Sensa - The Sprinkle Diet?

Sensa is a diet supplement that is a food sprinkle that helps you eat less. At first I thought it was some sketch comedy bit from Saturday Night Live. The premise behind Sensa's weight loss promise seemed a bit comical. Sensa, or the "sprinkle diet" apparently works by sprinkling some sort of powder on your food before you eat it. Sensa claims that it uses your senses (hence the name 'Sensa') of smell and taste to "safely, naturally trigger your body’s “feel full” response so you can lose weight without any uncomfortable or embarrassing side effects."(Sensa Website).

I just don't get it. Their is no dieting, no exercising, just some magic dust? It kind of throws out all logic and conventional wisdom. You can't eat whatever you want and lose weight. Calories are calories, fat is fat, carbs are carbs. Whether you eat less may help but only if you are burning more calories if you are consuming. Right? Am I missing something there?
