wendy's, burger king, etc) nor do I drink hard liquor (only wine or champagne) or soda unless it is Coke zero or something like that(in moderation) Diet soda is really bad for you because of the sweetener, it makes you crave sugar more. I'm at my goal weight but now even though I feel I've made a lifestyle change, I'm really scared to stop taking the Adipex. Like the reviews on this page, I've heard mixed things. For me I don't think I will go back to regular eating habits or won't exercise but I will miss the energy it gives me. Honestly that's the only reason I have continued to take it this long. Also, I will tell you that my Dr. said to wein yourself off the adipex so your body can adjust to being off of them. For instance if you are taking one a day, go to half a day for a week, then half every other day and so on until you are off. I also asked the nurse about stopping cold turkey and she said that really wasn't a good idea because it could shock your appetite and make you eat more than you were before and gain the weight back really fast:oops:. It was also said that its really not good to stay on them more than 3 months because they can become addicting , which is why I'm ready to get off of them too. Any suggestions for natural energy boosters? I agree with the person that said weight loss in mental, you have to be willing to want to make a change and stick to it. Its hard but its definitely worth it. We eat to live, not live to eat :-p

adipex
Here is a little hint for those of us who has stalled or hit our plateau in our weight. This is a life change, learn to chnage your eating habits while taking adipex. Cut your meals in half. Eat from small plates, I use a childs plate. If it doesn't fit on the plate then I don't eat it.
If you decide to discontinue taking this pill, you have to do it slowly. Ther will be side affects if you don't.If you aren't careful you will gain your weight back.

ADEPEX
;-):-D I started using adepex in Feburary 2010. I reached 210lbs. When I met my husband I weight 120lbs. I had to do something extreme!! Adepex is very strong and it will make you s little nervous or have some anixiety the first week. The dry mouth is the worst side effect. I used Adepex until June and lost 35lbs. I stopped taking it because of financial reasons (my precription plan would not cover it). I am excited to say I am starting back up again and hope to lose another 30lbs. The weight came off slowly at first the started coming off quicker once my body adjusted to the medication. I love it!!

I was off it for about 45 days no side effects/ I still lost a poound here and there. But you have to control your meal portions once you stop taking adepex.

Good Luck to everyone

Adipex
I have started taking Adipex in July and I have only lost 7 pounds so far. I have lost 1 to 2 pounds a week. I would love to lose more per week; such as 5 pounds a week per say! The weight clinic that I am attending tells me that it is better to lose slow, but I know that I could lose more, but I am still having cravings. I must say that I do not pig out like I use to but I still crave for sweets. I was 240 and my goal is to weigh atleast 160. I am 5"9 and I believe that I will be healthier and feel more confident when I achieve this goal (as I was 7 years ago, before my third child).

My sister in law has been taking this for several months. I noticed that she was looking really slim, but healthy. Anyway, I've been battling my weight for years. Diet after diet nothing worked. I am scheduled to see my doc on 8/11 and I plan to ask about adipex. I will let you guys know how it goes. Thanks for all of the reviews, it is a really big help.
