It's really too bad, all this back lashing against the hugely popular hoodia gordonii. You see, there are 90% more hoodia products on the market than real hoodia. So companies are basically lying and saying they have it when they don't. This has caused angry consumers to retaliate saying hoodia is just a joke and doesn't work. Well, that is partially true because 90% of hoodia products don't even contain real hoodia.

Second, it's all about P-57. P-57 is the component in Hoodia which suppresses your appetite. I don't know how so many people don't know this, but plain extracted Hoodia will not have P-57. You have to have a ratio of 10:1 Hoodia Root extract to 20:1 Hoodia extract. Supplement wise, (unless you plan on going to the Kalahari Desert in Africa and eating the cactus raw) this is the only ratio proven to have the P-57 component.
