Hydroderm Review

hydrodermWhat is Hydroderm?

Hydroderm is another one of those products making claims that their patented system can somehow deliver collagen to your skin to help you fight wrinkles. It's well-known that the aging of skin causes collagen molecules to break down, which leas to the formation of wrinkles and fine lines. They call their patented system the "Collagen Infusion Delivery System" and claim that it somehow solves the problem of being able to deliver too-large collagen molecules to skin entry points.

Alas, they don't really provide any evidence to help us believe them, but their website looks pretty nice. They have "real photos" of before and after pics (of course the photos are real photos, just whether or not they've been doctored or not, that's the real question).

The real grievance with Hydroderm is the fact that they dupe you into an autoship program. You sign up for a free trial but have to give your credit card information to them. If you don't want the product, you have to ship it back. If you do maybe like the product, guess what? They'll keep sending it to you again and again and again. I contacted their customer service to see how hard it would be to speak with a representative. My average wait time with three different calls (I hung up before speaking with anyone) was north of 20 minutes. How am I supposed to cancel my autoship if I can't talk to the Hydroderm people? Who knows.

Freezox is by far the most powerful wrinkle fighting and anti-aging product legally available today. It's the only product reviewed that received a 100/100 in wrinkle reducing power. If you want to lose your wrinkles as quickly as possible and look like a million dollars, FREEZOX is well worth the money. It would have easily of been the #1 rated anti-aging products if it had not been for it's below average safety rating. Their have been widespread rumors that FREEZOX contains a topical grade extract of the wrinkle reducing ingredient Botulinum Toxin Type-A (BOTOX®). Having thoroughly reviewed FREEZOX we have found no traces of this substance. FREEZOX does however work faster than any other anti-aging product ever created which leads people to question its ingredients. This literal fountain of youth doesn't come cheap. A 28.3 gram bottle which lasts 3-4 months costs $579.00.00 USD. There are rumors that FREEZOX will soon be taken off the market so finding bottles in the U.S. is rare and hard to come by.

Prototype #37-C uses only the highest grade peptides including syncoll, acetyl octapeptide-3, acetyl-hexapeptide-8, pentapeptide-13, matrixyl 3000, and eyeservyl. Syncoll is the only peptide that can increase your skin’s natural collagen production by 119%, and eyeservyl is the only peptide that specifically targets eye wrinkles such as crow’s feet. One of these would be sufficient to stomp out the competition. But they choose to go to the highest levels and use all of them in the highest concentrations possible.

Prototype #37-C really has no competition. It is the only wrinkle solution to climb to this caliber of treatments. Commercials for certain other products say that they beat the $400 and $500 moisturizing creams. Moisturizing does not heal your wrinkles or reduce them. But Prototype #37-C easily beats the wrinkle fighting effects of even the $1000 products. And yet it is available to the common customer at just $149.99.

Hydroderm cancellation
I too did not see any difference in my complection. What I have done to cancel is to go to their website. At the very bottom of the page there is a return policy and contact option in blue. I clicked on contact. Then a page came up where you can type in your complaint and cancel your orders. Now, I have not heard back from them yet. They said it may take several days. If this doesn\'t work for me, I\'m going to have to do something drastic like report them to the BBB or something. I didn't expect miracles, but I did expect to see some improvement in my skin. It sure costs enough to do something! Those pictures of the before and after are as fake as a three dollar bill.

