Akavar is a Scam!
I just finished the bottle of Akavar that I bought at walmart....It was on display on every aisle there so I had to buy one...I guess I did loose 2-3 lbs, but I'm also running 2 miles 3-4 times a week and weight lifting 3 days a week, and I get the same results without taking any supplements. So for me akavar did not work...I'll just have to move on and fins something else to help me with my diet plan.

Akavar
I'm about done with my bottle. It really does curb my appetite. For the first week or so I didn't really eat that much. And even now at the end of the bottle, I'm definitely a lot less hungry than normal. I already eat pretty healthy and count calories. So, I just wanted something to curb my appetite, and not be thinking about food all the time. I used to snack a lot and this really helps to control my hunger between meals. But, still I have only lost 1-2 pounds.

Akavar
I wish that I had seen this site before purchasing my bottle from GNC. I'm more than half way through my bottle. No lbs shed. It helps to keep me hyped, but does nothing for anything else. Buyers beware, it's not what they claim.

Akavar
I am almost finished with my bottle, and I have just stayed the same weight. Its not worth the $30 that I spent on it. It is a waste of my money and time. So much for eating all you want and still lose weight....yeah right.
#4 - Coschik - 03/31/2008 - 16:41
Thanks for the input about Akavar
I was seriously considering purchasing this miracle pill until I started doing research. I have better things I could spend $30 on, like a gym membership.

Akavar
I TRIED AKAVAR LAST SUMMER AND THE SUMMER BEFORE THAT. I STARTED OUT WEIGHING 240 POUNDSI WAS AMAZED THAT I LOST 3 POUNDS THE FIRST SUMMER, WITH REGULAR EXERCISE AND LAST SUMMER, AN ADDITIONAL 3 POUNDS. I TRIED EVERYTHING OUT THERE. I\'VE KEPT THE WEIGHT OFF AND I ONLY USED IT IN THE SUMMER TIME.

Improper use
Akavar does work. However there are many things you need to take into account. remember that no diet pill out there will just burn fat. You mast maintain a fairly healthy diet and moderatly work out. What most people dont understand is that the first month you will see little or no results, this is simply because your body is adjusting to the pill. Akavar is very high in caffeine. Many people have reported terrible nausia due to this. Also what you need to keep in mind is everybodys body is different. If you are taking any diet pill chances are you will loose minimal weight the first bottle and you will start to notice things speed up mid way through your second and into your third bottle.

Akavar
Well, I tried Akavar.. It made me gain 7lbs!! I work out everyday and I eat good and I needed to lose 10 lbs but ever since Ive tried Akavar ive gained the 7lbs in just a week.. I got my money back..

Akavar's Not a Scam
I think a lot of people try Akavar, and expect to see results within 2-3 days. It takes time and you have to be patient. Also, you need to realize that a weight loss supplement such as Akavar can be an extremely helpful tool when it comes to weight loss - it helps overweight individuals lose a few pounds, which in turn motivates them to implement a healthy diet and lifestyle to ensure the weight stays off for good.
Akavar offers its money back guarantee within thirty days, which means users can try it for a whole month to see how well it works for them. You've got nothing to lose and everything to gain by just giving it a shot.

Akavar 20/50 IS a scam
http://www.ftc.gov/os/adjpro/d9318/060210dennisgaytrialbrief.pdf

http://www.casewatch.org/civil/akavar/complaint.shtml

Just copy and paste these to judge for yourself. I would use a diet pill from a reliable company like the makers of Hydroxycut, Lipovox, Thermodrenix, etc.

Don't buy AKAVAR 20/50 -- The reviews on it are overwhelmingly bad.
#11 - Akavar Scam - 05/13/2008 - 03:19
Made me sick
I bought Akavar about a week ago. Only took it for 2 days though. It gave me really bad headaches and the last day on it I spent throwing up. I normally have a high tolerance to caffine, but the amount in these pills is way too much for me. I won't be wasting my money on these ever again. But on the other hand I gave my mother the bottle I had and she loves them. None of the side effects I had. So I suppose it depends on the person.
#12 - Tamara - 05/21/2008 - 11:50
Akavar worked for me
I took three bottles of akavar so far, and I have lost 15 pounds. Although it claims you can eat whatever you want, I still changed my eating habits dramatically, and also exercised more as well. Akavar gave me a lot of energy, which motivated me to excercise more. I noticed that I always needed something in my belly, to avoid feeling light headed, but always eating is ok if you eat the right things. I replaced cookies or cakes with salads..and no more eating at night. Diet and excercise really help on akavar and I love it.

