Advanced Acai

leptorexin SyberVision's Top Rated Diet Pill
Are there diet pills that we do like? Yes - quite a few actually. When we rate diet pills we look at a variety of factors including: ingredients, customer feedback (which is why we allow you to post your reviews) and the satisfaction guarantee (if there is one). There are a few diet pills that have received extremely high marks across the board, and our favorite is LIPOREXALL. You can read our review or go to the official site.

What is Advanced Acai?

Advanced Acai is an acai based diet pill that promises to "Burn Body Fat, Control Appetite, and Increase Energy". Advanced Acai, like many other "free trial" products, automaticall enrolls you in a 'continuity' program. That means Advanced Acai will charge your credit card $70 per month until you cancel.

Let's take a look at Advanced Acai's website for a second. It is extremely similar to all the others, especially Acai Body Flush.

Apparently Acai is a miracle fruit. Here is the truth about Acai. Acai is grown only in the Amazon rainforest of South America and nowhere else. For hundreds or maybe thousands of years, the indigenous people of the Amazon have consumed these little berries. Only more recently has it gained global attention. For two years of my life I lived in Brazil and let me tell you, acai is everywhere down there. But according to recent media, acia can heal everything from skin conditions to cancer. If that were true, it would mean that almost every single Brazilian would have perfect skin, a killer stomach and no cancer…False! They struggle with these things as much as we do! So you can throw out the notion that acai is a “miracle” and just accept it for what it is; a powerful little berry.

Advanced Acai Free Trial?

The free trial is the only way that you can get a bottle of Advanced Acai. You can't get it at any store or any real website. Just the free trial. If you really want to order Advanced Acai, for some crazy reason, you should really read their terms and conditions:

Terms & Conditions: Start your FREE Trial today and we will send you a full 30 day supply of the Advanced Acai Weight Loss System dietary supplements. Just pay $3.95 in shipping and processing. You will have 14 days to try the Advanced Acai Weight Loss System dietary supplements and discover why they are the perfect weight loss dietary supplements for you. If you like how our dietary supplements help reduce body fat, boost metabolism and control your appetite, do nothing. At the end of your free trial period you will be charged the discounted price of $69.99. If for any reason the dietary supplements are not for you, call Advanced Acai Customer Care toll free at 1–866–943–3083 within your 14 day free trial period to cancel. Then simply return the product (even if it is empty!) and you will NEVER be billed any additional amount.

So you will be billed $70 for Advanced Acai.

These Acai Free Trials are nothing but trouble. The fact that they put in fine print all of these crazy terms and costs is totally outrageous.

Don’t believe me? Well then be my guest and sign up for the free trial, but don’t complain when you get a surprise in the mail a month later! That is how these guys make their money and I promise you that they make plenty!

Don’t buy acai from Advanced Acai, you are not going to get your money’s worth and you might not even be getting real acai.

If you want to try a diet pill that really does work and is back by a 100% satisfaction guarantee, try one of the products listed below!

I have gotten really sick and want my money back. The doctor states that it is due to an allergic reaction to whatever I have just started. I would like to be refunded the $69.99, a return authorization for the trial product that has cost over $100.00.:-P

Acai Berry and Colon Cleanse
I ordered the free trial for both products and a month later realized I was being charge $89 for each bottle. I made the phone call to stop it (the number that appeared on my bank statement) and I couldn't get through to anyone for days. I finally got a hold of someone and asked them to cancel. A month later I had another charge for each (89 each)so I called again and canceled and asked for my money back. By the third month I called my bank and they took care of it for me. My bank statement showed a different number and different company name each month, it was never the same, hence the reason I could never get a hold of anyone! It's a scam. I took the product and haven't noticed any difference in weight loss. But I have not had any side effects either so I will take them until they are gone.

I took my first one this morning, made me sick to my stomach. I have called already twice to Advanced Acai to cancel order said they will email me a confirmation of cancelation, none yet recieved. They do not tell you that you still get charged for this alleged introductory bottle. This is truly a scam. I just hope that I do not get stuck.