Hydroderm cancellation
This is the worst company. You can't cancel your so called order?
#6 - Jim - 05/04/2008 - 09:28
I too had a hard time trying to slow down the shipping, I finally had to cancel and was able to do so. I never saw any difference in my skin and I have several bottles left yet.
#7 - Karen - 05/19/2008 - 09:23
Did not order
We received a trial shipment that was charged to our corporate credit card. I never ordered this stuff. I actually went to their website and clicked the link Product Return. They actually responded back via email the next day that my trial had been cancelled. I then called this morning and spoke to someone immediately. I wanted to know how they got our credit card info. They were only able to offer an IP address which we are looking into now. She even said i could keep the product because of my trouble. Which of course i don't even want the stuff.
#8 - kelly - 06/04/2008 - 13:47
lies, lies, lies.
Same here told the same lies. After 30 days I could not get a hold of a representative,or online legitament e-mail address. The address i was given was non exsistent. What a pack of liars. I got charged on the 37 th day three times one charge was 79.00. Wow I feel like an idiot never again. And the worst thing about it the product is worthless no results at all. Totally, the worst company ever.
#9 - lisa - 06/05/2008 - 21:11

Don't like the stuff and having a hard time canceling!!
#10 - Tamatha - 07/14/2008 - 08:27
You are all correct,,the product is a hoax.
Call...1-888-460-5888 to receive an RMA # which will identify you and get you your refund.Apply this # to the outside of the return package and enclose your invoice in the package. If you do not go through this procedure your credit card will be charged for new shipments.
Further,to protect yourself,CHANGE THE NUMBER OF YOUR CREDIT CARD.
Be sure to ask for the return address of the product when you call to cancel......Hope this helps everyone.
#11 - coraann29@yahoo.ca - 09/15/2008 - 11:24
No website now!! At least I can't find one...to even cancel...I saw on my CC card they charged me!!!!
Bought the initial trial...........then told them I wanted to cancel........no answer to any emails..........now my credit card is being charged....and I cannot find their site anywhere. I cannot believe this is happening to me. I'm calling my credit card co. in the am, I'll dispute the charge, then change my account # as it states above, to protect myself. My cc gives me an 800 line to Hydroderm/not under Hydroderm though.
It's AIC*HYDRODERM SKINCARE 800-840-5576. Thanks to "coraann" #11, for all the info on this bogus stuff! And BTW...my stuff didn't work either. Used it faithfully for the one month period, nothing...nada...zip!!