How to Use AKAVAR...
First of all, no miracle out there will allow you to eat all you want and lose weight. This statement is false advertisement. On the contrary I've been taking AKAVAR for two weeks. It has suppressed my usual appetite by almost 50%. I started taking just one pill each day...no gitters! Now Im up to 2 pills, and it gives me a little nervousness...what do you expect from caffeine anyways?! I've lost 1.5 inches on my waist and 0 lbs. I see slimming in my face and thighs though. Here's the deal, I've taken almost a dozen diet pills and they all work, when they work...when YOU work.

1. Take only two a day, more is not necessary with diet and excercise.
2. Don't eat all you want...that's greed! AKAVAR is suppressing your appetite anyways.
3. Drinks lots, lots, lots of water with pills. This will cut-down the side-effects. Also, it will help this product work faster in your system.
4. Workout light, because the pills are already increasing your heartrate. Go for a long walk after eating, but take is easy.
5. Caffeine has negative side-effects, get over it! Using caffeine alone regularly will have speed up you metabolism, so you burn alway even more calories than with excercise alone.
6. Don't watch the scale, look for looser clothes and slimming in your face and waistline. Try not to pysch yourself out of using this product before you give it a whole month to work.
7. If you workout alot, you are probably gaining weight because muscle mass weighs more than FAT!
8. Once again, don't be greedy everything you see all day just to prove AKAVAR wrong. Everyone should know this pill won't work that way, DUH!
9. Last, everyone's body is different, results may be slower or faster for based on your eating habits, weight, musle-mass, and overall health.

I've use hydroxycutt, Lipo-6, Lipozene, Stackers 3, Yellow Jackets, Green Tea pills, Hoodia...you name it almost. They all work under the right circumstances and situations. Please, just be safe and hydrate as appropriate with all diet (miracle) pill products.

DONT BUY AKAVAR!
I have been using Akavar for 3 months now and it has done absolutely nothing for me, except make me starve myself! It reduces your appetite and not eating only makes you gain more weight. I have lost mabye 2 pounds at the most. It's definitely a scam. If it sounds like it's tooo good to be true, then IT'S NOT TRUE!! Dont spend your money people! But if you are going to try it, it's cheaper at Walmart for 30 bux!
#15 - Akavar is $30.00 at Walmart - 06/06/2008 - 16:42

Akavar is Amazing!
I love Akavar! It is THE best diet pill out there! In three months, I lost 13 lbs! I exercise 4 times a week and eat pretty healthy.. Yes, it might not work for everybody but it works for me!
#17 - SW - 07/02/2008 - 17:39
akavar results
I\'ve been taking it for about a month and so far it\'s been working. I eat less and work out more. I believe it\'s different for everyone. But so far so good.
#18 - Nelly - 07/05/2008 - 20:52
I like the product.
I've just begun to take Akavar. The first day I felt results. I did get hungry but couldn't finish my food. I go to the gym, but I've had a hard time because I have a big appetite anhd found myself binge eating. And now I don't. I find myself pooping alot. But I don't mind, I have been constipated before this. I have way more energy. I use to feel tired after I ate. This is the best diet pill I've tried so far and I have tried a few. I did get jittery but i'm sure it's well worth it so long as I don't have a heart attack. :)

First day on Akavar
I have only taken one pill starting today. I only want to lose 10 pounds so I didn't want to do some large diet. I have a big problem with eating when I'm not hungry just because I am bored and no matter how full I felt, I could still continue eating so I never paid attention to the diets that said it would curb hunger because I didn't think it would work for me. Caffeine has never bothered me that much either. I usually don't drink anything but tea but I took only one of these pills today and it did make me a little light headed and gave me a headache but suprisingly I feel super full and truly couldn't eat anything. I will post in a couple weeks and let you know how the continueing use is coming for me. FYI I will be going to the gym moderately and am thinking of a meal plan.:-)

