Are there diet pills that we do like? Yes - quite a few actually. When we rate diet pills we look at a variety of factors including: ingredients, customer feedback (which is why we allow you to post your reviews) and the satisfaction guarantee (if there is one). There are a few diet pills that have received extremely high marks across the board, and our favorite is Apidexin. You can read our review or go to the official site. Appetite
How to Curb That Appetite
Frequently I hear from personal training clients that they just cannot seem to stick to their diets. As soon as a plate of donuts or a bar of chocolate is set in front of them, willpower goes out the window.
As a personal trainer, fitness and diet are both important to me. But there are times that I have cravings and I have to work towards curbing my appetite. What are the best ways you can curb your appetite? How can you avoid the problems that arise by giving into cravings?
We all know that giving into too many cravings can cause weight gain. However, there are some other reasons that giving into a craving may not be healthy.
How many times have you started a diet and then slipped up? After you slip up you probably have said that the diet was shot. Just because of one slip you stop making the changes that are crucial to your improved health.
Mental and emotional effects are some of the most common problems when cravings hit. You start to feel like you cannot do it and there is no way you are going to lose weight. Instead of giving up just because you are human and slipped up, resolve to change that day. Do not wait for tomorrow or the next day. As soon as you give in, get right back to your diet.
Can I let you in on a little secret? One square of chocolate is not going to ruin your diet. It is the actions after that that could throw you off the path to improved health. Many people say that their diet is not going to work so they use that as an excuse to binge.
Speaking of bingeing, let’s talk about the right diet for a second. Going on a diet is completely different from following a healthy diet. If you go on a diet you are probably making some poor diet choices. This could be because you cut out carbs or protein or some food that is key for your health. When you go on a diet you are more likely to suffer from cravings.
To avoid most cravings, simply follow a healthy diet. Focus on fruits and vegetables. By eating lean protein you will keep yourself fuller for a longer period of time. The right carbohydrates can keep you full and will not ruin your diet.
If you have done all this and you still have insatiable cravings, it may be time to take some action. Some people have found that appetite suppressants such as glucomannan are especially helpful to reduce cravings. Other diet aids like Chromax can regulate blood sugar levels which helps to reduce cravings as well.
Although both of these are beneficial diet aids, there are some completely natural things you can do as well. By making some changes to your cupboards and small changes to your daily habits you can curb cravings once and for all!
- Remove junk from your house: Why would you purposely leave the ice cream in your freezer that you know is going to tempt you? Take out all the junk food that is in your house. If it is not there, you will not be able to give into your cravings in the way that you normally might.
- Replace it with fruits and vegetables: Instead of giving into cravings by eating sugar, replace your sweet tooth with a fruit tooth. Keep plenty of in season fruits and vegetables in your cupboards so you always have a healthy snack available. These are filling and will not cause you to leave your diet.
- Avoid shopping when you are hungry: Write down the foods you need and stick to that list. If you are hungry when you are shopping then you are probably going to add some junk into your cart that will just tempt you when you get home.
- Wait to eat dessert after dinner: Did you know that it takes about 20 minutes for your body to recognize that you are full? Wait a half hour after dinner before you sit down to dessert so you are less likely to overeat. There is no reason that you need to give up all your favorite treats. Just plan for treats in your diet so you are still able to stick to your diet.
- Learn to recognize feelings of fullness: As a child you have the innate ability to recognize when you are full. As adults we have usually lost this ability. Learn to listen to your body so that you can tell as soon as you are full and then develop the will power to set your fork down!
- Make room for snacking: Eating every few hours can keep you feeling fuller. And if a snack is planned into your diet you will be less likely to binge eat. Who needs to give into cravings when you have a snack planned for three and you know that you love it?
- Keep snacks in single servings bags: To avoid overeating when you snack, keep the servings in individual bags. If you do not buy individual servings, as soon as you get home take out a snack bag and put just one serving in each bag. Take out the gallon of ice cream and divide it into the proper serving sizes. However, make sure that you do this only when you are full so you don’t snack!
- Avoid impulsive buys: If you frequently get hungry when you are out running errands, keep those snack bags in your purse or car. Do not stop at a fast food joint or a gas station to get a snack. They will not help your diet!
Curbing your appetite starts with a healthy diet. Follow these tips and watch those cravings disappear!