What a rip-off. I have not been able to cancel and can not find anyone there to talk to. Even there web site can not be found. What's up with this? This is all crap them and there product! I called my credit card company and put a stop on the payments. Not sure if this will stop them from trying to get money from my account. This is yet another "Buyer Beware"
#13 - Pam - 09/22/2008 - 01:07
HYDRODERM SCAM
I ordered this product like an idiot. Then I decided I didn't like it and felt it was too pricey and should of never of ordered it in the first place. When I tried to call the 1-888-451-7888 number, it said I was 14th in line and went on down the line, all while playing music, like any credible company. After I got to be number 1 in line, the music stopped and I was on dead silence hold. Somehow I came to this site and started reading the reviews and freaked out! I automatically called my bank and had them cancel my debit card and re-issue me another one. I did however get ahold of an associate at Hydroderm through this number 1-800-840-5576. Where she told me that I would have to call back in four days due to their system being down. I told the lady on the line that I knew it was a scam and that I was canceling my credit card and not to send me another order. She said that she could not stop the orders due to their system being down. I told her that I was looking at this blog and apparently their system had been down for months. She said to write the Order ID number on the outside of the package and to get a tracking number from the post office and then call back with that number. How are they supposed to track the tracking number when their systems are down!!! Damn I am stupid! NEVER AGAIN!
#14 - Heather - 09/23/2008 - 11:43
I wish I would have read these reviews before I got myself in this mess. I tried to call several times and they told me for 2 weeks the web site was down and they have no web site to receive and RMA or return. I recommend canceling your credit card and receive a new one with a new account number. So worth the $10 charge for a new credit card number.
#15 - Kathy - 09/23/2008 - 16:48
Figured a way to finally cancel!
I got stuck on their auto-ship program and had same problems as everyone trying to cancel. They got one payment out of me and I had to call my cc: company to issue me a new card. It may be hard for some if their card is tied to other auto-bill pays, etc. but that was the easiest for me! Now I'm trying to sell my extra supply on eBay! LOL
#16 - Cyndi - 09/27/2008 - 14:46
Might not be for everyone
I've dealt with auto-ship programs in the past so I knew what I was getting myself into. I was skeptical about this even after I saw the HSN segment with Forbs Reilly. After the first month I saw little to nothing, but I didn't look worse. Half way through my second shipment I started to see a difference, not a big change but a change. My best girlfriend didn't like it and called to cancel. She said her experience wasn't as bad as I told about on this forum. She spoke to a woman who explained that the RMA number should be written on the front to speed up the process and that she had 30 days to return the package after the RMA number was issued. After that she would no longer recieve any more of the product. It has been over a month since then and she has nothing on cc statement. I would say it was good for me and not good for her.
#17 - Shelia - 10/15/2008 - 19:10
I'm feel as foolish...
For several times I was trying to call and when I finally reach the "number " than I was assigned ..." the bussines hours are over..for the next day !! bummer!!! I will call my CC . right now . Please my advice Dont get any bussines with this Company . Chiqui
#18 - Chiqui - 10/30/2008 - 21:13
I also have been trying to get in touch with customer service to stop shipments of this product, and to stop them billing my credit card to no avail. I Want nothing to do with his company anymore and stop billing my credit card!!!!
#19 - renee - 11/04/2008 - 14:32
I have been stupid as many have been. BEWARE OF THIS FRAUDULENT COMPANY......according to my local Better Business Bureau. I too cannot retrieve an RMA # or ask for a refund as no phone calls are ever taken; you are disconnected when it supposedly is your turn to speak to a customer service rep.
I am also contacting the BBB in Culver City, CA!!!!!!!
#20 - Dixie - 11/05/2008 - 11:10
cancelled out under old website.
You know ladies, it may be from the cancellations they were having, not that I care either.
I cancelled within my 14 day period, and they still tried to
charge my card for that $69!
I went back and now they have a different website as everyone here already knows! Now you have to call in an order and/or trail order!
That's so you can't cancel as easy as with the old website, and they continue to charge your cards because you can't even cancel by calling that toll-free number, what a rip-off!
Sorry for the long posting but they surly pissed me off the same as they've have you ladies.
Someone has already said here, something need to be done about those people!.