1/2 a sandwich!!
I just took my second Akavar pill about an hour ago. My boyfriend works a a photography studio that is right beside an amazing deli. We always meet there to eat lunch together. I always get a very healthy sandwich and never feel bad about devouring the whole thing. Today I ate a cup of fruit like always and half my sandwich, by the time I got to the second half I was finished. I was SO FULL. Now as to the claims that this product is a miracle, I highly doubt it, it takes focus to lose weight. But I'm very pleased with my results thus far. This product might be the small boost I need, not a miracle. I guess if you start out thinking "miracle drug" you are sure to fail, and will in turn dislike this product. As for me I plan to keep taking it for a while, if I eat a half a sandwich everyday instead of a whole one, I'm better off than I was.

AKAVAR
i personally love akavar. i've had the ame bottle for a while now, because my biggest problem is forgeting to take the pill, but when i did take it regularly, i noticed results around my tummy and face after only a few weeks.
i never got the headaches, nausua or lightheadedness, but then again i drink alot of coffe and tea, so i'm fairly used to caffine in my systym.
when i bought the bottly it was around $50, but now that it's only like 30 in walmart, i'd say give it a try.

AKAVAR I LIKED IT!!!
I HAVE BEEN TAKING AKAVAR FOR ABOUT TWO WEEKS, AND ALTHOUGH I DON'T THINK I HAVE LOST ANY SIGNIFICANT AMOUNT OF WEIGHT,MAYBE A POUND OR TWO, BUT I LOVE IT. I'M 5'$" AND WEIGHT 116, SO I'M NOT REALLY OVERWEIGHT, BUT SINCE I'M AN AVID SWEET EATER, AND LATELY I HAD BEEN CRAVING SWEETS LIKE CRAZY, I THOUGHT I'D GIVE IT A TRY. IT SUCCESSFULLY CURBS MY CRAVINGS, AND GIVES ME A TON OF ENERGY BUT WITHOUT THE JITTERINESS. I JUST FEEL GOOD AND MOTIVATED. I COULD PROBABLY GO THROUGH THE ENTIRE DAY WITHOUT EATING, WHICH HELPS ME MAKE WISER CHOICES WHEN IT COMES TO CHOOSING WHAT I EAT, BECAUSE NOW MY DECISION IS BASED ON NUTRITION, RATHER THAN CRAVINGS. I ONLY TAKE ONE PILL A DAY ABOUT 4 TIMES A WEEK AND HAVE NOTICED THAT I AM RETRAINING MY BODY TO CHOOSE THE RIGHT TYPE OF FOODS. JUST FOR THIS I FIND IT HIGHLY RECOMMENDED.

AKAVAR
Hi, today is my second day on akavar, i weighed 115 in high school and im 5'7, I now weigh 160  and though I carry it well I dont look overweight im still unhappy, ive tried it all........hydroxycut, slimquick, dexatrym, green tea, I saw an add for akavar over the summer, and thought if it could stop me from eating that'd be great, so i went grocery shopping bought all health food and akavar for 20 bucks at my local walmat, yesterday I took 2, today I took the 4, I noticed about half way through dinner it was kind of like my brain was saying I was full, but my stomach still felt hungry, the signals my brain were giving out were stronger and I was done eating, but now Im hungry....BUT I dont feel like eating, its odd, I was a HUGE soda drinker, and coffee, so I didnt think the caffeine would bother me at all bc I switched strickly to water, but let me tell you im SHAKY not to the point where its alarming, but im def noticing it so im thinking im just gonna take one at a time instead of two at first. my first goal is to lose 10 lbs, and then more, Id like to get down to 125, Ive restricted my caloric intake to 1500 a day and its the end of the day today and ive only had about 900 so that may be why im jitter, and by the way this is coming from someone who prob took in a good 2500-3000 a day or more....i really hope it works, i'd love to be happy with my body again, and Im hoping the akavar, and cutting out the soda will do the trick.:-D

akavar
i'm on my third day on the product. i've been taking one before breakfast and one before lunch and ive noticed a reduction in my appetite (which was huge before). i've cut out snacking too which i've always found impossible before. i often suffer from insomnia so was worried about the caffiene but doesnt seem to be bothering me, i just dont take it too late. it's obviously too early to see weight loss, but it definately makes me feel less of a greedy pig, so it's all good for now :-D