Acai Advanced /Live Lean
I had no problem returning the Acai Advanced but the Live Lean trial offer is a huge scam......first they called it a PRODUCT in the extremely fine print-but it is not a product at all it is sent to your email and is just a big joke....I was charged 24.95 for nothing - basically just a bunch of words...I waited on hold for an hour and then they would not refund my money for the "PRODUCT" which was not a product at all. EVERYONE BEWARE READ THE FINE PRINT VERY CAREFULLY OR YOU WILL BE SCAMMED!!!!!!!!!!!!>-(

Advanced Acai
I have yet to find out if I've been scammed but I ordered a bottle over the phone and when it came I called to cancel my subsription, which was my intention from the beginning. I got an email saying it was cancelled and I would only be chagred $29.95 one time(discounted from $79 because I called) for the bottle I have, which is what I agreed to. The email came while I was still on the phone with them. I even called back twice to double check that I hadn't been enrolled in any other programs and to make sure they really weren't going to send me any more pills. Everyone I spoke to did not have an accent and was very nice so we'll see!:-[]

I called to get a RMA number after 7 days of using this product. I didn't notice any difference, but I didn't want to be charged for some useless product nonetheless. The first thing they did was try to sell me more at a reduced price, I declined and then was told the RMA number would be sent to my email immediately. I waited all day and then called back. I was then told that the email had indeed been sent, I asked that they repeat the email address it was sent to. It was correct. I got the return information over the phone and returned the product immediately. It has been 4 days and I still have not received the email. I will definitely be watching my credit card statement for any additional charges.

Advanced Acai
I received my free trial w/in 4 days of ordering. This is the 13th day I've had it and I did find it curbed my appetite (it's the caffeine it contains). This was never mentioned in the product description until I read the bottle. The other positive enhancements the product is to provide like fat burner, matabolism increase, who's going to know in 14 days??? I read the fine print before ordering and there was only the stipulation that there would be no additional charges if the consumer phones to cancel w/in 14 days which I did do. Immediately, I got a email with the RMA # and return slip. That's when I found I was responsible for the return shipping which was not indicated in the fine print.
I looked this company up under the California BBB and found them to have a C- score. That's not all that bad considering the company. This could be because not enough people have contacted the BBB to file a report. This, we need to do!!!
I called the company back and asked them to repeat the return stipulations. The lady said I would not be charged anymore than the $3.95 I paid for shipping as long as I return the product w/in 30 days. This meant the company would need to have the return product in their hands in 30 days. She mentioned the shipping dept. is quite busy so to get a shipping date authorization from the post office to ensure the mailed date. She was telling me in the best manner she could that the company could and may take their time on processing returns in order to get the additional charges from their banking acct.. If I got this item so fast after ordering, then they should have my return processed as fast.
Please, call the company to validate the date they have listed as the beginning of your 14 days because you can bet it isn't the same as you have and they do not state when your 14 days begin. That's a trick.
Be sure and call within that 14 days and cancel and ask for their policy in returning and note it on paper. Get the customer service person's name and note it all. Get your product sent back with a shipping confirmation date from the post office. This may cost $2. but it's worth it. Keep the remaining tablets if you liked them. After all why should we pay any extra bulk. Call the company who manages your credit/bank card and tell them you will dispute any charges they try to take out. Perhaps they can stop the process depending on your bank. I'm hoping mine will!!!
If you are charged anything after doing these steps, contact the Federal Citizen Info. Center @ 1.800.333.4636 and ask for help in deciding who to contact for a complaint and your money back. Also you can try the California Better Business Bureau online and California's Office of Attorney General 916.322.3360. Try their toll free #800.952.5225 first. Their website is www.caag.state.ca.us. Also call your state attorney general's office.
These kind of stunts need to stop and it's up to our attorney general's to do so. Speak out because the more..the better!!!! Once they get enough calls they will be familiar with the company and their wrongful practices.
Don't let any company ever steal from you. Don't order using a credit card online again. At least check the company out first with the BBB. I hope you all get your money refunded.