Good Luck to you all!
#21 - the1unv - 11/10/2008 - 19:52
I can't cancel!!!!!!!!!
I called the number on the website............1-800-814-5771 and it is always busy.....and I mean ALWAYS. I didn't get my shipment of this procuct and they charged my credit card!!!!!!!!! Does anyone know how to get through?
#22 - Cindi - 11/11/2008 - 15:55
Same old story here. Can't cancel and keep getting billed.
I did however file a complaint with the BBB and the internet crime center at https://complaint.ic3.gov/ctf.aspx maybe if enough of us do this it will make a difference
#23 - Celeste - 11/13/2008 - 10:39
CROOKS
what a shame a company has to treat people like this. I have tried for two months to cancel and the same as all I have been unsuccessful. I have been with this for at least a year and really like the product.(wanted to add to my order), However due to their non-response I will find an another product to use. Will comtact the BBB here in FLorida hoping for help for all of us. Sandy
#24 - Sandy - 11/17/2008 - 20:12
I have used hydroderm for a couple of years, altho it doesn't do what it claims, it was an ok moisturizer. After that being said, I was charged on my credit card for a shipment and the shipment never arrived. I called hydroderm, I was number 24 in line waiting for a representitive. I hung on for about 45 minutes when it was my turn, they hung up. I called back, this time I was 22 in line, I hung on. When I finally got a rep on the phone, she gave me the same story, that their system was down. I told her they shouldn't have charged my card if the product was not going to be shipped immediately. I demanded a credit on my account, she said she would send the request to corporate and they would take care of it. It's been a month now and so far they haven't. I think the company is having other problems and may be about to go under. They were always right on time with shipments in the past, and now you can't get in touch with them without waiting forever.
#25 - judith - 11/18/2008 - 11:49
Hydroderm is a rip off
I have tried unsuccessfully to cancel this product which was as bogus and as fake as their ad. I had to cancel my credit card and filed a dispute against them. They need to be put out of business. Period.Where is the California better business bureau????
#26 - Deborah Nelson - 11/22/2008 - 12:22
Mrs.
:-[]:-[]:-[]
I had the same problems as all listed above. Thankfully I have Discover Card. They put a hold on the 2nd charge or $84 as the order was never shipped. How can these people continue to have a website up and working when they are truly doing fraudulent business. Post warnings everywhere . Your Card company can put a fraud notice on your card # and investigate this charge We have the hassle, but a hard way to learn since most people are trusting and also pay for things ordered on the internet. THIS IS THE FIRST COMPANY TO DO THIS TO ME SO STICK IN THERE AND FIGHT IT. SEND A REPORT TO THE BBB OF THE STATE OF CALIF. AND CITY LISTED. WHO KNOWS WHERE THEY ACTUALLY ARE. I RETURNED THE PRODUCT AND IT WAS RECEIVED BY SOMEONE !!! HAD IT TRACKED.
WARNING !!! :-P:-P:-P
#27 - Kay Fitzgerald - 12/11/2008 - 17:08
I've used hydroderm on & off for several years. I've tried many other moisturizers & none have been as effective as hydroderm. I'm in my 50's, and my wrinkles are not gone but haven't increased either. I didn't have a problem canceling hydroderm a few years ago so guess their customer service has changed. But since then I always buy hydroderm on ebay so no hassle canceling anything and the price is usually less.
#28 - Gail - 12/13/2008 - 22:59
I hav e been trying to call for a month. they sent me a package but did not credit my card...Today I called and was told the number was no longer in use!! Guess that't it for Hydroscam!!!!>-(
#29 - Cathy - 12/16/2008 - 15:11
Mr
I suggest a class action law suit against Hydroderm and it's advertising sponsor Alena Internet Corp

I followed all the steps required by the company to return the product.

I returned it via UPS and have a tracking receipt. I kept the free sample and when a second order was received, I never opened it.
After contacting the BBB I was provided a complaint number the name of a contact at Alena Internet Corp. I made contact on October 10 and was told that my account was now canceled and that a credit would be issued to me in four to six weeks. The contact, Gary Yeagley asked for my credit card number again and advised me that my account would be credited in four to six weeks. He could not find where a credit had been issued to me previously. One excuse the company used was that their computer was down; that same excuse was used for weeks in my case.

The BBB contacted the company and the company sent the BBB a letter indicating the action they would take to alleviate the problem. The letter to BBB turned out to be another delaying tactic in an on going sham.

There has to be a legal way these crooks be brought to justice.

Don't Shoot the Messenger
What is expressed below DOES NOT in any possible manner, shape, or form, represent, indicate or even attempt to be a statement on the behalf of the Alena Internet Corporation ( Hydroderm L.L.C. and/or affiliates) nor are the below statements meant to be a reflection of any kind upon the Corporation, its board, its officers or its methods and practices of doing business as a whole.

At this time, I am simply choosing to exercise my first amendment rights, before they cease to exist. (WAKE UP PEOPLE !)

The proceeding is simply a short collection of my own personal opinions, thoughts, and point of view in regards to the topics discussed in this continuing blog of which my name and person has been mentioned on more than one occasion.

Due to the growing number of issues that were simply beyond my control, effective as of December 10th 2008, I am no longer an employee of Hydroderm. Please understand that I was just a worker bee for Hydroderm, and in light of the given circumstances, I did everything I could (within my given power of "manager") to professionally service all the customers I came in contact with, as efficiently and effectively as possible. Please keep in mind that I did this with the faith that the items and requests that I forwarded on through to the proper channels, were indeed actually being executed upon by the "powers that be."

