Is Thermocerin a "Revolutionary Weight Loss Supplement?
If by "Revolutionary" you mean horribly sub-par, ordinary, cheap, and a free-trial nightmare - then YES - Thermocerin is Revolutionarily Horrible. (Is revolutionaryily even a word?)
With so many fat burners on the market there is probably a ton of confusion. So the makers of Thermocerin took the most ordinary supplement ingredients, tossed them into a proprietary blend, made some claims, offered a "Free Trial" and WHAMMO - we now have Thermocerin.
This review will cover Thermocerin's ingredients, claims, and most importantly their "free trial" offer. Is it "really free"? I guess you will have to keep on reading!
What is in Thermocerin?
Thermocerin is a blend of Green Tea, White Tea, Capsaicin and Caffeine.
• White & Green Tea are pretty good fat burners. As to the dosage of White and Green Tea in Thermocerin? We can tell by looking at the label that the dosage is pretty small. When it comes to making claims that Thermocerin is "clinically proven", they are referring to studies done on green tea. The dosages in those studies that show green tea to be an effective weight loss supplement way more then is offered in your serving of Thermocerin. Thus rendering the green tea all but useless.
• Capsaicin, derived from hot peppers, is a thermogenic compound - but only in the correct dosage - which is not found in Thermocerin.
• Caffeine - In the correct dosage, caffeine is a well known stimulant that has
thermogenic properties -- especially when combined with the appropriate amount of green tea.
Too bad Thermocerin doesn't include the correct dosages of these ingredients to make it a potent fat burner.
Thermocerin "Clinical Proof"?
There is no clinical proof that Thermocerin or its "blend" of ingredients is helpful for weight loss. The clinical data that is quoted all over their website refers to a study on green tea. Green tea does appear to be, as several studies have confirmed, helpful for weight loss - IN THE CORRECT DOSAGE.
A newer study published in the American Journal of Clinical Nutrition indicated the ingestion of a tea rich in catechins may lead to both a lowering of bodyfat AND of cholesterol levels. More so, the combination of green tea and caffeine may be even more beneficial for weight loss then green tea alone.
Thermocerin contains green tea (as well as white tea). It also contains caffeine, yohimbe, and capsaicin -- although we don't know the precise dosage -- the blend is labeled as "proprietary." However, there are only 255 mg of ingredients per serving, so Thermocerin hardly contains an effective dosage or serving size of fat burning ingredients.
Thermocerin's "Free Trial"?
Like so many other companies "trying" to get you to overpay for their diet pills, Thermocerin offers the infamous "Free Trial". These free trials have become notorious. They overcharge you for a product, they continuously ship them to your address and they are hard to get out of. Just take a look at Thermocerin's 'Terms and Conditions':
With this FREE TRIAL, you have an outstanding opportunity to try Thermocerin, the sensational weight reduction product. Many people start to enjoy significant improvements within 14-21 days. You have 25 days to evaluate this product and see the results for yourself. If you enjoy Thermocerin, simply do nothing. By accepting this Free Trial, you will join a select group enrolled in our Thermocerin VIP Program and will be charged the super low price of $49.00......a 17% savings at the end of your 25 day trial period. Thirty (30) days from your order date, you'll receive a fresh 3-month supply of Thermocerin for only $99.00 (a $78 savings) plus $6.95 shipping on US orders.
We will continue to provide this savings to you every 90 days thereafter.
First of all $50 is not a "super low price" for this supplement. Thermocerin is a $2 blend of ingredients. VIP Program? Hardly.
Thermocerin Conclusion
Thermocerin is hardly a potent fat burner. Maybe in the correct serving size, Thermocerin could be effective. Will you lose weight? You might. Green tea is a terrific supplement. Is Thermocerin a terrific value? No way. There are plenty of fat burners that contain way more green tea combined with other clinically proven ingredients that will help you lose a good amount of weight.