I am a heart patient and diabetic as well. I got scared but more importantly didn't want something being automatically charged to my account. I am not willing to pay their exhorbitant prices. That is more than a tank of gas. I did talk with a nice lady and she did immediately send an RMA via email. I will follow the 30 day limit closely to return it 30 days from today. I will take it to the post office and get proof of mailing too. Some of these emails may have helped SAVE me. Thank you for the comments and this web site.

This company and product is bull!! What they don't tell you is they start charging you from the day they ship it out to you. They don't let you know that you don't have 14 days to actually try the product. You only have whatever time that's left after and when it's delivered to you. There is no benefit from using the product. It did not help me at all and I defitely would NOT recommend this to anyone. :-(:-(:oops:

:-P This product does not deliver and is way overpriced. The sister company Live Lean is an even greater scam. For 24.95 a month you get a web site and a password to access information you can get all over the "net" for free. The marketing is a real "caveat emptor" READ ALL THE FINE PRINT. Wish I had discovered this web site before I became victim to this scam.

SCAM!!!! I ordered the so-called "Free" trial offer. My ass. It is not free if you charge $70 for it!!! I have been taking it for a month now and have not noticed anything. Worst yet! I got charged for a stupid Live Lean online membership!!!! WTF. Non refundable $24. They said they sent me an email with a username and password. I said no and they said it was at the bottom of the email in the fine print. Who the hell puts a username and password in fine print at the bottom. Live Lean is a scam. Bullshit. Don't take this product.

Advanced Acai
I was on the Advanced Acai debating if I should try the product. I put in all my information including my credit card info for the free trial. Before I hit the button to continue with my order I decided that I didn't want it... I hit the back button to get out of it. Well they still shipped it to me and charged my credit card. When I called the number on my cc statement, they tried to sell me the product they sent me. Stating that they sent a 30 day trial and my cc would be charged in 14 days for 79.99. I immediately canceled my account. She stated she would send me an email with a return label on it that I have yet to receive. I will be reporting my credit card lost or stolen so they can not charge it again. THEY ARE A BIG SCAM GETTING RICH IN A VERY DISHONEST WAY!!!!;-)

acai advanced & colonpure
I, too, have become the next fool of this scam. Will I ever get it? Will they? I went through a lot of rigamarole attempting to cancel both orders before the 14 day trial period was up. I received 2 different RMA's for the same product, so I used them both on the outside of the package as they instructed me. The thing is; there is only one RMA for each package. Now that I think about it I don't think I can find my cc either; how 'bout that? Well, I guess I better call the bank and report it lost.

I ordered, I got, and was shocked about the 79.99 on my credit card. the product did not work. 79.99 is not what I agreed to pay for on my card. If they want the rest of the bottle back I will send it. after three weeks and no change I stopped taking it. What the point in offering a free trial pay shipping which I did. It wasn't so free after all, My credit card people are on this.

I agree with those who call this product's term "A SCAM" or a "RIP-OFF"!!!! READ THE SMALL PRINT!!! This company is making millions from our hard-earned money and are laughing ALL THE WAY TO THE BANK. They have developed their own "bail out". I don't know about you, but I do not have $79.95 to throw out of the window. I should have known better. I think we all are looking for that miracle in a bottle. If it exists, there is one thing we can be sure of, IT IS NOT ADVANCED ACAI!!!! :-(
#21 - Alicia - 05/11/2009 - 12:26
Advanced Acai
I received this product and used it for about 10 days. I don't drink any caffeine so it made me a little jittery and aggitated. When you have a 14-year old boy, the last thing you need is anything that 'increases' your aggitation level.
I gave it some time to settle down but it never did.

I called the customer service number to cancel my order before the 14 day trial ended. She said that the trial period would end on 5/13, which was exactly 14 days after the time I received the product. I verified this by checking the USPS delivery date confirmation number underneath the bar code on the box it was shipped in.