Akavar
I have used akavar for 8 months on and off. Using the pill regulated my digestive cycle. However it was not until a month ago that I faithfully took 3 pills a day, excercised an half an hour and restricted my diet to 1800 calories a day that I saw results. Within the month I lost 11 pounds. However akavar gives me energy but that also causes trouble sleeping. The pill does take away cravings but you will not see a significant weight loss without sensible diet and excercise. My mother was also on the product and lost 50 pounds with diet however gained 30 pounds after stopping use. Even days that I don't take the pill I am able to maintain a sensible diet thanks to akavar. But do not have a normal digestive progress only when i take the supplement is it normal.

Akavar
I bought the akavar product yesteday and took 2 pills as stated on the bottle. I got the jitters, nervous, and it caused a high energy burst with a very bad Crash. I will try one pill at a time today. However, if i feel that bad again i will have to return the product. Also, my heart beat was rapid, and I had a slight headach. Maybe, I can not take that much caffine.:-o>-(

akavar
I started taking akavar about a week or so ago.. I must first say this I LIVED STRICTLY OFF FAST FOOD, i never cook. I work at a pizza place, which i eat at every single day. I drank over two 2liters of diet pepsi every single day. I was addited to all types of fried foods. I'm 5'3 and i weigh 166, but i carry the weight pretty well. Ok.. back to akavar. Since taking it i noticed a HUGE decrease in the amount of food i eat. I no longer drink soda at all! i have only the taste for bottled water. which i drink over 6 16oz bottles a day. I dont know how many calories i take in a day now but before it was around 3500 or more im sure. Today, i have eaten 1 banana for breakfast (i was full after that) for lunch i had one slice of super thin crust, light cheese veggie pizza (then i was full) and for dinner i had a small, super thin crust pineapple, mushroom, hot pepper pizza... and i couldnt finish the whole thing! after work i ate two plain rice cakes and felt extremely full.I do take 4 capsules per day. Two when i wake up, one before lunch, and one before dinner. I dont seem to have any side effects at all, but my sleeping schedule is all wacky as usual (has nothing to do with akavar, or anything else other than myself) lol. I just bought a scale today, so im not sure if i have even lost any weight, but i feel great and im a hell of a lot more motivated to do so. With the way i ate before, and the way i eat now, id really have to say this diet pill may work for me! :-P

AKAVAR 20/50
Didn't work as I had hoped. I started taking AKAVAR 20/50 the day my husband went out of town for a week. I figured since I didn't have to cook real meals it would be a great opportunity to drop a few of the 10-15 pounds I'd like to lose. During this week, I ate only dressing-free salads and baked or roasted chicken breast and drank only coffee and water while taking 2 pills twice a day. Results?? I lost 4 pounds. The following week after my husband came home, I started eating real meals with smaller portions again. I do not over eat or consume very many sweets. I do eat lots of veggies, but am a meat & taters kind of girl. Even with the continued use of the AKAVAR, by the time the bottle was gone (only a 15 day supply if 4 per day are taken) I had gained back the 4 pounds and added 2 more.

It simply didn't work for me. Please understand though, that any kind of pill will affect people differently. What works for some, may not work for others.

Akavar
I've been using Akavar for a little while now. I guess I'd say 3 maybe 4 weeks. I take one pill before lunch and one before dinner. I'm not gonna say it was AMAZING like the ad said but it did what I thought it would. I had started to cut calories a couple weeks before I started the pill and with a healthy diet (I eat between 1200-1300 calories a day) my clothes are looser and I've notice the tell tell signs of fat loss. My face is slimmer and my thighs and waist line are gradually slimming as well. Akavar has really helped with appitite. Since I started taking it I havent been tempted to eat extra snacks in between meals. Its not a "miracle" You have to do something other than just take the pill and expect results. You have to be motivated.

akavar
Actually, it worked for me. I lost about 30 pounds last summer while taking it. but I found that it worked better for me if i took it maybe once a week instead of everyday, and I gradually learned to eat less. It's been about a year, and i have only gained 5 pounds since then.
