What is NV?

Next in line, we will take a look at NxCare's NV. NxCare claims that "NV's extraordinary formula is designed to help you lose weight to shape your figure, make your hair, skin and nails look stunning and provide the energy to be more dynamic than you've ever been." What, it doesn't clean your house for you too?? (Just kidding.)

NV has been designed to be used by women, and is marketed as such. NxCare also claims the NV is the " The First Weight-Loss Beauty Pill" . This is not entirely true because Zalestrim ( www.zalestrim.com ) has been on the market for years. It too has been designed by women for women. (For more information on Zalestrim, see our review.)

Sorry to stray a bit, but lets take a look at the ingredients found in NV's formula:

• Green Tea Extract - Green Tea is a well known diuretic. If you are not familiar with diuretics, let me break it down for you. A diuretic increases the rate of bodily urine excretion which gets rid of sodium and extracurricular fluid (ECF). Now I don't like spending all of my time in the bathroom, but diuretics perform an important function in promoting weight loss.
• Hoodia Gordonii - The jury is still deliberating over if Hoodia promotes weight loss, but countless people are testifying in its behalf and it has been proven to be an effective appetite suppressant.
• Theobromine - No relation to Bromine, Theobromine is the primary alkaloid found in cocoa and chocolate. Researchers say that Theobromine has a mood improving effect, but has failed to provide any evidence that it promotes weight loss.
• Taurine - Taurine is needed for fat digestion as well as control of cholesterol serum levels in the body. It is thought that Taurine is helpful with anxiety (which I can attest to), hyperactivity and poor brain function (which my wife can attest to in my behalf!). The only issue with Taurine in NV is it is not provide an increase in energy and the human body requires vitamin B6 to be properly synthesized. NV doesn't contain any B6.
• Ginseng - Ginseng has been shown to be an effective stimulant, increasing a person's level of energy, and helping out with sexual dysfunction in men.
• Collagen - Collagen is the most abundant protein found in all mammals. Collagen is responsible for skin strength and elasticity, and low Collagen levels lead to wrinkles that come with aging.
• Silica - Silica is extracted from horse hair and promotes healthy nails, skin and hair

So if you are looking to lose weight, the only real ingredients that have been proven to aid in weight loss are Hoodia, and caffeine, which I left out of the list. There is really nothing special there that would make NV stand apart from other similar products. A concern that I have is the use of collagen, which is essentially an extract of animal byproducts. I would like to point out that any product that is harvested from animals scares me. What is even scarier is that if you take NV, you are ingesting these byproducts into your body, taking with you any animal related illness. Seriously, why even put that into your body??

My final thoughts about NV are that it contains some good and some not so good ingredients. If you look at the ingredients, there is nothing that has been designed to help women lose weight. Another insight is to the formulation of this product.

NV should have done their homework and realized that alone, a lot of these ingredients are useless. They should be paired with complementary ingredients which increase the ingredients effectiveness. NV is an average product, but there are many other products on the market that are more effective (and don't contain animal byproducts!).

Well the first week i took this pill I thought it was gonna be awsome, though I did experience quite a bit of headaches, and some loose bowel movements I had lost 3 pounds in 4 days! I thought wow!! I do like the energy boost it gives me but I been taking the pill almost a month now and so dissappointed because even though I been watching what kinds of foods I eat I have gained the 3 lbs back already. I still notice the energy boost but thats about it, it doesnt really suppress my hunger anymore and I saw no change in hair and nails. I feel the price for this product is too high for its performance but if it is safe to use for a period of time I would continue using it just for that extra boost in energy cause it doesnt make you crash hard with irritability like the Stackers do!

I have been taking him off and on . I have alot of trouble taking them because i get so shaky sometimes i cant even control my hands. I dont feel sick though . Also because of the shaking i have not been on them long enough to see the weight lose

I wanted to lose some weight before my sisters birthday so I decided to try NV and I must say I didn’t lose that much weight maybe 3 pounds but I did get something else it made me brake out and gave me headaches :( I would not recommend this to anyone !!!

I have been taking NV for the past week,as well Im also signed up with a Weight Watchers healthy lifestyle. The NV instruction booklet recommends that you eat a Low Fat,High Fibre,and a Calorie Reduced diet,which Weight Watchers recommends.And with those recommendations,I lost 2.8lbs after being on NV for a few days. Although this is not the greatest review to give,I do enjoy NV.The energy it gives me is wonderful,but having a full bladder is an inconvenience at times,but if the pill works,its a small penalty to pay!
I have not experienced any other uncomfortable side effects.

I have been taking NV off and on for 6 months.I am being honest saying this, it works for me and continues to.I have tried different products and NV is the only one that did not make me feel irritable and shaky. I have lost the weight I wanted, now NV helps me maintain my weight a keeps the snacking away.My daughter just had a baby and now she is taking it for a month and has lost 15 lb's.I feel that a person will not succeed unless they are in the right mind frame and ready to be serious about losing weight. Remember nothing will work unless you're ready for a change of life style like eating the right foods,walking or an activity you like. Adding NV to my daily diet helps with controling snacking and gives me just the right amount of energy.IT WORKS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I have been taking NV for almost 2 yrs and have lost over 20 pounds and have maintained the weight. I have noticed my skin is smoother and people have made comments about that and that I look younger. I do exercise 4 days out of the week and try to eat properly but not as I should. I have been please so far and am upset that I can't find it at Wal-Mart. I did not ever feel any side effects and still don't yet. Please let me know where or what will replace NV and where to get it.

I have been taking NV for about 2 years on and off.....I have lost 30 pounds....I stuck with it faithfully for the first year....and that is when I lost the most weight.....I also walked everyday about a mile each day. I take it hit or miss now just to maintain my weight loss....I still have 10 pounds that I am struggling with, but hopefully I will get there!!

And I to have tried lots of other products that says they .I thought I would give NV a try.I hope it works for me,I mean after having two kids.Things tend to go where they want too. I have used nv and it work great, i lost wait and din't feel any side afects, i am trying to use again becasue I am at 168 and was 160 before I work out alot and just try to loose my fat in my stomach that is really hard to do. But nv is graet.

hey i would recommend nv.. it makes me feel quite sick that i dont wanna eat a thing,so as far as supressing hunger i havent found a diet pill like it haha WORKS WONDERS because im just not hungry anymore!!!Great to take at nite time(when i usually have the munches) im hoping to see results this time around i really didnt think feeling ill was worth it but have since decided to try it again...IM SERIOUS if you don't mind feel a bit nauseated take itt:) of course the nausea could just effect the odd person like me..

I tried an entire bottle of this product. It did nothing but give me headaches and make me feel jittery. I lost no weight with this. Yes, I was following a sensible diet as well. But no time to excericse to be quite honest. I didn't notice a dramatic change in skin or hair. Would not buy again.

It is not the pill that works. Is your physical activity that works. Pills may help a bit, but don't rely on them, unless we talk about pharmaceutical products that are available only with doctor prescription. And many times not even those pills work properly. There are some pills still under experiment that they will be available by the end of the year. But only previous doctor prescription.