She asked me for the reason for my return, sent me the RMA number by email, which I received while still on the phone with her. This came with a shipping label that I could print out that had a barcode at the bottom with my RMA number. I'm fairly sure that it would be best to use this shipping label when returning the product as it would probably speed up processing.

From the return information I received with the product, I can expect the refund to be processed with 14 days of their receipt of my shipment to them. I will take the box I am using for shipping, which is really the same box covered with brown paper bag wrapping (learned this from my mother when I was growning up) and minimized the shipping label that they sent me to fit the box. I will ask for receipt confirmation at the post office.

Although I am paying for the return shipment, I think this is common practice with other orders that are shipped from any company, unless otherwise stated when ordering. I reviewed the return information and it did not say anything about them covering the return shipping. I had to return an XBOX to Microsoft for repair and that process was the most convenient process I have ever encountered, with them sending me the shipping label, pre-paid shipping, and online tracking of the status. It went to Texas and was returned within 2 weeks. If I didn't have a box and packing peanuts, already, they would have shipped me a box to return the XBOX. So, my point is, this isn't Microsoft that we are dealing with, it is an online free-trial. If you have never ordered anything from any of the shopping networks or anything from the internet, including major store catalog orders, you might be surprised that you would be stuck with the return shipping costs. Otherwise, I think it is a little naive.

After the representative took my information, she transferred me to an representative to ask me questions in compliance with the FDA. They were just questions about my symptoms, how long I had taken the product, if I received my doctor's approval to take the product. Of course, I didn't even though I knew that they had said I needed to do that before taking the product. That's pretty much universal advice for a product like this, too.

Both representatives were very nice, didn't try to convince me to try to continue to use the product, give me a discount to continue, or try to sell me another product. They just took my information, apologized for the product causing the side effects and that was the end of the converation.

I expect since they will not process the inforamtion for 14 days, I will receive the charge on my account. I would expect, though, that 14 days will be enough time to cancel the following charge. At this time, I have no reason to question this.

I will sign back on and give an update of my experience from this point but I have to say, it has only been reasonable service practices up to this point.

Possibly they were confronted by the Better Busines Bureau or the California Attorney General and improved their service. Regardless, they seem to be operating as I would expect them to at this point. And why wouldn't they comply? I'm sure there are a lot of people out there who forget about calling before the 14 day trial has expired or who lost the company's phone number until they see it on their credit/debit card bill. That gives the company their first payment without the requirement of refunding that charge. Even if they cancel any charges after that, they are still making tons of money.

Very few companies give a free trial without a catch. Hopefully, everyone knows that very few things are free, especially an online advertised product. Reading the fine print may be difficult to remember when you are caught up in the excitement of the anticpation of significant weight loss. That is where the old saying we've all heard comes into play, "Buyer Beware".

A total rip-off. I thought that at my age(62)that I was smarter than I was when I ordered a "FREE" trail! I went away for vacation and when I retuned my 14 days was up before I even got to try it! I called to see what I could do and the lady said I had been billed $80 for the bottle. She did agree to refund me $40 but I feel like a real fool! Please don't order this! Advanced ACAI
I am usually careful about what I order online or even elsewhere. But I came across the website ad for Advanced ACAI and the woman they showed a picture of and her name and that she lived in Tulsa, OK, which is where I live. She had lost some weight and was all gung ho about the product. Since she lives where I do (or does she?), I took the chance and ordered the product, I only had to pay $3.95 for shipping. I received it on 5/15, but noticed 2 different dates on the invoice of 5/9 and 5/11. I read the ingredients and more I thought about it I decided to not take it until I could talk to my doctor on Monday since I have diabetes and take med for high blood pressure. I guess I didn't read over all the info that well because I didn't realize they would automatically hit my account each month until I read the invoice that came with the package.

Today I thought to do some research on the company and I found this website and sure enough I'm glad I did.