Now, I was not the only "manager" in the customer service department for Hydroderm, but because I made a sincere effort to aid/help customers with their needs, customers know my name---there is a direct correlation with the fact that only MY name is mentioned in such blogs as this one, again I was not the only "manager" in the customer service department, but because I was consistently striving for an overall higher level of service for our customers, I established and maintained a one-on-one relationship with each customer I spoke with, treating them the only way I know how...as a human being and not as a number. As a result, my good name is the only one remembered or mentioned, just in time to be run through the mud. To those customers, all I can say is: NEVER SHOOT THE MESSENGER!

I realize that in human nature, it is easy for one to point the finger and blame the first person they see or talk too, especially when one does not know the bigger picture, but folks, the person to blame here, is most definitely not me.

Consumers need to understand, ( especially those whom have never worked for a major corporation ) that individuals handling the customer service for these large companies are traditionally underpaid and overworked. The boards, owners etc of corporations all consistently fail to realize that the customer service department is the true lifeblood of any retail/sales driven company---and when something goes wrong---Customer Service is the "first line of defense,"---We have to clean up the mess even though we had absolutely nothing to do with causing said mess in the first place. Seemingly the CS departments are consistently the last on the food chain within these corporations to be given any updates what-so-ever..., such internal chaos will only lead to an eminent disaster. However, most of the time, all of this can be avoided if the proper structure and emphasis were to be established at the very beginning.

It is my sincere wish that everyone is in good spirits after the holiday and the New Year TREATS US ALL BETTER ! ! !

Regards,

Gary Yeagley

i loved the product and it did work for me. the only problem i am having is that the company did not send my next shipment and when i called them....the number was no longer in service. i am very disappointed and cannot get the product as cheap as i did from hydroderm membership.
boo hoo.:-):-)>-(:

Hydroderm
>-( The product I received worked for me also. But they charged my account without telling me so, when I called to cancel I was on hold for 45 mins the most. I hung up a couple of times but when I finally talked to someone they told me that the system was down and they will cancel it as soon as it get back up on the next Monday. So, when I called them the number was out of service. They got over on all of us. This really sucks!!!!

Hydroderm Anti-aging cream
I too had the problem with my checking account being debited for Hydroderm, that was never received. I called Customer Service on several occasions and was told they would ship me another bottle. However, I never received anything. I finally just gave up and called my bank about the money that was taken from my checking account. I have filed a fraud claim with my bank and they are suppose to investigate the problem. I guess eventually I'll get my money back from my bank.

Hydroderm Body Shape
I too got caught up after ordering a trial product. I honestly had no idea they would keep billing my credit card, but they did until they actually ran it over the limit and cost me a bundle more. Even under their membership I ended up paying $45.90 per bottle of Body Shape. I didn't even want that particular product. It was not even what I had initially ordered. So, now everybody, check it out on ebay because I have to try to recoup some of the money I have spent! I have several bottles on ebay at a great price. All in all, with the several Hydroderm Products I have tried, I have liked them. But, I DO NOT like their business methods. I called them many, many times as well, trying to cancel the membership, but instead got more products charged to my credit card. I have 8 bottles of Body Shape that will be going up for sale as soon as I can get them listed. Just go to ebay and visit my site. "My Delight Site". I paid $367.20 for the 8 bottles I have. They are all still sealed. I don't understand how any company could operate like they have and be allowed to remain in business though. Sure beats the heck out of me! I was never able to get the first RMA number, by the way. But, they sure didn't miss my credit card every month! Good luck to each of you. I love the product, but won't deal with the corruption of this company to get it!

Hydroderm Matrixyl 30ml-FG
Everytime I call I have to wait forever and then I'm always cut off. One time I got to talk to customer service and she said she was going to switch me over to someone else and of course I was cut off. I am going to my bank tomorrow and cancel my debit card so they will stop charging me. Also, I really don't see where the product is all that great. Dermitage is much better and you can talk to someone there with no problem. I hope everything works out for everybody