I just put the bottle back in the box it came in. I plan to call them and will ship my order back to them. I may go ahead and contact my bank to put a stop on them if they should try to go ahead and charge my account.

I agree a 14 day trial isn't long enough to give a person time to lose any weight.

Resveratrol Company -
This company is a total Rip-off. I didn't know what the
Live-Lean was charged to my credit card either. I called my bank, Chase....the Disputes Department...and they told me to return both the Trial offer bottle and the second one which arrived the day I discovered the charges on my credit card bill. The bank said they would take care of getting the money back...since I was refused an RMA # or a refund by Resveratrol. Hey Everybody...when your bank does a chargeback to the company that charged you....they are charged $ 25.00 per disputed item. So....everybody, do a chargeback on the products. I also have written letters to the Attorney General in Maine, and Federal Trade Commission..and I'm not done yet with this. Everybody....email them also of your complaints. Myself, I'd rather pay higher taxes for more prisons to put these swindlers in. And if you need to, close your credit card account.

What a rip off. The product did nothing for me. I didn't know I'd get another bottle along with a charge of $83.00 on my cc. I called Immediatly and was told they would credit my card $40.00 and to keep the product. I told her I didn't want it and to please give me an R.A.# so I could return it and to take the entire amount off my cc. This woman was so familiar with my situation she just started ratteling off words. I asked her to repeat and she again said, "when you didn't return within 14 days we assume you are happy with the product and send again in thirty day's." Again I said I was not happy with the product, I want to return this new bottle and be refunded my money. Like a recording she again said "when you did not return....... I will cancell any further shipments. You will get an e-mail confirming this and we will refund your cc $40.00". There was no getting my point across I DO NOT WANT THIS!I WANT TO RETURN IT!!!! I WANT ALL MY MONEY REFUNDED!!! The robot lady started to tell me again "When you did not..... The longer I think about this the more pissed I get. They must get this same phone call over and over again to have such A controlled answer. Tomorrow I'm going to call some one, maybe the BBB. Any suggestions?

Acai Advanced and Live Lean for Life
:-(:-(:-(:-(>-( Total ripoff - apparently in the fine print details for some access to Live Lean - charged $25 for this non-existent information and after I was on hold for 45 minutes, was given some bullshit info and a P.O. Box of the company. Tried to report to BBB, no such companies exist. I can't believe I fell for this scam. I hope those people taking the phone calls rot in hell!

Your product is garbage but I bet you already know that. The nose bleeds and excessive dry mouth suring the onset of taking these pills shold have warranted a return but i gave them a full month with NO RESULTS. I demand a refund. Period. I first thought maybe a return of the product to test that the fromula was adhered to would be enough. No you don\'t work that way. Its family oriented and to accuse anyone in any manner is HATE. Then maybe consumer protection thru mail, NOOOO! The part of the family that works for the post office surely would counter that their jobs are linked to this amount of mail passing thru its system and this secures their job. Familiarity is a mother and this wreaks. So hit it and quit it is the philosphy used and its very lucrative I see. The taste for water should be growing strong for your region I just hope it happens to quench that thirst for once and all.;-)

Hence she is right about us all being different in metabolizing but I fell for the BS and excepted the extension making sure I wouldn't be charged. the only way to avoid being charged is to cancel your card. a few minutes after i read all the fine print and still decided to order acai advanced and be charged the 70 bucks for a product that sounded so promising, i decided to cancel my order. the phone numbers provided did not respond and i began to freak out. best solution to getting ripped off was to cancel my bank card, even though i got charged 5.95 for shipping. i was reassured there was no way possible to be charged the 70 dollars. sorry for everyone who had to learn the hard way, including me!

Acai Advanced
Acai Advanced is what all these people say-fraud, scam, and more. Do not wait to contact any and all agencies regarding this company. Get your bank, Better Business Bureau, Federal Citizen Info. Center, Federal Trade Commission, production companies who endorse it, David Horrowitz, and anyone else who can make this loud and known.
I only wish there was an attorney out there who would boldly take this up and fight this company. There is where we need our Federal Governement to protect consumers.
I also fell for it and immediately went to my bank and blocked my cc. Let's all call and bother these scam artists as much as they are us by committing fraud.

I am experiencing similar problems with ACAI on returning the product. I have tried calling for 2 days. I spoke with someone (Amy) on yesterday who said the computers were down and they could not process my cancellation and get me a RMA Number. Amy advised me to call back today, on 6/9/09. I called back today and after waiting over 10 minutes the like just disconnected; I called back and waited over 10 minutes again and I finally spoke with Gloria. She advised the computers were still down and I should call back later today or tomorrow. Today, I have been trying to call for the last 3 hours and cannot get anything but a busy signal. Something is drastically wrong. I will be contacting the Better Business Bureau as well. Also, I have advised my credit card company not to process any additional charges from this firm.

I have order the just the trial and since then i have been charge twice a month first time using this product one on 06/010/09 for 79.95 and second one is 06/29/09 and never been notified about this that they just take money out of your account. I have been trying to call the number and I couldn't get any representative. I just want my money back. HOW COULD YOU CHARGE MY ACCOUNT, TWICE IN ONE MONTH AND HAVEN'T RECIEVE THE PRODUCT?! I think this is a tremendously great product. those of you who say it is a scam....your wrong. this product is legit. You get a 14 day free trial and they send you a 30 day supply, you get 14 days to try it and if you dont like it you call back WITHIN the 14 day trial to cancel, an they do not ship or bill you again. IT SAYS THIS IN THE TERMS AND CONDTIONS WHEN YOU SIGN UP FOR THIS! IF YOU DONT READ THE TERMS AND CONDITIONS THATS YOUR OWN DAMN FAULT. now if you dont call to cancel, you will be charged the 79.95 WHICH IS ALSO STATED IN THE TERMS AND CONDITIONS. its a great product. you people just need to learn how to READ READ READ!!!!!!!

Be careful with this product and company. The pills are loaded with caffeine and unless you can function with little sleep, don't take them. I also called within the 14 day grace period to cancel. A woman named Jessica told me she would send me packaging to return the product. My fault was that I did not monitor my computer every minute of every day. They supposedly sent me 4 emails. They must have gone to the spam account and I never saw them. In the long run, I got charged $79.95 for a product I don't use and all they could say was we can give you $40.00 back. I had to suck it up. This company is a rip off. If you don't save the original packing sheet, you will never find a number to call them. I should have known better. Shame on me. >-(

Thank you to all who took the time to write an honest review. Last year I had this exact type of scam happen to be with the Diet Tea that I tried for $4.95 !!!! I hope some of you who have had the same problem I had will do something about it besides this. Contact BBB and file a complaint (you can do it online). They take this seriously and can do something about it. I got told today after calling this morning to cancel that my shipment got sent out and I cannot return it for reimbursement once it arrives. I also contacted the city of Portland, Maine to file a complaint there as well. speak up and put them out of business!

Advanced Acai is not a ripoff.. the terms and conditions are CLEARLY stated when you order… people need to stop complaining..just because they cant read, thats not the companies fault. I love the product and have had great results. Its not a rip off. a rip off would be if the company didnt take the time to clearly display the trms and conditions. READ. THATS ALL. READ. Stop taking your stupidity out on the company and the customer service agents. Nothing in this world is free. Duh. But it is possible to get a great product at a great price and its called Advanced Acai.:-o

Acai Advanced
I applied for a FREE TRIAL of AcaiAdvanced in which I was under the impression that I was only paying the shipping cost of $3.00. It took over a week before I received it and I began taking the pills immediately. They did nothing but made me sick to my stomach! I tried taking the pills before I ate, with food, and after eating. Regardless of when I took them, it made me ill!.............. They not only charged my credit card for shipping, but right after I received it they charged me over $60 for the bottle they advertised to be free.

I called the company and advised them I became very ill. I also requested them to refund me the charges for the pills because the advertisement emphasizes the initial product would be free....In actuality you are being charged for the bottle to begin with.... The customer service representative refused to refund the charges to my account. I stressed to her AcaiAdvanced clearly MIS-ADVERTISED their free product...... DO NOT BUY ACAIADVANCED PRODUCTS. NOT ONLY DO THEY NOT WORK, THEYRIP YOU OFF BY CHARGING YOU FOR PRODUCTS YOU DISD NOT REQUEST, AND PLACING UNAUTHORIZED CHARGES FOR PRODUCTS WHICH WERE ADVERTISED TO BE FREE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

AdvancedAcai & Colon Cleanse 3000
It sounds like a lot of people didn't read the fine print. I also ordered this products and didn't give a thought to the price or look at the "terms". When you do something stupid it is easier to blame someone else.
I like the AdvancedAcai, it is working for me, but everyone is different. It is not a "miracle in a bottle", if you want to lose weight you need to EXCERSICE and CHANGE YOUR DIET! It has definatly made it easier to stop snacking, I am not hungry at all so it is easier to make healthy choices!
I was angry too when I found out about the "membership" for both products but it was my own stupidity to not make sure I had read all the material! I cancelled the Colon Clease but not without having to pay for a 2nd bottle I did not want. I noticed no difference with the colon cleanse.
I had every intention of cancelling the Acai as well but when I called they were very nice and they were going to accept my cancelation even though it was past the 14 day deadline because they had not sent or charged me for the second bottle! I ended up deciding to get it every 60 days instead of 30 (there is a option for 90) and I got a reduced price for not cancelling.
It is not a scam if YOU don't read the terms and conditions!

I don't know why these idiots haven't been FINED & SHUT DOWN by now! After I ordered the 5.95 free trial bottle, & was charged the $70.00, I called them like hundreds of others & demanded a refund. I guess the guy at the desk was a rookie. He agreed to refund it & did, also stating they would pull it out of the system. NOW....(A month later) I find another charge today for the same amount on my debit card. I called today & was told that the refunded amount should have never been done, so they re-charged me. Cut up your debit cards & get another one with different numbers. They will probably continue to suck money out monthly like the slimey leeches they are. WHAT EVER YOU DO, DON'T GIVE THESE CROOKS YOUR DEBIT NUMBER!!

I got the $88 charge on my credit card and was also surprised. I called the CS number and they told me I was out of luck with any kind of refund. The terms were there and I had agreed to them.

I ordered AA in April, knowing the benefits of acai, and thinking this would be a way to help curb my appetite also. I did read the fine print and knew their return policy, which is pretty much the same with all companies. I took one each morning, and by the second week noticed a lessening of my appetite. I also noticed an increase in my energy, including my libido, by about the 3-4th week. I took AA faithfully for 3 months, and the small 'tire' around my waist and hips pretty much vanished. Since running out of the 90 tabs in July, I held off re-ordering because of finances, and the fullness around my waist is coming back! And I'm am back to my snacking urges :( What I don't understand from all these comments is, first of all, don't people check out first what they are ordering and how company policies work? And second, don't they also simply check out the ingredients to see what they are about? Chromium polynicotinate is a mineral required for regulatio of blood sugar; RDA is 50-200mcg daily...AA contains 100mcg..Chromium polynicotinate facilitates and/or stimulates the metabolism of sugar, fat and cholesterol in the body, as well as the function of insulin. Major hospital and university studies have suggested that supplementation with chromium may reduce body fat, help build lean body muscle, regulate blood sugar and lower elevated cholesterol, particularly in chromium deficient individuals. This is a good thing! Simply google each ingredient in the mix and you will find there are no harmful substances, in fact in scientific trials, raspberry ketones increased the production of a hormone called norepineprine, which increases the temperature of the body causing an increase in the metabolic rate. Another effect of the supplement when it was examined in a study was that it reduced the body’s ability to synthesise dietary fat.
As for me, I had absolutely no adverse side effects. For about $27 per month, it has served me well, and I have re-ordered it. 14 days is hardly time for most supplements to take effect, especially if they are working on changing your body's chemical balance. Focus on the products' benefits and give it time to make the change. Live well :)

I tried for 2 days but stopped due to hives and asthma attack. Called customer service and waited a short time. Very courteous person (Michelle) heard the problem and promptly sent me an RMA. She asked my to talk to another person about the details. She was also nice and asked appropriate questions. I received immediately the RMA with return instructions. This came in my spam e-mails which maybe the reason some people did not receive it.

I ordered the free trial and blah blah blah, it made me really sick after the first few days, LUCKILY right!? I told my sister about it and she let me know about them taking money out of your account. So i called right away and aparently it was a different company who sold the same thing but I wasn't in THEIR system, they gave me another number to call, so on and so forth. Finally I got the right one and talked to someone (Who barely spoke english) and I told them that I got sick and want to cancel any future product they would send... I got it taken care of, but had I not gotten sick from it, I would've gotten ripped off because I DID READ THE FINE PRINT! I read every letter of EVERY word on the whole entire WEBSITE and it did NOT say one thing about AUTOMATICALY charging my card for a refill!>-(:-[]

Wow, that's a total bummer that so many of you guys seemed to have a bad experience with Advanced Acai but it sounds like a few of you guys actually are talking about a knock-off product called Acai Advance the tries to look like the real thing. When I decided that I wanted to cancel my order of Advanced Acai i only had to wait about 45 seconds to speak to a customer service person and after a few minutes of trying to get me to keep the product they just gave me an RMA number and told me to send it back. I did, and they refunded my money within 15 days of putting the rest of the pills in the mail back to them.
You guys need to make sure that you always read the terms very carefully. Did you really think that a company was going to give you something for nothing? It sounds like you wanted to get something from them for free...and that's not how the world works!

These people promise a cancellation email. Never got one. They got my 79.95 plus the shipping and handling. DO NOT FALL FOR THIS. My poor husband signed me up and I am stuck budgeting for my family without 80.00. I called the day I found out--24 hours after the order was placed. I was assured it was cancelled. Um, nope. Apparently it was another company I called that gave a cancellation number for the acai. THIS company doesn't give cancellation numbers only emails (still waiting for that email.) She said my account was cancelled. THIS IS A SCAM. I plan to stop payment as I would rather pay the bank $30 every six months than pay advanced acai a single red cent.

BEWARE! The product isn't bad at all, but the marketing leaves much to be desired. I ordered the product on 9/13 and it was shipped 9/14. I received it 9/25.
I've used it and it does seem to make a difference in energy level. But I knew I wouldn't be able to manage the $70 at this time. So I called and spoke to "Charlene" on 10/2/09. Charlene offered to extend the trial until 10/12/09 at which time I could call and cancel or order more. I called back today and was told that "Charlene" had made no entry into my file and that I had been billed today for $79.95. I told them that I had understood that the offer was to be extended. He said it had not been extended, but that he could send RMA information and that I would be charged a $20 restocking fee. I told him he was out of his mind. I hung up and called my bank to have the transaction cancelled.

I was stupid enough to try this companies "free trial" offer. Didn't get the free sample back before the end of 14 day due to being on vacation when the product came. Did not disbute charges because I was at fault for not returning on time. Then the next bottle came. Immediately notified company to cancel subscription and was given Return Merchandise Authorization #. Returned package unopened that day. Bank withdrawn was for $83.90 and was notified that I would only get back a 59.95 refund. Called company and complained and asked why I was only getting that much back. Said it was the difference between unopened and opened package. Told him the package was not opened. He agreed to refund additional $10.00. Was told I would not get full refund because they had to charge a $10.00 destroy fee. What a CROCK!!! You don't think they are going to go ahead and use that unopened bottle and resell it!!! This company is a rip off. Don't buy their products!! MAKE SURE TO READ FINE PRINT>
